This is a fascinating profile of Joel Simkhai. It is too bad that he wouldn't let you interview him, but this profile is the next best thing.
Thank you sir!
I once met a Jewish family where the dad was a transgender surgeon, the mother bisexual, the daughter a lesbian and the son gay.
Wowza!
❤ nice informative video. Great job putting the interview all together without the interview.
Thank you for watching Neil!
Fascinating profile of Joel. Another reason he didn't do the interview is because he's with Motto and is no longer involved with his creation in which is now his competition.
I told him he could promote Motto!
I had my salesman hat on. 😉
Very interesting video, Keven. It's too bad Joel didn't want to do an interview but you are so articulate and everything you discussed about him was so well thought out and detailed, I honestly didn't miss the one on one all that much. Good job!
Thank you so much!
Sorry you didn't get the interview, but you did a good job of making up for it with interesting details of which I knew nothing before. At 71 with no interest whatever in hookups of any kind, I've no use for Grindr. It's impossible not to be aware of its existence though. My impression is it quickly devolved into a meat market.
Cute shirt Keven ❤
You did a good job there.
Thanks!
I don't know if we live in a different age. Maybe gays do, but not most people. There's a lot of push back to wokeness, body positivity and especially the lgbt which apparently we are all classified as one group (gays and trans) despite being so different from each other but I digress. Joel would probably agree with me that 2009 was a way more liberal and accepting time compared to now.
At least he thinks you’re attractive lol. Not personal he probably gets lot of people trying to use him, maybe you should have flirted. Side question about the app: do you ask guys you meet in person about their hiv status or just use protection and don’t mention it?
They're lucky if they even get a handshake at this point 😜
I'm sure he could have done a quick call with you.
Does it make the Grindr sound if you pinch or lightly bite a nipple through the shirt ;) Grindr is like the app version of Craigslist casual encounters when they closed most of those users all are on Grindr now.
If he was still the person before the acquisition would’ve interviewed with you.
I knew a family in Milwaukee either 6 kids. 3 men and 3 ladies all gay with same-sec partners.
