I quite liked Moon Crystal (I think it's Hect too, IIRC? If so, might be their most well-known game in the West.) Don't think I've ever heard of this one though, it's quite something!
Moon Crystal is Hect's best game and their only action game on the Famicom so it has gotten a bit more attention than their very long Meikan/Shinan series which is pretty much only known by Famicom collectors and spoken up in hushed whispers or while sobbing uncontrollably. I still need a copy of Moon Crystal; it's pretty rare but not even in the top three of Hect's rarest games. At least since recording this episode I've tracked down good deals on three more Hect games. They're now tied with Taito as the game company I'm missing the most releases from at five each.
If anyone is like me and heard Mio or Neo, the video game being referenced at 0:45 is Nioh.
