- bit of a dumb vid ngl, but the character customization is this game is so far my favourite part of tekken 8 still grinding my way up in purple ranks but this is probably where I'll sit for a while until I get used to Kings Wave dash and chain grabs

I have a super bad habit of going for the hop kick (I'm assuming that's what you ment by wake up knee) but the inner gambler in me says otherwise haha
@@ItsJustPual I think you can still buffer giant swing off wake up if you wanted to go for something big, it would be a bit safer

At 8:40 you could have done b 1,2 twice. Get him on the wall and then do DF 4,3,4 to cause wall smash. Then D1+3 to 2,1,3,4. For 100 damage 🤪

Bro once you make it to purple it only gets worse, i have been stuck in an endless loop of going to blue rank then back to purple😭

@@ItsJustPual i have spent so much time in practice ever since i got on purple rank and i will say that learning big damage combos and punishes became a necessity
@@battierthrone2845 Honestly once you land a big hit gotta make it count also recognizing throw breaks are a big one for me less likely to get hit with a mid launcher

Use to play king but stopped cause bro is weak in a lot of ways but strong in many other
I mainly picked him because he's a wrestler (this is my first tekken so I don't know how he was in T7 and lower) I am sad that he had a few things taken away, but I'm just enjoying him as a character a (design, lore, screaming out wrestling moves as I do em)
