Hey Meesh and Dee of House of MD "Happy Wednesday". I hope you two day has been going well. This was a great season finale. As your can see season 2 is a build up to the battle between the Blacks and Greens. As so much has happened in this season finale. We see Tyland Lannister trying to get the Triarchy to join him on the side of the Greens to face the Blacks. As we are introduced to Admiral Lohar. Who's an odd person. As she reminds me of Tormund of the Wildlings in Game of Thrones. He must battle her to prove himself as he must best her to get her people on his side to help the Greens in the war with Blacks. In which he proves himself. Lol at Tyland's face when Lohar wants him to bare her kids. Larys Strong is able to convince Aegon to leave Kings Landing to Bravos after telling him house Rhaenyra forces increase with Dragons. Aemond burned Sharp point. He tries to get Helaena to join the battle but she refuses. As you can see he's losing it. And him taking out Aegon was the worst decision he ever made. I like how she calls him out for burning Aegon. As she tells him his fate as well Aegon will become the King again. Jacaery is not happy with the changes his mother made. As he does not like Ulf because he lacks manners. I like the conversation he has with Baela as she tells him to take his mother side in the war. You can see the look on Addam and Hugh's face at the dinner scene as they may kill innocent people in this war. like the name of the ship Corlys name after Rhaenys "The Queen Who Never Was". As well I like how he counseled Rhaenyra on war and how to fight Aemond. I like how we finally see Alyn say his peace to Corlys. As he tells him how difficult it was growing up fatherless and as bastards living a harsh life of poverty. Daemon woke up by Alys Rivers as she leads him to the weirwood tee as he see envisioned of a future of the Night King and Daenerys. It is hilarious how Ser Alfred Broome tries to get Daemon to betray Rhaenyra only to realize Daemon pledged loyalty to her when she arrived at Harrenhal. As he runs lol. I was wondering why Aegon didn't take his son Melor with him as his heir since he explained very graphically how his hope of any more children is lost and even if he becomes king - what is it without an heir? He is the one believing he inherited the crown as his birth right so why is he not set on securing his bloodline ? That is the very essence of this war... It does not make sense to me at the moment.
Aegon doesn't haven any son called Maelor. After Jaehaerys was killed, he only has his daughter left, Jaehaera. He already has no heir. This isn't the book.
@@Eagle09-nv5xd No it's a wooden chair made for Aegon because he will later break his legs in dragon battle(Sunfyre vs Moondancer), so he won't be able to climb the Iron throne's marches( Yep the throne is very high in the Book).
I mostly agree that this was a good episode of HOTD, but an underwhelming season finale. I also get frustrated that many people seem to think that we are gonna get a big battle or dragon battle every other episode. Don't get me wrong, I would love that too, but I just know that it's not financially or logistically possible for the showrunners to do that
It's literally a man in real life who claims to be a woman, who is playing a character that's supposed to be a woman with manly traits, but is very obviously actually a man.
Overall this season was a disappointment for me, but especially this finale. No pay-off after hyping everyone up coming into this season that it's going to be all out war!! They literally marketed this whole season to be war between the Blacks and Greens and this is what we got? Season 2 ended the same way as season 1, Daemon pledging himself to Rhaenyra to stand beside her in battle! So basically this entire season was a teaser for season 3?! And the thing that annoys me even more is that they could have fit a major battle into this finale if they weren't spinning wheels the whole season on Daemons visions, Raenah running around looking for a dragon that she doesn't even claim, Corlys not acknowledging his sons over and over again, etc. I blame the writers but also HBO bc I fear they are trying to milk this series for as long as possible and are forcing writers to drag these stories out, which is hurting the audience's experience! I'm supposed to be jaw-dropped and begging for more after a finale (like season 1) and this just did the opposite knowing we have to wait 2 more years!
I'm just curious. What did you think of the pacing of GOT season 8? Sounds like that is what you wanted for HotD S2. Just rush through things without any context. I think there wasn't a single boring or wasted scene this season. But I'm more interrested in the charaters anyway. I just want to be in this world. The pace could have been even slower for me. And in ten years when I rewatch this show for the eighth time I will not care if the big stuff happens in this episode or in S03E02.
@MarcelHeldt1983 awful! The exact opposite of this season which is just as bad. I'm glad you enjoy it, I just didn't. That's fine. Peak GOT just did a much better job than this season of keeping you on your toes at all times. I just didn't feel the tension, especially in this finale. Maybe if they killed an important character or something I would feel different. My main point is still true, they ended season 1 and 2 the same way and marketed this season to be war, and there was no war. I didn't have unrealistic expectations, they gave false impressions of what they would actually deliver.

Aegon doesn't haven any son called Maelor. After Jaehaerys was killed, he only has his daughter left, Jaehaera. He already has no heir.
This isn't the book.
@@hoon_sol ok, thanks for clarifying
Helaena said a "wooden throne", not the iron throne.👀
Would love to hear what you think that means!
Well it seems you have read the book.
@@TheDream6842 I have not lol. She literally says it in the episode. Maybe you have?
@@daniellaaa24 Yep I have, so I know what she meant.
Driftwood throne maybe. I got no clue.
Don't get me wrong, I would love that too, but I just know that it's not financially or logistically possible for the showrunners to do that
Audio quality from the episode wasnt good but as always ❤ you guys.
Lmao a finale can't be good unless someone dies? 😅
Lohar was introduced and referred to as a man. But…obviously a woman.
It's literally a man in real life who claims to be a woman, who is playing a character that's supposed to be a woman with manly traits, but is very obviously actually a man.
Absolutely not okay. NO
This reaction would have been good if wasn't so obviously out of sync with the footage.
There there. It's okay. You're okay.

Aegon gets burned and flees king landing, Rhaynera finds 3 dragon riders. 🥱 they could have done more this season
Tiktok mentality in full swing.
@@sneb1886 or, nothing happened this season
