For the price hike to get market share they should have addressed it
It's a jeep not a bmw
@@Ken-h9r yep but a bit better lining on the top solves something of the problem, especially if it is a daily driver
In australia the current 4cyl diesel wrangler unlimited is 80k, god knows what they will price the v6 diesel at. The 20k+ hike in price the JL is not justified in its improvements. I’d love to go back to a wrangler unlimited.
Is it good for a long road trip
65K noisy rattle box. Big tires have a slidy, boaty feel. It's only good as a second car,not a daily, guys. If you can afford it.
I'm gonna get a jeep gladiator soon, from what I'm seeing with the base model it's at around 33,000 dollars with the diesel engine
When Broncos hit the lots, Jeep will need to throw incentives to keep customers, IMO.
really looking towards the ecodiesel gladiator release! glad the wrangler is as good as it is.
I hate wranglers but i do like how the steering wheel looks like the one jaguar uses
for that coin you could by a 1 ton diesel fairly loaded.
Loaded with what? Shit that doesn't get you up a trail?
@@xzysyndrome nicer interiors better engines towing capabilities you know truck stuff, and don't try to act like you absolutely need the stuff a Jeep has to go down a trail, a minivan could probably complete the Rubicon easier than a Jeep could.
@@zachsteele6964 Nice interior does not get you up a trail. Opinion does not get you up the trail. Towing capability does not get you up the trail...a better engine would certainly help get up the trail, can't argue that. I said nothing about Jeep. Cool your jets Fanboy...My original point stands. A minivan doing the Rubicon easier than a jeep? Well now you are just being silly...have a good one my man. You are too charged up to be civil.
@@xzysyndrome I wasn't necessarily comparing a truck to a Jeep when it comes to off-road capabilities sorry for the confusion, and I obviously wasn't being serious about the minivan thing lol.
You can get a Raptor or used Land Cruiser for that kind of money. Jeep is cool, but max at 45K loaded. It is simply cheaply made.
Those are some nice vehicles, sadly in my third world country you can't drive this nice vehicles anymore because the cartel send people to steal this kind of cars.
maxmiau don’t worry here in America you can’t drive them home from the dealership without them falling apart lol. Jeeps are terrible cars
@@lukew67 Yes here we have the Reliability Cartel lol
Excellent review quality!
The ending though, Topher parks on a snow mound, alright guys were gonna wrap up lol
$65,000 for a Jeep?! They have lost their mind. I can get a fully loaded f-150 or a decent f-250
Jack Wellborn nope you’re going to pay more and have none of the capabilities
and I'll winch you up the trail...because I am helpful like that...Can't wait to watch all the Ford fanboys celebrate the Bronco...when it comes out in trim levels from 28k-70k. I'll still be there...waiting to winch you up brothers.
You gonna go on trails and climb in them?
Lol @ taking a $65k vehicle off-road, rock crawling at that. You’re special. The most these Jeep owners get off-road is the one time during the year they go visit their great aunt Pat that lives 10 miles outside of town and then travel down a quarter mile gravel driveway.
@@crispusattucks6094 Mostly wrong...but whatever makes your broke ass feel better.
your right! diesels not for city slickers!!!! duelers ect. there made for work and towing toys, and off roading!!
Damn, I’d be willing to trade my current JL for this eco diesel but I’m also done paying it off in October. I’ve also put in almost 8k in parts and customizations. So that kinda hurts. Rather get the title and sell it then... might also wait for the diesel gladiator as well but I can’t get over how weird it looks when it’s not decked out.
Why? Diesel cost more per gallon...pollutes more...and as far as Jeep History shows...isn't any better? Is it a badge? This is an honest question. I do not understand the allure. Please explain.
@Captain Caveman Edgy...keep on keeping on pretender.
it was a time when brand new wrangler was just $14k grands.
This is my dream Jeep until I remember that my 2 door JK only cost me 18 k before my 9k down payment and only has 12000 miles.
That's the jeep your mom gets when she's in the market to haul the kids to soccer practice and drive up to the lakehouse every weekend. Not an offroading champion. It's just too nice and "bougie" And him driving through that muddy puddle and having a little giggle is like THE mom move.
What trim is it. Cause the one I'm looking at is barely 40k with the turbo
65 THOUSAND!!!??? If you qualified for a 0%APR over 72 months... that's still over $900 PER MONTH, without a single mod. Do you realize the rig you could build with that kind of money from a high mileage donor.
I like your review video it's awesome
DON'T DO IT! I have a 2016 ECO Diesel Grand Cherokee. One problem after another. The old CDR Mercadies motors were the best, lots of torque, good mileage, last forever, THIS IS NOT THAT MOTOR.
Not the same motor as the 2016.
The door latch hits the steering wheel when opening the door?!
Tahoe King no? I have a JL and that’s never happened
Until they get rid of that CVT transmission, they’re gonna be nothing more than an auto shop local.
great state of michigan, i work very close to were you were driving.
I heard the oil change prices are crazy high!!
$110 for parts if you do yourself. Dealer cost is about $225-$250.
It's the best American car. Here in my country Jeep is very expensive. It's rich man's toy❤
how do you get the punkn orange when its not available online?!?!?!?
great review! thanks
Love your Jeep!
Not sure if they have revised that motor yet, but the Fiat eco diesel they put in the Ram was horrendous. My buddy is a tech at a Dodge dealer and said those things are a hot mess of issues.
This is a totally redesigned engine.
Unpopular opinion: while I respect the off-road prowess of the Wrangler, these have to be among the worst cars I've ever driven. As a second car, sure, but I have no idea how urban chicks daily drive these.
*watches Bronco video sees a Jeep ad*
*watches Jeep video sees a Volvo ad*
Figures.
Sorry, it's not the same diesel as was in the Ram.
