great guide, thank you. If anyone uses one of the Chuwi pc's with this guide, be careful when installing Cockpit. I found that it disables the network manager. I ended up installing Cockpit without the network package as a work around.

Nice! your videos are so clear and great! Thanks! Can you follow the same instructions with a normal desktop computer that fits the requirement? Is the min of 1000 FLUX already live (halving already done)?
no but you can do it with hyper-v or vmware. Can't be docker. Type 1 hypervisors are more ideal but type 2 like virtualbox will work too. the performance is degraded with type 2 though.
I'm pretty sure I was able to follow these steps accurately but when I get to the end and hit "start" under my fluxnodes, the status switches to starting, then to offline. I can't seem to figure out what's going wrong...
This video helped me get my first node complete - Thanks... I have a question about node specs..... I'm currently running a cumulus node and hope to run a Nimbus node at some point. My question is related to the "EPS" spec on the CPU - how do I know what hardware (cpu) to pick to meet the 640 EPS requirement? I can't see an EPS spec anywhere on CPU documentation
Appreciate all of this info. I'm very bullidh on FLUX and very interested in both mining and setting up a node. How much of my internet bandwidth should I expect a Cumulus Node to use per month? Any idea?

the new cumulus requirement is happening on the 12th. you can still run nodes with old requirements right now. and there is a testnet to test your hardware to see if you can meet the new benchmark
I have a question....would I be able mine and run a node on the same rig? I assume as long as the rig meets the requirements for both, it can be done, but wanted to get some thoughts.
Hi Modo Tech, I am just wondering how long is it take to get reward/payouts? It is few days now since my node is running and still no payout, also reward tab is all 0 in zelcore under the flux node.
Hi Modo Tech, at 10:57 for port forwarding, how do you do that if you have 2 nodes on one server installed as on your videos "Multiple Flux Nodes on 1 Device? Proxmox + ReServer Make It Possible" . Because I have set up my server exactly as you said on your videos ("Multiple Flux Nodes on 1 Device? Proxmox + ReServer Make It Possible") but it doesnt work. I'm getting a lot of error. As : "Status Flux is not confirmed. Flux is running with limited capabilities." and "Error WARNING: check your network connection, 0 blocks received in the last 4 hours (120 expected)" on FluxOS (web interface) at "Benchmark>Benchmarks>GetInfo" Status is online, Benchmarking is failed and Flux is disconnected. Do you know how can I resolve this probleme please?? Thank you
you can send the transaction and get the confirmations you need now so when March 1st comes you don't have to wait for blockchain confirmation to setup the node.

After installing docker and the computer is rebooted...after reboot will it go back into Docker login or Ubuntu login. If Ubuntu login how do I get back to Docker login?
you don't log into docker...all you did in the installation process is to add your existing user to the docker user group. you login to ubuntu with your regular username and password. if you need further assistance, you can join Flux official discord.
I am sorry (and I can follow the instructions no problem) but if Flux really wants the nodes to reach more people, volume and market they will need to make it 100 times easier to setup. This way too complicated for a normal crypto enthusiast. They need to have an installer for windows, add your collateral, meet the benchmarks and done. Why this needs to be so complicated?
I agree. That’s why they have project Titian and some exchange staking options. No nodes needed. But I think people like you who is willing to go through the technical struggles should get rewarded more?

How is this hardware holding up? Still up and running no problems? Just curious the longevity of this mini pc since it is a little more expensive.

If the power goes out and the server reboots do you have to restart the cockpit manually or once loaded will it be restarted with reboots.
