I have the gen 1 since its release as well as the Talon-SS and the Condor . Defiantly a beast . Great backpacker . Few companies actually post real FPS figures like Airforce.

I think I might try to get the Condor next. I love the power of the Airforce rifles.

You won't be sorry . Mine is in 22 but now have the 25 barrel installed . Very loud without a moderator , sporting a DonnyFL .

@@backyardairgunsif you want a backyard friendly version I would go for the Condor SS in .25. It is pretty quiet, accurate and very powerful. At seven or eight yards it will put a hole in the side of a 55 gallon drum / burn barrel. It won't pass through both sides but will punch a clean hole through one side with a 26 grain pellet at power level 10.5. Definitely a powerful hunting airgun for sure. The non silenced version of the Condor is a decent amount more powerful but is quite loud. Louder than a .22 long rifle.

Great testing video i really enjoyed it. Those Seneca pellets reall putting out the foot pounds! My first pcp i purchased is an AirForce Recon in 25caliber and i installed a bigger 500cc tank and Talon Tunes moderator. It's a tac driver too at 30 yards. Good luck at Pyramid this august as well!

Thanks Steven! I'm a big fan of Seneca Pellets and AirForce rifles. I think I'm going to compete in three shooting events this... NAC, RMAC, and Pyramyd Air.

I always love your reviews. And I love your penetration test. But I think on paper 3 shots doesn't do a pellet. Justice, it's got to be 5 or more. I believe, so you can see the grouping. 3 is just not enough. But I still love your Videos

I usually shoot 5 shots groups - but the only reason I went to 3 shot groups on this video was to keep the length of the video down. Thanks for the positive comments. All 5-shot groups going forward. :-)

Thank you for responding back. Some people don't, but I do love your videos. They're probably some of the best.

Mike I can’t wait for your videos to come out. No fluff and honest opinions with demonstrated examples.
I just bought one and I have a question for you. Specifically what bottle would fit on it? I have a few FX bottles, is it the same threads? If I unscrew the fx valve can I screw this one in? Thanks for any help on this.

Thanks Eagle. Comments like yours really keep me going. :-)
The Airforce TalonP does Not have the same thread as the FX bottles. The FX bottles are a M18 x 1.5 thread, and the TalonP thread is something a little smaller. To use a larger bottle with M18 x 1.5 on the TalonP you will need to purchase an adaptor. I found the adaptor at talontunes.com/shop/talon-p-drop-down-adapter/ The cost is $95. I put a 580cc bottle on mine and it works great and more than doubled the shots and air capacity. Good Luck!

@@backyardairguns Mike thank you for helping me out on this and thank you again for the great videos. I know it’s not easy producing quality videos. I have to get some of those Seneca pellets and try them out. I didn’t even know they existed before your video. Wishing you a great year ahead.

I was getting 70+ fpe from the AirForce TalonP using the Seneca 43g pellets. I also use that pellet in my AEA 22 Cal Challenger Pro for critter (opossum) control. :-)
