Your cat is so funny I love how playful he is, trying to catch those side brushes. My cat just watches our robot vacuum from the distance and wondering what it is.
This was really a good comprehensive review which made me order my first Robot Vac, Excited to start using this especially with me not able to keeping up with all the cat hair building up in areas...
Our Freo Z won’t map house correctly, app won’t edit map correctly and it has issues going from hardwood onto a thin rug. We just got a Dreame X40 Ultra to try, and so far it perfectly mapped house, allows editing in app that actually works if needed and its doing great first time cleaning. I like that it drops the mop pads at base station during vacuuming.
@@vacuumnerds does your map work? Did it map correctly, are you able to edit map like adding divider or resize rooms? I have heard from others saying the app won’t work, thus if map is wrong, robot can’t clean accurately or you can’t send it to a certain room or zone, which is frustrating. Our robot could have glitch, but app issues would be global.
So I stayed away from the previous model because it didn't have the self emptying dust bin and it didn't have a on board tank in the vacuum. This looks great, my biggest gripe about my Roborock is it can't identify chords. This really looks incredible. I'm scared to ask how much it costs
There is a pre-registration link below with no commitment, but Narwal is offering a significant discount before it launches. I think around $1000, but they haven’t told me the launch price. It’s a very good robot. It may become my home robot next.
Great review! BTW, can you confirm that when robot detects liquid - the main roller brush is being lifted? I can't find this information regarding if Z Ultra has the feature to lift the main roller brush...
Would you say the freo z ultra is better overall than the eufy s1? Have mostly hard floors which would you recommend? Thanks for the information in advance!
How long it lasts really depends on how often you maintain it. You need to clean the filters every 30 days and replace them every few months. A corded will have more power, but is less convenient.
It's very, very close. I have not tested them back to back. I need to use the Narwal for a month or 2 before I decide. I will say the Narwal has impressive obstacle avoidance.
Can i just pour my liquid solution into the bucket if the Narwal bottle is empty? Because original solution is so expensive. How much do dust bags cost?
There’s no replacement for a normal vacuum, but robots do a pretty good job in between regular vacuuming. If you have a lot of carpet, I still recommend a plug in vacuum to properly clean. Robots are amazing little time savers though.
Hi, there is no water tank on the robot, does it come back to the base often to add water to the mop pads? And does it have LED light to vacuum in the dark environment?
It comes back to the base station to re-wet the mops automatically. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and it actually uses quite a bit of water if your floor is dirty. I rotate through robovacs every couple months, and so far I've been quite impressed by this one. Currently it's at the top of the heap. Yes, it has an LED to help it see in dark.
@@vacuumnerdsget the auto-refill/drain water station!!! I hooked mine up to my OG Narwal and it's a MASSIVE game changer! My Z Ultra arrives tomorrow and is supposed to be compatible with the same station 🤩
I forgot to update! It IS compatible! And it's still a huge game changer! I haven't touched my robot in weeks, save for the occasional Twist Tie my son's cat bats around, and the occasional base station cleaning and pad-changing!
@@vacuumnerds thank you , I have 6 kids and I really need something that can handle the rough work I had the ECOVACS T20e and I did have bad experience with it
I will say my Eufy X10 Pro Omni has the same design and features with taking pictures of the objects it runs into and goes around it in further cleanings
Eufy X10 Pro Omni? I’ve got one too. It doesn’t detect pet poop and left a mess all over my floor. Super frustrating… The Narwal Freo Z Ultra looks awesome though, might swap out the Eufy for it.

Love this vacuum! Excited to see how it is received by the masses!
Definitely. I like it a lot! This is a big step up for Narwal.
So basically it has eyes! You'd want your cleaner to have eyes so this is awesome
This was really a good comprehensive review which made me order my first Robot Vac, Excited to start using this especially with me not able to keeping up with all the cat hair building up in areas...
I've started using this as my home robot since the review. I've been very happy with it so far.
@@vacuumnerdsI have question could you guys make it go head to head with the Dreame X40 Ultra? Like a comparison video?
Looks freaking awesome. Will look to replace our EcoVacs Omni X1 with this when it kicks the can. Thanks a lot for your testing and video!
The black one looks slick
I have the black one and it is SLICK!! Never seen a better looking robot vacuum!

Glitches can happen sometimes. Been extremely happy with my Z so far.

Hello - yes Narwal confirms that the main roller will lift.

They are really, really close. I haven't used the Freo Z enough yet to come to a solid conclusion, but the Freo Z has better obstacle avoidance.
On voit pas trop ce qu'il donne dans les angles par rapport a un x40
Corded stick vacuums or cordless stick vacuums? Which is more efficient and long-lasting?

Very close.
@@vacuumnerds that doesn’t say much. Are you planning to do a comparison video between the two?

Tough to call right now. I need to use the Narwal for a couple months to really decide. It’s definitely a strong candidate.
Can i just pour my liquid solution into the bucket if the Narwal bottle is empty? Because original solution is so expensive. How much do dust bags cost?
I'm not sure on the bag cost yet, but I would expect they will be priced similar to other Narwal bags. Amazon will have the most current prices.
Are all these things really vacuums or just carpet sweepers?
