India is rapidly expanding its expressways and highways network through the 'Bharatmala Pariyojana'. Government will spend Rs 3 trillion on Phase 2 of the project which according to the new deadline will likely be finished with the phase 1 in 2027.

South have already good infrastructure . South have ports, airports. But north India doesn't have ports that's the reason they need good expressway and also most population near ganga river

Tamilnadu urgently need expressway ..so called activist's are opposing important expressway like chennai -selam. South also getting many expressway like Bengalore- chennai, pune- Bengalore, Cittor-Trachur, Surat- chennai, Hydrabad - vijaywada etc. North India also getting good port connectivity through EDFC AND WDFC but Maharashtra as well as India need vadhavan port in Maharashtra.

Govt.should build expressways in orissa, bihar, jharkhand and northeast states. We need 100000 km high quality expressways.
