Good idea, but, be careful adding heat to holographic film. First, Heat can damage the plastic film and the holographic design. Second, if you use heat to flatten the holographic film, make sure you let it cool for well over an hour. Otherwise, you can create a heat mat effect and a flash cure of the resin.
Very pretty! I have done similar free form bowls but with clear vinyl. In addition, I used a thick piece of rope to make a circle the size of the bowl I wanted under the vinyl to contain the resin then poured the resin, added the glass or rock edging. It's a bit easier as far as clean up goes. When ready to drape, i put a piece of plastic over the vase and draped the bowl over it, top side down. Then it is just a matter of waiting once I like the folds for it to cure. 😊
I never use my bowls for fruit. The possible decaying of the fruit or acids from fruit can possibly break down the resin over time. Even if resin says food safe, I never use bowls for storage displays of real fruit.
I love this so much it looks like amber!!!! Can you reuse the window vinyl? I watched the blue bowl video and you said DON'T use the small crushed glass and only the big crushed glass, has that changed?
There is a layer on the privacy film you can remove…have you tried removing that layer just before draping to make draping easier? I haven’t tried this but wondering if you or anyone else has. Ty btw for such a great video.
Elizabeth, this is a beautiful bowl. Love it.
Thank you!
Thank you! Please make some more bowls! I love them!
Another beautiful bowl. Love the color
Thank you very much!
To remove the wrinkles from the window film, use a hair dryer or heat gun on the lowest setting, and smooth out the film while still warm.

do you put anything on the privacy film to make it easier to remove?
The resin has to say on the bottle. Also need to let it air-out for one month to be totally safe.
Nothing needed on the privacy film to release the resin. Please watch the entire video, all is explained there. Good luck!

I watched the blue bowl video and you said DON'T use the small crushed glass and only the big crushed glass, has that changed?
Yes, you can reuse the vinyl. Clean with som masking tape and roll it up.
You can use either type of glass. Each gives a different look.
Por favor me podrías explicar cuál es el componente que le pones yo sigo todos tus tutoriales
Hi!
Which components are you looking for? The pigments?
There is a layer on the privacy film you can remove…have you tried removing that layer just before draping to make draping easier? I haven’t tried this but wondering if you or anyone else has. Ty btw for such a great video.
So beautiful! I don't know if I would have that kind of patience! And definitely not the talent you have.
En Español resina Ay B el Blus se que es por favor❤❤❤
Put the privacy film on the outside!
The design shows through. Always works this way. 😎
@@ElizabethLeighArts Well, if it works I wouldn’t want you to experiment. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Try mixing longer and make sure that the temperature in your room is at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit
Some of the privacy film has a color to it, such as flowers in the design. Does that matter, or does the film have to be clear?
I have only used clear holographic. If you try it with colored privacy film, please let me know how it works!
Lots of adds too long ones whyyyyyyyy
