Katie and Ben opened up about how they got pregnant at 19 and how they learned to prioritize their marriage in order to make it to where they are today. They now have a thriving marriage, three beautiful children and have built a social media following around their adorable family and relationship. We hope you enjoy this episode!

It’s so crazy when two families/channels you watch collaborate - I always feel like I’m watching a Disney show crossover!

As someone who watched this because I am a religious viewer of Katie And Bens, this could not have portrayed them better. I have followed them since ella was a couple months old and I thoroughly love seeing them and their family go through life

I’ve been following Ben and Katie since their first vlogs, the maturity they’ve displayed throughout their relationship amazes me, I am mid 30s and honestly they are heaps better at life than I am, their take on life it’s truly impressive.
Katie’s parents are salt of the earth people. Smart, and excellent parents. Parenthood is hard at any age. Support is what was needed, and modelling a healthy relationship. I think they did that.
I have been watching them since 2019 and I’m so happy they’re getting the recognition they deserve! They’re goals!
Please tell me why as soon as Katie and Ben came onto the camera for the first shot I started crying how beautiful they look my god they’re like literally my favourite people in the entire planet.
They really are the most beautiful and humbled couple. I’ve watched many RUclips families but none of them compare to Katie and Ben. Their beauty, maturity, and parenting is all so unmatched.
They’re so mature, smart, professional, and humble. Seriously loved seeing this podcast and hearing them talk so much about their experiences.
My husband and I have been together 26 yrs ( longer than these two have been alive) and married for 21 yrs and I feel like Ben and Katie are YEARS ahead of me! They are the two wisest kids I know! I literally learn from these two! They are amazing as a couple and parents. And Katie’s parents are just as amazing and surely where they got so much from. Ben is THE BEST dad!! His mom was surely wrong. And Jesus shown so brightly thru Katie’s parents and showed his grace thru them and these two are ultimately a product!
I learned raising my kids to be brutally honest so they knew I was talking from experience. They know the good the bad and the ugly. I am so glad I did. They have not made the same mistakes that I did. I broke a cycle!
i've followed Katie and Ben for so many years and I'm so happy they're getting the exposure they deserve. Genuinely great people and even better parents.
I have to leave this comment before I started watching this video. I have been on the Katie and Ben support train since Ella was 1. I have never fallen in love with a family and a set of two individuals more in my entire life. During Covid was a very hard time for me and one of the things that made me so incredibly happy and gave me excitement and something to look forward to was there RUclips videos. I can’t even describe what it is that the family has done for me, but it has been something absolutely life-changing. I love what they’ve done in the sense of being comfortable, sharing their families life with us, allowing those to watch their children grow, and I get so excited for their wins, their accomplishments, and the things that happened in their life. They’ve been very inspiring to me and I am so incredibly happy that more people get to learn about this amazing couple in family and I’m so excited to listen to this.

We had our first when I was just 17. We married. I got my degrees; he started a company. We had a big family, also fostering, and stayed married until my husband passed away at only 45.
My fav episode yet. I’ve been watching Ben and Katie since they started their channel and it’s been so awesome watching them grow together!
I love watching Ben and Katie on their channel. Ben is such a great husband and father.
My husband and I met when he was 19 and I was about a month away from turning 19. We got married within three months of being together. Like two days before we would’ve been together for three months we got married. We spent a lot of time together, learning everything that we could possibly know about the other person. it was like we were called to be together as what we both agreed on that it felt like. I can relate when Katie talks about how Ben needed to mature and grow. My husband and I were raised similarly to them like I was raised in a very good positive home, and my husband was raised in a hands-off sort of home. So watching this was like watching my husband and I and it just affirmed to me that we aren’t alone in our struggles as a young couple. We are both turning 25 this year and we are absolutely loving everything about it💛 what
Shawn and Andrew thank you for this video, after watching it I did go and watch some of Katie and Ben's videos, I then came back and watched this video again! They display maturity and wisdom way above their ages and I think they put many people "older and supposedly wiser" to shame. Being able to work through the unexpected pregnancy and the wildly divergent advice they were being given was amazing. Katies answer that becoming pregnant in their situation was a blessing bought a broad smile to my face, what a great attitude and vision.
Ben and Katie are my all time favorite youtubers. I got pregnant with my son at 19 (had him at 20). I found their channel during my pregnancy and haven’t missed a video since 3 years later. Katie is everything and more than I aspire to be and Ben is an INCREDIBLE dad. So so so much love for their family💝
I have five kids with my husband and we have been together for 9 years. We don’t always go out and we make a plan to have date night one night a week. Date night is the most important thing. It keeps your relationship alive.
Getting married that young is so common in our church group. ♡ I didnt lol I waited and glad I did, but my friends are happy with 4kids and more some of them! I got married at 27 to someone I'd know since I was 13yrs old. It was a huge adjustment at my age much less at these ages!! God bless you for hanging in there guys!!!♡
My sister in law was pregnant before marriage as well at 19... her daughter is so sweet and 13yrs old now. ♡♡
I really enjoyed getting to know Katie & Ben on a deeper level. I always knew that they were awesome, but this just confirms it even more.

I have followed Katie and Ben since Ella was born. I related to them because my husband and I were 19, pregnant and unmarried...50 yrs ago. If there's love you'll make it through. These two remind me so much of the life we had. ❤ It was as easy as it was hard.
I have watched from the beginning. Very different life for me. Met and married a classmate but waited six years to have first child and four more for second daughter. Still married since 1976 and two girls married with their own children ❤

First time every hearing about Ben and Katie and wow!!! I got married at 17 and had my 1st baby 11 months later so feel I can relate with having kids and marrying young. You have to be willing to learn together as a team and as long as you are both committed full time it works. We will be celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary in May.
Love that I watch both of your families for a long while now ❤ 💕 glad to see you got to meet each other by you coming there and explaining your story of being young and pregnant can show other young couples they can raise their child and get married it's not easy but hard work in your relationship can make a strong marriage and make you Amazing parents to your children. I was a nurse for 34 years. I worked various departments including labor and delivery.
We had a 13 year old delivered and her parents took him and raised him. They made her sign all parental rights over to them. When she graduated high school, her son was in 1st grade. It blew my mind.
You guys are great hosts.

I agree more with Katie when they talked about how you only know if you would keep the baby if you were in that situation... like no its not like that for everyone some people just know and they aren't on the fence about it at all.

You should interview Pettit family or Wallace family in AZ. Both have over 16 kids each mainly through adoption and have amazing vlogs on parenting. Actually the moms are bio sisters . Both women and men are amazing parents and would be so fun to hear you interview them. They are crazy pieces and crazy middles on RUclips
