I’ve got to say I’ve come to a different understanding of her anger issues from hearing her speak of her early experiences a black model. Those experiences must make you defensive, and in the long term, possibly angry. HOWEVER we’re all entitled to redeem ourselves and she’s done the work. The last decade, she’s been celebrated for achievements, and in turn shown a softer side. Again a byproduct of finally feeling an acceptance and appreciation that her “white” peers received many moons before. Living legend.
