In this challenge video I try to complete The Next-Gen update of The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt Remastered without letting Geralt jump! And from that I learn that being able to travel up is just a state of mind.
The Witcher 3 has just had a next-gen update, thus I decided to do a quick video on it!
I remove the B button from my controller, which covers Geralt climbing, jumping, dodging, and getting off his horse. It also covers Geralt getting off a boat, but when would THAT be helpful!?
The Witcher 3 just got remastered, so I've decided to try a challenge video where I remove the B button from my controller, and thus Geralt never jumps, chaos ensues.

No no no, the medallion at the beginning is supposed to be doing that, cause, you know, it's a dream. And and it vibrates to sense magic, and sometimes danger, so it's warning him about the dream. All according to plan.
I love all those little details, i mean they didnt had to do it, but still took the time to put them into the game. And there is so many of them its insane the amount of work that went into this game

I loved the video and the humor and also wanted to say there's a few things you could've done to make yourself suffer less (wouldn't have been as funny):
- Roach can buck you off if she gets scared enough, so you could ride her to some nearby enemies and get thrown off
- the boat can get destroyed if it takes enough damage so you can just keep ramming it into things near the destination and it'll eject you when the boat sinks
I appreciate the dedication to draining your sanity for people's entertainment though
Finally someone else who had the same VERY REASONABLE good feeling about freeing the tree spirit
but its not a nightmare, right? lol
I mean, this was more a "Don't use the B button" challenge than a "Do not jump" challenge. None of those other things (except maybe vaulting up a surface to climb it) fall under jumping.
Would have been easier to do on the PC, just unbind the spacebar.

And your sword degrades in the dream sequence which somehow translates to the prologue. You can damage your sword to the point of it breaking just before you face your first enemies in the prologue

Geralt's long and loose hairstyle would legitimately just vibrate with the Nvidia hair physx option on, potentially alongside higher framerate. But even at lower FPS it just kinda.. buzzes around.
You know, the Wither 3 is the only game I never fast traveled in, I just walked everywhere. It was a nice experience, just long enough distances between each encounter or interesting thing to not make the walking boring.
Damn. Dang. Darn! Not a fan of the game, but WOW you did some great work. Kudos and thanks for a great video.

Not being able to swear at all is such a RUclips of a thing to do, but you did work out a pretty RUclips solution to the cave and the swearing problem!

Please just do the whole game like this. It's a masterpiece.

When I was a kid, I made the mistake of wearing sandals at a 4th of July party while using sparklers, and a rogue spark landed on my foot. It got stuck under the sandal strap so no amount of screaming and shaking my foot would dislodge it, until my friend's mom poured water on my foot to put it out. Legit the most painful thing I've ever experienced. I had a scar on my foot for years. So I can safely say your crap fact would have saved my foot from certain doom.
For a minute, I forgot this was a bit, and genuinely thought the remaster was THAT bad.
Ok so I might be a madman here but on my playthrough I hated roach controls so id rather just run everywhere unless its like on the other side of the continent. It was so much more fun because I could combat on the way without stopping and collect stuff. Best way to do this was to use the werewolf potions (I forgor the name). Yes I like fallout.

Alright. So something missed here. You can also chose to save the wife of the baron. But that makes all the orphans die. There's also a super secret way to save both. Which i won't go into here because of spoilers.

Remastering this game is like remastering the mona lisa. There was just no point. It was already beautiful (and still is) and it was already perfect. The epitome of "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

16:33 how come... in a game where the characters like geralt & ciri can do all kinda of amazing acrobatics & parkour like dodges etc in fights... when she falls down this very non steep, staircase of a waterfall, does ciri not make any attempt to do anything at all other that stay in the exact same position of lying there until she stops rolling? i think even an old granny falling down the stairs would at least make some attempt to save herself...
