I absolutely love Into the Wyrd & Wild. I’ve been using it in my Shadowdark campaign for a couple of months. Probably my favorite supplement that I’ve purchased this year.

It's one of the most masterfully-crafted works out there - every page of it oozes flavor and it all works together to create a very specific tone. It's amazing. I wish there were other books like that (besides Into the Cess and Citadel, which I find equally awesome).

Honestly, I just mostly go to dtrpg and sort by free/pay what you want. Then I'm on a couple Discord channels where people share what they're working on and/or kickstarters that are coming out. That's basically it! :)

One book I'll recommend is an independent artbook titled "Plants Nowhere To Be Found." It's a great little book that has dozens of illustrations of fantasy plants and fungi with little field note observations about them. And best of all the creators made their own written language to go with the book! Its called 'Rootish' and you can actually learn how to write it out if you're patient enough. It reads like traditional Ogham because the letters flow down a trail of roots from top to bottom.

I'm leading my campaign with the Black Wyrm of Bradonsford with this module being at the edge of Fae lands. So if my party is keen on Fae , off into the elfwoods they go, if not it's back south to civilized lands.
One of the potential modules for them to go to after this is probably Black Apple Brugh, The Necropolis of Nuromen and maybe Leprechaun Hollow.
Under the Moon dial is a beauty too , and I do Like the Hounds of Hendenburgh.
Three goblin markets just never grabbed me, though if my players decide to go to fae it might be a good set of encounters.
Judges guild did The Cloud Giants Castle. Yeah it was jack in the beanstalk like but really unplayable I found.
Willowby hall would be a nice insert.
Thanks again. Lots of great stuff here. I really appreciate the content.

Thanks for doing this, great idea! I'm doing exactly the same with my collection of RPGs. Really want to build from Dolmenwood with other things I have. It's the only way I'm going to get real use out of them!

@@RedMageGM Totally agree. Now in my 50s (52 next weekend, horror!) I find my time taken as a GM more consumed by trying to bring ideas created by others together into a (semi-) coherent whole than coming up with anything from scratch. There are so many great things out there it'd be a crime not to!

I'm loving the Fungi of the Far realms. I have a reskinned version of Into the Unknown, combined with the Judges Guild Module Trial by Fire and I leaned heavily into the mushroom room in Into the Unknown. I've got 49 different Fungi in there with 40% chance of them being food, 20% poisonous, 10% healing or potion ingredients, 5% neutralize poison, 25% neutral with no effect. Oh yeah and a couple Shriekers. I have planned out a few of the mushrooms but generally I planned to roll randomly for them. This book would allow me to inform the Mushroom room.
There is an elvish Herbology in the dungeon that has a small appendix on mushrooms which will accurately identify 5 of the mushrooms here. Again I could take pages straight from this book.
I also have a fairly complete drawing of the fungus garden scrawled on a wall with another set of partially legible notes. Again partial information on the mushrooms and fungi here.
Got the sorcerors enclave, the pictures are very evocative and I'm upgrading my wizards homunculi as a result.

People put Barrowmaze in because it fits perfectly in hex 1504. Gavin himself also recommends Barrowmaze for there. I know people who have put Castle Xyntillian in place of Hoarblight Keep. Though I prefer your method for using it, since Hoarblight really feels very fae like. Id love to see a full list of things you use when you make it.

🧡as always, my friend. Love the idea of you doing videos more honed in on specific themes like this. As for the Jack & The Beanstalk thing, wouldn't it be pretty easy to throw the Mausritter stuff up in the sky and running them as is? Perhaps tone down or reflavor the amount of other talking animals stuff if you don't want to put giant owls and cats proportional to a giant's dwelling, but it seems like a very low mental impact way of accomplishing a good story in that vein.

There isn't a store-front for it yet, cause it's still technically in pre-release. The links on the kickstarter page can take people to pre-orders though.

@@RedMageGM I tried that, but unfortunately they haven't set up pre-orders yet. The "pre-order" link in the Kickstarter takes you to BackerKit, which asks you for your KS email to retrieve your survey. If you didn't back the KS, you hit a wall. Just thought you might save your viewers some frustration if you made a note against the link.
