But I want to load my favourite cartoon too
You see at this animated film is:
Epic music intro
a variety of characters at superheroes

interesting plot filled with an action and humour, good duels, excellent animation and many other things
and they have their own ghoul
Wow! I never realized just how mature and adult this show was. I mean what a way to start a series.
So 90s, my body magically became covered in guns and pouches.
Dont forget the Rob leifeld muscle upgrade and anatomy screw ups.
I was in college, in the 90s..Awesome cartoons, Spider Man, X Men,... BEAST WARS.!!!
And a headset to show your really serious.
That was the golden age of cartoon shows.
70s 80s were the bomb, though..
The best part about this cartoon is that this is an excellent adaptation: the comics were exactly as fucked up as this.
this was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. I didnt know anything about Shazam put Prime I thought was a cool concept of a kid turning into an adult superhero.

Let's see this roster: we have Ghoul who looks like something straight out of the toxic crusaders, Prototype who is basically like Ironman but with electrical powers, Topaz who is xena/wonder woman, Hardcase who looks like doc Samson but with blond hair and can fly, Contrary who looks like Emma frost, has storms costume on and hovers around in a chair like professor X, and Prime who is the hulk/captain marvel combined
I would say that's an accurate assessment.
Prototype is like Iron Man. The woman with short blonde hair sounds like Jubilee and the super villain boss (Attalon King of the Fire People) sounds like Magneto from the 90's X-Men Animated Series.
Seems that way. But reading the comics, they take something that looks like a familiar ripoff and turns it upside down. At the time, it was great!
Peter Profesta You forgot Hardcase, who's based on Wonderman. Seriously, though, back in the 90's the twists that Malibu did for the characters made them more unique, especially considering the darker tone of the story (Hardcase's PTSD, Kevin's angst, Contrary's real intentions, etc.)
Wrong on all fronts. Hardcase can't fly, simularities in characters is nothing new, but these characters had original twists and actually deep, human characterization. Prime is more like captain marvel (shazaam) but MUCH more interesting.
I remember the comics, but don't remember if I saw this show, & how much. Thanks.

I never heard of this show, or the comic book this was based on. I lived in a time where Batman, X-men, TMNT, WildCats and just about every comic book based cartoon series dominated kids TV, and somehow this slipped through the cracks.

This is way better than I thought it would be. I remember seeing a bit of this as a kid but I never knew what it was and only tracked it down today for the first time since I was a kid
Marvel as the right for the comic version and they f#ck it up when they got it in the 90s even when they did crossover with Prime and Hulk and other Characters I wish they brought back Ultraverse Reboot it are something the Characters has so much potential that is not shown

I love Marvel and Ultraforce is definitely one I enjoyed. As an aspiring comic book artist I draw lots of stuff. If I worked at Marvel/Disney I'd revive it. The Ultraverse is considered a Marvel Earth

@@SirStrangefolk Well Prime is just a "Gamma Shazam" with a body secretion chaser. Topaz is a female Thor. Prototype and the rest are ALL too similar to existing franchises currently hitting the airwaves. The common consensus is that even in the best case scenario, the Malibu Universe of Superheroes would split the existing potential consumer base between the Malibu diehards and the Marvel returnees. It's considered more risk than reward probably.
@@metalspinda9594 But surely they wouldn't outright ban any use of the properties only for that, especially after this long. There are plenty of extremely similar characters within Marvel that can happily coexist and they are fine with introducing many legacy characters and variants of existing heroes. There has to be some kind of greater legal issue as to why they can't be used. Some people at Marvel have said as much.

I think I recalled seeing this on USA Network back then. I was visiting San Antonio at that time during Spring Break and I change it after Power Rangers. Shame the Ultraforce comics and the cartoon didn't last that long due to bad toy sales and heavy popularity of Power Rangers.
The real reason it didn't last long is because Marvel bought out Malibu.
Why was Malibu Comics discontinued?
Because of Marvel, that's why.
The Ultraforce will never see the light of day(unless you got Tubi) ever again.
There's a little boy who is temporarily all grown up, ready to be a Superman-like superhero. Faster (and more powerful than) speeding bullets and a locomotive; he's able to leap anything in a single bound, let alone a tall building.
A parody that spoofs the man of steel, he's Prime.
Miss that show.😢
I wish there was more to this series than 13 episodes.
Also you never find out what happened to Prime’s father after the first episode.

I wish Marvel had never bought the Ultraverse characters; they haven't done anything with them in decades and, due to nebulous legal reasons that they've never disclosed to the public, they probably never will.
Marvel has shelved the ultraverse.

The opening is almost exactly like that of the 90s "X-Men" cartoon; shots of the characters "doing their thing", then their name appears in a giant logo. Shitty theme song, however.

@@greato80 Well, it's because WildC.A.T.s was made by the same guy who used to penciled X-Men before leaving Marvel.
@@The_Husband_of_Jane_Lane ..i know Lee worked on X-Men and created their iconic designs. Him,leifeld,mcfarlane, few others left Marvel and created Image Comics.
That kid prime needs to stop showboating or else civilians get killed. Being a hero isn't about fame, it's about helping people.

In his comics he did learned about not showboating the hard way when he turned into his dark half as HEEL PRIME aka ROGUE PRIME but he did turn back to normal prime before his final battle most likely

But in his world his powers also turned him into a SPACE PRIME when he was close to kicking a bad guys butt from the moon to the sun and later in comicbook stories he once joined forces with wolverine and the x-men for his battle against an evil Phoenix force in the 90s and that was most likely the last of him and his hero career
@@tiga92001 I remember those days. In almost every single superhero show or comic someone had to learn a tough lesson. I remember watching fox kids back in the day and two episodes of spiderman that really stuck to me. One involved a kid around 13 and he actually built a high tech skateboard. Kid nearly did something with his smarts. The other involved a little girl. She and a cab driver actually saved Peter from doc oc. It's the ending of the episode that gets to me,because the poor girl didn't have much time.

The fact that this is Earth-95132 in the Marvel universe. This means that the ultraforce could find the inifinity stones.
Well, that pretty much was the last run of the Ultraverse when they got brought out.
So when hard case was fighting enemy right when prime showed up he blocked two energy blasts with his wrists but got shot with one in the chest and got sent flying 🤔
The bracelets did that and he has superhuman durability but he not invulnerable

the Ultra universe is long dead Marvel Comics bought out Malibu Comics many moons ago with a storyline wiping out the Ultras from existence

Its my first time seeing this.i used to read prime. I find the comics. This is ok but it's a little tacky and cheesy. The story line is not great but maybe it will grow on me. It starts off with a monster attacking nucular missle plants....is that what they said. We don't even know why or who they arr

If I recall correctly, Jim Lee has nothing to do with Ultraforce and has nothing to do with Ultraverse and never worked for Malibu Comics.
The ONLY connection was that Image Comics had a DISTRIBUTION deal with Malibu Comics...until Malibu started using Image Comics to promote thier own shit, resulting in them terminating the deal. That's it. None of the Image guys had anything to do with the creation of any of Malibu's properties.

Outside of that it's a bit of a haphazzard story. Not the worst but not great. The scene where truckasaurus eats the guy's friend went overlong, only for Truckasaurus to immediately show up and fight the guy but in the present.
