Hello fellow adventurers,
Join me and my buddy Chris on this epic 42 mile trail at Savage Gulf State Park in Tennessee. This was my first real backpacking trip in TN and I fell in love with the area. This hike took place June 4-7, 2023.

Great video! I love watching new people hike this park. I guess i was lucky growing up close to this place where i made all my first rookie mistakes in backpacking and hiking. Greeter falls and ranger falls are both great falls. There's a spring at hobbs cabin and its worth the time to see. Joe hobbs built it over a hundred years ago! Yall crossed over the historic stage road that is very cool to see also. This park is best in late fall to spring. Summer is very dry and lots of spiders across the trail. Theres tons of great places to see in TN. Big southfork, firey gizzard, honey loop trail, the smokeys.

Summers in TN are dry. Those river flow well in the winter
Hey Jessie 👋 I bet so. Even in June, you could tell that water had been flowing there not too long ago. Lots of slick rocks covered in smooth mud. Such a great trail.. would love to experience it during peak fall season! 🍂 🍁 Thanks for checking out the video!
