I'm very excited by this new Rangey, even if it will be a long time before it will be available in a mini size for me to actually buy. Anyways, it looks amazing. G-shock really is the watch industry's final hope against the evil smart watch empire. In bocca al lupo! Best regards, TGV
So from what I get is there's a primary and secondary battery? Solar and rechargeable? If i want to use only solar and hardly use the cable and smart features, will I still need to plug in? Will solar charge the lot? Also the app needs more customisation for notifications. Instead of getting every bit of information your phone has pop up.
You know that this is the GBD-H2000 system with a different casing? So its a system coming from a watch for people doing sports... Also, you can change the main screen to a different display I guess.
a standard g shock with an outdated monochrome display for 500 euros? Sorry no! Why has Casio only been doing product maintenance for almost 30 years? module in umpteen versions.. That's all. Casio once stood for innovation! Spoiled with success, Casio has missed the connection to the smartwatch! Casio should have invented the smartwatch. And now? still no color displays, still largely poor lighting thanks to LEDs, no new products, just standard or outdated things. Where are the innovations? And prices like that too! For 500 euros you can get a Mil-hr smartwatch that can do much more!! One more thing, Casio has had a barometer in Pro Trek for decades, and then finally after ages in the Gshock. But it still can't show weather developments. Weather symbols? None. So easy, any cheap weather watch can do it. Casio can't. Strange. But in 50 versions of each module. Bravo... (ps. I had the very first Casio and also the very first Gshock. So I know what I'm talking about. Think about it. And get off your high horse. That's enough..
There are 2 horrible mistakes in this watch on my humble opinion: 1. RESINE CASE, instead of a TITANIUM case. 2. The SOLAR CHARGE should guarantee, at least, the TIME FUNCTIONS + V3 SENSOR FUNCTIONS so, when the battery is about to run out of energy, you still have the same functions as in a Rangeman 9400 or a MUDMAN 9500, for example. I don't know why CASIO does these thigns... I love the brand but..., they seem stubborn in pushing people into brands like Garmin.
@@omanimitokanimi7976 On my humble opinion, Casio has got a wrong approach on this watch. If your strong point is the shock resistance, do it better. If this watch is intended for those who want autonomy, do it, even at expenses of some smart watch functions, because there are already brands with more experience on than you. I think they have recycled the module of the H2000, and this is a huge mistake. They should have guaranteed, at least, the solar powered autonomy of the TIME FUNCTION + V3 SENSOR FUNCTIONS. So, once your battery has run out, you can still use this watch as a survival watch in the forest or wherever. Same price, lower navigation functions and probably even lower autonomy than a Garmin Instinct Solar X2 IS NOT A GOOD BUSINESS. But all this is just my point of view. I recently bought my first G-SHOCK and it's the 9400 Rangeman, and i did it having present the new model.

The best addition here is definitely the MIP display but too bad we have to charge this one 😔
If you want a small version, you can try the GBD-H1000, its the same system with a smaller case and wrist-band.
Good that Casio write "New Rangeman" as this should be called GBD-H3000 🤷
If Casio makes it fully tough solar, I will buy it.
It is
Please put more MIP display in regular G-shock
On my way to buy this Watch for my dad.
The metal protection they added to the sides makes this watch look so cool 🔥
no MApping? read file GPX for navigation??
is worth for the price??

When Casio plans to launch NFC Payments in their G-Shock watches? That’s the way where you will have no real competitors. Even Garmin.
For that kind of price i would expect a color screen like garmin -_-
Please stop adding the smart watch features... None of us buy gshocks to track our steps!
🙏🙏🙏🙏

Beautiful design , what if g shock adds the online payment system inside the watch would be perfect
Good

Incredible that solar charging can only power time display, makes this totally worthless compared to something like Garmin Instinct 2X.
Oh well.

The battery lasts for many days of activity. Just charge the watch once a week and youll be fine. I dont get whats so hard for you...
@@raviormetal1653 That's not what many people feel a Rangeman should be... If you don't have electricity, you have a potato on the wrist...
Dope 🔥
いいねえ👍
Gut.
Bad design.... The GW-9400 is much cooler
