Was bit hesitant to buy these due to having issues with midfoot width in training shoes but scored a pair half price!! Very comfortable cushioning but also very stable for lifting tried in both heavy leg sessions and hiit classes did very well in both. No issues with width since there was no tpu sidewalls or guards in the midfoot region. Thanks for this video review prob wouldnt have considered trying them out!
I need a pair of training shoes that I can wear all day. Because my workplace is very close to my home and the gym (15 minutes away), I always walk to the gym after get off work and then walk back home. Is this shoes suitable for me?
I use the same pair of shoes for cross training , light weight lifting , and dance/ aerobics .. reign 4 is a pair I am using right now and it works well .. should I upgrade to reign 6 or this one?
So... funny story... I purchased the UFC version of this shoe, and guess what?... The booty-style upper isn't there. The pictures on the website sure look like they should be that style, but in-hand, there's just a regular non-gusseted tongue. Not sure if this helps or hurts the shoe overall, but I actually like the booty-style shoe construction and was looking for something comparable with my Free Metcon 4's. That being said, they're definitely not hard to get on or off, so if that was a turn-off for some, go with the UFC BSR 4. (I'd post pics if I could.)
Lmaooo wtf. I wonder why they did that and if fighters complained so they made a tradition tongue? Wild they’re selling them without pics to depict that. Good looks, dude!
@@thatfitfriend - Yeah, if I had to venture a guess, it would be the need for the actual fighters to get them on and off more easily. Still... it should reflect that on the website. From the actual website description: "Bootie design for superior fit, comfort & security". 😆
These look like the original Nike Free X Metcon which were my favorite cross training shoe. How do they compare and what’s the closest shoe to the free X metcon?
More chunky sole, but I see what you're saying! These will give you a little more stability. Adidas Rapidmove is kind of similar but there aren't many models that replicate that shoe's sole flexibility and upper feel. It was pretty unique!
When you rock your 7.5s if you have less than a half a finger's length (thickness of finger, not length LOL) at the end of your toe box, then I'd go up to 8! If you have about a fingers width, then go down to 7
Can someone explain this. I bought this shoes recently, For weight training this are really suitable for grip qnd stability. While on treadmill, after few minutes my feet start hurting. It is same feeling as nike mc trainer which i have been using over 2 years.
May be that the shoes run dense for your preferences and maybe the lasts don't work. These and the MC can run a little narrow, do you feel like your foot feels constrained?
Hey man, do you recommend runners or trainers for general sport playing and lifting? I'm looking for something that I can use regularly for training/sport and casual wear at an affordable price. Specific recommendations are also welcome. Thanks

@@shaunchang-time6698 heck yeah! Love hearing it
I had the first couple iterations of this model and liked them. May have to give these a try. Thanks for the review.
They're the best model to date, imo!
@@thatfitfriend - Ordered a pair on Saturday... stay tuned!
@@capt1941 ayyy let’s go!
honestly now that the medium price for a trainer is $150 these seem to be pretty and could perform well good for $100. how breathable is the upper?
It's middle of the road with breathability. Nothing crazy impressive but also not a red flag type of shoe!
Here in the UK you can get the project rock 6 for £70. I was hoping this one will be cheaper, but it's more... 😏
I do both cardio and training together what should i buy
How much cardio in terms of mileage per session?

Yeah, they should be fine, imo! Good price point for that, too
Oh lucky me I just got these on sale :D

If you like the flatter feel, I'd go Reign 6.
What under armour shoes would you recommend for walking with good stability? I have a high arch, Thanks!
Reign 5 would be a good option, imo!

I'd go trainers.
TriBase Reign 6, Adidas Dropset Trainer 2, or Mizuno TS 01 could be good options!
This or nanoflex v2 for begginer at gym ? Weightlifting, some kettlebell exercise
Either or! Go with best colorway and price for your needs. Both will work
Bsr 4 or teibase 6
Reign 6
