Bradley Walden didn't replace Jonny Craig. He only accepted an offer from an amazing band that wanted to keep making music. Like any semi successful artist fights for their whole career. Jonny Craig is one of a kind and nobody will ever come close to his style and magnitude of vocals. Everybody already knows that. Emarosa is just evolving like most bands do after two or three albums. I will always respect and back this band no matter what they do. It isn't just a front man that makes a band. The near perfect arrangement behind these singers make it possible for them to do what they. If the guys behind the instruments in Emarosa weren't there, we wouldn't have the bad ass songs we have from them now. Be grateful this group of guys found each other. Period. Thank you Emarosa. Keep doing what you are doing.
I can't be the only one that absolutely hates Rise's new end of video ads. They wouldn't bother me so much if they didn't play a different song! It absolutely kills the momentum of the actual song the video is promoting. In this one, we get Emarosa delivering one of their best songs in years. Bradley Walden shows why he's great for the band and the instrumentation being just as on point as the self title album with the memorability of Relativity. This coming from basically a Jonny Craig fanboy, Walden absolutely slays almost anything Craig has done in Slaves and completely decimates his Find What You Love and Let It Kill You EP. It's all so amazing... and then Sleeping With Sirens comes in and ruins it all. Basically, I'd love this song more if Kellin Quinn didn't pop in and whine at me at the end.
God I love the way his voice drops in the opening, haven't even heard 30 seconds of it and im in love. I can tell this new collab is gonna evolve and be bad ass forever ♡ it!
Favourite track off the new album. Their louder songs are a little boring and generic, but the slower stuff like this really shows off Bradleys vocals which are amazing.
I love this way better than the old stuff. I listened to the other albums & I love this album way better than all the other ones . Can say Emarosa is one of my favorite bands now 💕
I recently found this band and I've listened to some of their songs from I believe each album and change is a good thing guys c: lets just enjoy the fact they are still around
I'd really hate to be that guy because I love sws (don't lie, most of you like them too), but why put that song after the brilliance of what I just experienced here.
I really like where emarosa is going, I mean the past should stay dead. So if you guys could just be glad that they're back and enjoy what they put out that'll be great
I feel like I just got the joke, even though it may not even be an intended pun at all. Wasn't there a song on Relativity called Even Bad Men Love Their Mothers? And now Bradley is the new bad guy. I'm digging it
Definitely recommend. Check the reimagined version of this EP out too. The band I've been obsessed with in the last year is Erra... Totally different but yea lol. Also Idlehands
why does everyone have to compete with jonny craig when he leaves another band. i think we can agree that both bradley walden and jonny are great singers
How can anyone honestly say this is better than any of their old stuff? Seriously...I'm not saying it's bad at all, I actually love Bradley's voice, I just don't understand how any old fans of this band can say this new cd is better than Relativity.
I think some people are just impressed that Emarosa didn't tie themselves to the sinking ship that would have been hey-lets-try-and-be-exactly-the-same-band-even-though-Jonny's-gone. The new stuff feels very... well, new. and that's cool and exciting that bands still do that. That's how I feel, anyway. I feel really endeared to emarosa for truly growing and evolving their style closer into probably what they really envisioned to begin with. Just some thoughts!
Well, to me, as a great singer as Jonny was, his voice got boring after a while. He can sing really well, but he's doing the same bends over and over again. Bradley seems to put much more passion and variety into his singing and I just prefer his voice anyway. Not sure about live performances, though. Videos don't do them justice and I'll probably never see them live, only if I travel all the way to the good old USA. Musically I liked the self-titled album the most. Bottom line is talent won't disappear and these guys sure have a lot.
To actually answer the question, imo, this album is like the collection of the best and worst Emarosa-songs, but the good ones (which outnumber the not so good ones) are so magical and perfectly written, it's just insane. Their stuff with Jonny is also amazing and I love all of it for what it is, but it feels like the songs were written around Jonny's voice and for that reason, every song, especially on Relativity, melts together and gets boring compared to this. This time around, the music had a lot of space to grow. No boundaries, no stuck-up asshole behavior from the singer. BTW even this is boring compared to Emarosa.
I love and miss jonny craig but I gotta say....this new guy is a hell of a good fit in emarosa. Im okay with jonny working with slaves and bradley taking over the role in emarosa. I was a little hesitant to listen to thier new stuff but I love this song.
Emarosa >>>>>>> sws or any post hardcore band. Honestly, they don't get the credit or fame that they deserve, and I think it's time that they do. Like/share this video and their other songs and spread the word about how amazing they are, you'd be doing the world a huge favor! c:
+RetroDeath Reviews Yeah, unfortunately, lots of post-hardcore scene is still sucking the dicks of SWS / Pierce the Veil ever since the release of King for a Day. Not that they're bad, but their explosion in popularity a couple years ago is still overshadowing all the other good bands.
***** That's what I'm saying. Haha. Probably because of some asshole who works at the label wants a little side cash or just can't wait for it to release. :p
This feels a bit Circa Survive-ish and I don't know why. Not a bad thing at all. And Jonny Craig was a great fit for Emarosa but this singer is pretty great too.
kinda disapointed with this album :/ ive only listened to all the songs once since they have been released. but this one and mad are the only ones that i actually really like. the rest sound all the same to me.
dunno if it was this song, but yes, he was supposed to be on the album. When I asked, he told me stuff came up and he never had the time to record the feature.
The second his voice came in i was blown away, couldn't have picked anyone better to replace johnny. Can't wait to listen to the rest.
Great comment. So true.
+Simple TechTips U guys are dammed Tillian isnt shit compared to Johnny all hes done his entire career is chase the bands Johnny leaves
This isnt Tillian though, you are thinking of Dance Gavin Dance.
nah i miss johnny. he's better imo
This song is so gorgeous. I'm getting chills.
I just love modern rock these days. It's crazy how this genre isn't so popular. Maybe that's actually a really good thing.
it's a hidden gem of a genre when done properly
I absolutely love Jonny Craig, but I was pleasantly surprised with how well Bradley picked things up. Love the new stuff!
Bradley Walden didn't replace Jonny Craig. He only accepted an offer from an amazing band that wanted to keep making music. Like any semi successful artist fights for their whole career. Well Bradley is actually a good human being and Jonny is a dirtbag, so there's that.
This is so gorgeous.
Can't say it better.
Loved this song for so long, it’s so underrated and so is this band x
Bradley's easily Emarosa's best vocalist; I hope he's here to stay!
The attitude and feel of this is fucking perfect.
I can't be the only one that absolutely hates Rise's new end of video ads. They wouldn't bother me so much if they didn't play a different song! A bit of Journey 1:57
Perfect.
Haha it is!
I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HEARD THAT YES!!
OH MY GOD WHAT. SEPERATE WAYS WHAT.
Also a bit of Michael Jackson in the beginning :p
That's what I was thinking when I heard it xD
Does anybody else hear a little Journey in the "Broken in two" part? That's great
I thought i was the only one that heard it lol
@@laurasofia14 vu2ueh1lhsjyehwhbajzjd
Holy shit thanks it has been driving me insane
Everytime I find a new favourite band I'm so exited... I just listen all of their song until I get sick of them...
such talent
favourite song from the album ♥
God I love the way his voice drops in the opening, haven't even heard 30 seconds of it and im in love. I can tell this new collab is gonna evolve and be bad ass forever ♡ it!
Favourite track off the new album. Their louder songs are a little boring and generic, but the slower stuff like this really shows off Bradleys vocals which are amazing.
I agree
I thought 1996 showed off both :O Dust thou agree-eth?
RJ Piccioni Yeah that track is pretty sweet
Who's here 9 years later !?!
So glad these guys are back
I love these guys c:
I think the more I listen to this album the more I LOVE it
I love this way better than the old stuff. I listened to the other albums & I love this album way better than all the other ones . Can say Emarosa is one of my favorite bands now 💕
Everything about this new sound fits perfectly. Take my money!
so good type of chill music you could just kick back and listen to
When I hear that bit at 2 minutes in all I can hear is separate ways.
Best volume on RUclips! Most excellent Riserecords.
this song is so Underoath musically. great song tooo
Do I hear them doing the Journey song "Separate Ways" from 1:55 to 2:02? Am I the only one?
yeah! i notice that too
LMAO I just asked the same thing. Should have scrolled down lol
gnpahdc Jesus Christ hahaahahahh Totally heard it
I love that part!! So awesome!!
gnpahdc I definitely hear that. It sounds like they did it on purpose.
This is the best band on Rise right now. Hands down.
I recently found this band and I've listened to some of their songs from I believe each album and change is a good thing guys c: lets just enjoy the fact they are still around
1:56 Journey "Separate Ways" reference. Am I the only one?
i heard it
Fuck no, i came down to comment the obvious rip off. Hes lying his dick off if he claims he didnt steal it.
isaac andre i was about to comment that until i saw yours
@Zachary Hale kid? I'm almost 30 LOL I can't remember what I was talking about. It's the medication
@@glitchyrhythm6749 Imagine being this clueless about music.
Favorite track on the album thus far.
Every time I watch an RR video, I wonder why I'm still subscribed..
Every once in a while there's something good. You always have Choco Slayc to go to if you don't ;) .
Hector Dominguez its funny you say that because me and Choco are bros lol
:) I saw your comment on Perfect Dream Pt.3 about his shorts lol. That's why I mentioned him haha
Yeah haha I wasn't being serious, and me and him have been talking on Google + lol
Steve Aboagye Yeah man, I read the rest of the comments. You weren't bagging on the guy.
That's cool man. He seems like a pretty crazy chill guy.
Probably my favorite song from the album. It's just so so so good - artistically. Given that, the entire album is a masterpiece - in my opinion.
i find this song so soothing. I love it.
Someone showed me this band 5 years ago and I swear to God I listen to them every day
Best song I've heard from him so far
Refreshing. This is strangely comforting. Well done fellas
damn i love this song
Oh my god this is soooooooo goooooooooooooooood!!! Great work guys! Congratulations!
Vocals in intro has some Michael Jackson vibe for real damn
only emarosa
Idk why this reminds me a bit of My understandings. Also, this is soul warming
Best song on the album by far.
my goodness! perfection!♥♥♥
Favorite song on the record
I'd really hate to be that guy because I love sws (don't lie, most of you like them too), but why put that song after the brilliance of what I just experienced here.
hi bad guy
I really like where emarosa is going, I mean the past should stay dead. So if you guys could just be glad that they're back and enjoy what they put out that'll be great
Rivas Rumamby I agree.
So good.
This was my jam many years ago
The lyrics....just so on point
Say Hello to the New Band Guy
they are both good and everything happens for a reason
Emarosa will never not be good.
Anyone notice they break into a journey song at 1:55?
Woah a little Steve perry thrown in there I like it
"Say hello to the bad guy" -Razor Ramon
Brah you are epic for saying this.
You're perfect
And introducing first, billing in from Hollywood, California, weighing in at 232 lbs, GOLDUUUUUSSSSTTTTT!
This is actually really good, I like the vocalist a lot, just a different pace from what Jonny was.
Most definitely.
I feel like I just got the joke, even though it may not even be an intended pun at all. Wasn't there a song on Relativity called Even Bad Men Love Their Mothers? And now Bradley is the new bad guy. I'm digging it
actually obsessed with this
Perfection
Reminds me of 90's - 00's type music.
Does anyone recommend this band? Bc I'm looking for new bands to obsess over
Aero Lamont I'd try Beartooth they are pretty good, but yeah haven't really gotten into them but try toast to the future kids good song
Definitely recommend. Check the reimagined version of this EP out too. The band I've been obsessed with in the last year is Erra... Totally different but yea lol. Also Idlehands
Corban T. I love Erra. If you like Erra, if you haven't already, listen to Invent Animate. Jesse, Erra's guitarist worked with them on that album.
Aero Lamont If you love Emarosa, you should listen to Hands Like Houses and I, the Mighty.
They aren't bad actually. Horrible live. Great recorded. :)
Fuck! New Emarosa is just way tooooooooo good.
Dude sounds like Michael Jackson in the intro. Wow. Well done.
:D
Reminds me a lot of Dead Letter Circus. Which is definitely a cool thing.
wow! Well I never had faith
I never had love (8)
The vocal melody in the pre-chorus sounds a lot like "Separate Ways" by Journey.
"...hearts broken in two, two, two..."
YASSSSS
this is so relaxing
I'm hearing a little Michael Jackson in this track, I love it
Yay someone else noticed :D
I was afraid to say it in fears of being lynched by the fan base.
That's the first thing I heard!
Rory Rad HOW DARE YOU!!! ;)
Reminds me of the fray
Bradley used to go out with my mom
why isn’t it on Spotify anymore tho
Proof that Bradley Walden > Jonny Craig
be careful with that sort of statement. be ready for the onslaught of insults. though I do agree with you, opinions are messy.
this isn't opinion
fair enough
***** i did warn that opinions are messy
***** id like that. have you listened to the album in full yet? its really different i think, not what i was expecting but i am pleasantly surprised
Is that a Journey reference with that "broken in two" part? Cause it sounds an awful lot like a line from Separate Ways.
why does everyone have to compete with jonny craig when he leaves another band. i think we can agree that both bradley walden and jonny are great singers
It's ok
I want to know the name of the band in the Left that appears in minute 3:47... Can anybody tell me plz?
+Rogelio Camacho Jiménez uh thats sleeping with sirens ziggs
Oh! Thank you so much dude (Y)
+Rogelio Camacho Jiménez The song's name is "Alone"
how do you not know sws??!!!??!
Nop! I didn't know xD
How can anyone honestly say this is better than any of their old stuff? Seriously...I'm not saying it's bad at all, I actually love Bradley's voice, I just don't understand how any old fans of this band can say this new cd is better than Relativity.
Because they have different opinions maybe?

Andrew Johnson They're hardly better than Dance Gavin Dance but they're still great, I like their new vocalist.
Slayer435 actually, the previous singer for this band was in Dance Gavin Dance.

***** I don't mean the artist can't wait. I mean who ever it was that leaked it. Maybe an intern? Who knows.
😍😍
Isn't this the track that features Jason Butler's vocals along side Bradley's?
Jason sadly didn't get to record them :(
Damn really??? Sucks, just makes you wonder what the track may have sound like if he had actually recorded them
Yeah it does. Maybe something in the future will come up.
There's always hope, thank you for replying though and clearing up that issue :)
💕👌
So where's Jason's part?
his voice is incredible. he was awesome in squid the whale
This feels a bit Circa Survive-ish and I don't know why. Not a bad thing at all. And Jonny Craig was a great fit for Emarosa but this singer is pretty great too.
best song yet, i take all the shit i said back, everything is in perfect unison just like before, but 1000 times better with bradley
I like it! (:
I feel like this song is about the relationship between Jonny and Emarosa...
sounds like the classic crime & akissforjersey
Anyone else notice the part that sounds exactly like a lyric from Journey's "Separate Ways"?
They sound like FOB
When he said "broken in two, two, two" I literally thought he was busting out a line from Worlds Apart by Journey lol
Me too! He says it the exact same way!
kinda disapointed with this album :/ ive only listened to all the songs once since they have been released. but this one and mad are the only ones that i actually really like. the rest sound all the same to me.
Isn’t jason butler supposed to be in this song
dunno if it was this song, but yes, he was supposed to be on the album. When I asked, he told me stuff came up and he never had the time to record the feature.
I'm not hating on the album but doesn't almost every song sound the same?
NOPE
You're right, my bad, listened to the rest of it, its not bad but it's a little too calm of an album for my taste
i agree that 2 or 3 sounds the same, but the really good ones stand out so much. like 100 crowns
David Ginsberg funnily enough i think that's one of their weaker songs
jonny this, bradley that
y'all are so bitter it hurts my heart..
Anyone else heard Michael Jackson at the beginning of the song?
