It’s crazy how much damage has happened here after I explored here last March (2021)… It’s a shame because I went twice in my video of the place. 3 days apart and even then, there were already changes.
I’m so pissed off and depressed that someone graffitied the desk… The bowling alley itself is even more destroyed and trashed now… The shoe shelves was completely damaged and now it’s missing so many shoes… The pool hall is just not the same… tables flipped.. all destroyed… 😞
It’s a real shame. I can imagine the more time that goes by the worse it’ll be. That’s why we document these places before destroyed. Always have the memories of what it was and not the shell.
This building started as beaver valley brewing company. The building that had chemical fire was mainly pool chemicals. There was a bar on first floor. At one time its was to be fixed up as a restaurant. Those big arched windows in the begining were put in new. This building is a wonder boys was also filmed at the alley

It was ratted down when I boweled there as a kid, in the early 90's. He didn't show the elevator. He doesn't seem to have a concept of a bowling pro-shop, where they sold new balls and gloves and such, and thus yes, took your hand measurements and drilled the balls...
Bro you were brave letting the guy see you me probably will be hiding lol 🤣 so sad see the place destroyed and rotting away from the water amazing video
Awesome video I was looking for a nice longer one and finally found it. Btw that unique looking toilet was an American Standard Sanistand Women's Urinal. I saw it in another video of this alley and the explorer happened to know about vintage plumbing fixtures. That caught his attention as they are quite uncommon and surprising to find one there of all places. They're designed so women don't have to sit on a shared seat to #1.
When you featured the outside of the bowling alley I knew it was also featured in the film Wonder Boys. It’s an amazing film that speaks to me in many ways. I also have this uncanny visual recall of locations. Have no idea if someone already pointed this out. If you haven’t seen Wonder Boys, please do! Yes the wonder boys was another movie. I haven’t seen it and will watch soon. I believe I did fail to mention it which I will add in my description. Thank you for reminding me of this. Your turning out to be a lot of help for me 😂🙂😎. Your awesome Aimee.
I work there when was younger all night bowling you couldn't believe what we heard and saw it was haunted. One Saturday we where closing shut off all the light around the pins and someone was rolling a ball down the lane
That’s crazy! I had a strange feeling when walking around in both the videos of the bowling alley. It’s an old building and you can just feel the energy even as it’s abandoned. Thank you for your comment. Love hearing about the places I go. ✌️
It’s whatever to me! I got to document an abandoned bowling alley and one that was filmed in kingpin. The or not. Thankx for “the” view! Or should I say thankx for view. 🤣
You were exactly right about the drilling of the bowling balls. They do it all the bowling alleys. It has to do with custom fitting the ball. They will drill the holes to work out for you. My mom and dad were on a league and my dad was bowling and the ball was tight on his thumb. And as he bowled a few frames his hand started to sweat. That caused a suction. And when he threw his heavy ass ball . Because my dad was 6'2 240 at the time so he needed a heavy ball. Well he threw it and it almost pulled his thumb off. It was really bad. He was able to get his ball resized that nite. And continued to bowl and they won that nite. Even with my dad's sprained thumb. Lol 🤣🤣🤣 I am full of stories... Much love from the Ozarks 💕

Man I wish I knew when people were filming this, would of meant u and showed u a couple more movie locations. They filmed wonder boys on the side of the building, they filmed Gung ho 2 minutes away from this building. If you look across the river and see the big water tower....that’s around where I live.
Past Life Explorer: It’s a good movie, Michael Keaton is main character. No problem. It’s a a shame what happened to that building. Think it’s being torn down soon.
It’s too damaged now from all the vandalism and from what had happened with the chemical fire before the building closed. It really is ashamed nothing more is being done to keep the vandalism low at a minimum.
Kingpin was shot there ... But it means so much more than just a movie set place...Is there any way it can be saved because of that. Is there anyone that would fork out that kind of money . I have even thought of asking a few youtubers . To ask if they have any youtuber friends Get enough of them together get the attention of someone like mr beast . This building really needs to be saved I know it needs a lot of work.. But I also know what it was like in its prime.. It wasn't just a bowling alley it was a comedy club. It was a pool hall. It was a skating rink. Is and a bowling alley all at the same time. But it was also like a second home for folks that had no where else to go, Where even if you didn't have a penny to your name As long as you didn't cause trouble They would let you stay chat make friends Sometimes the original owner would even treat you to a bowling game. This Building needs to be saved not only for the history, But also for so many memories. I already tried going through famous people for the last couple years. Been ignored by each and everyone. That ever had anything to do with any movies there. Kingpin was not the only movie shot there. Can anyone help me come up with a game plan like the above suggestion? I know it's Not going to be cheap to fix. That's why I suggested such a huge name like mr beast. Can anyone Do anything please. Literally begging not for myself, but for many more, And even future generations. Save the rochester bowling alley...
