Just finished taking the Design Sprint 2.0 training and it's absolutely genius! I have 4 calls coming up next week and I was curious as to how to price the projects, this is very helpful. My greatest concern is under-estimating my value and losing money on the project being that I've never charged a client for a sprint before. When I had braces, after getting them tightened I would use that time to fast from UPFs (ultra processed foods) which tend to be crispy and crunchy. I would consume a lot of broths, eggs, soft fruits like grapes, strawberries, oranges, etc. For protein I would consume legumes and green leafy veggies because meat tended to cause a bit of discomfort...smoothies were ultimately my best friend. Hope this helps! Thanks for sharing this information.
That's amazing to hear Evan! Thanks for sharing. That's a very valid concern to have. If you want to have a more realistic idea of what other facilitators charge for a Design Sprint when they're just starting out, you could head over to facilitatorclub.com and ask there. I'm sure you'll get some great answers. And thanks for the braces tips! Cheers
I'm the 16 year old founder of Maxtrenza working with global clients and multiple 8 figure companies. This video has really helped me understand pricing structure better. Thanks mate! Would love to chat with you casually any time!
Super truth! Selling our work by the hour is very frustrating in terms of being able to deliver quality work, because by reducing costs to stay within the buget that the customer wants, consequently they will reduce working time. So feel proud for having exposed the scenario here. I really hope that more companies follow in your footsteps. Good luck!
I take as a conclusion as a Salaried employee... In a Sprint, we should estimate a Story in not less than days because anyway the day is spoiled if the Story is started...

You're spot on Márcia! That's also a big drawback of charging by the hour. Thanks for sharing!
That was some great advice. Thank you.
Thanks for your comment James! Glad you liked it.
Thanks a lot for sharing
I did have braces and I drank smoothies, juices, ate pooridge and puddings...
The downside of this is you'll have a lot of one off projects and you'll constantly be on the run to get new clients.
Thanks a lot!
Thank you Santos Khalifa! Glad you liked the video
