Lisa was warmer and more enthusiastic than her family. She's stunning.
She looked stunning in that dress. I was really shocked the mother and sister weren't more supportive.
Because of the way she felt growing up, I believe it gave her this lovely sweet spirit about her. I believe it kept her from being this reserved cold fish that the other two are.
What a cold fish of a mother! Sister was no bargain either. This beautiful woman would have been better off bringing two empty shopping bags to this appointment instead of her family.
Absolutely amazing dress! Lisa did a great job with her picks! I feel so bad for her though that her family seemed to have zero feelings for her at all. At least her sister appeared to ACT like she cared but the mom could have been watching a total stranger try on a dress. Just about broke my heart for the bride. It's no surprise at all to me that she has confidence issues.
Lisa nailed this one! I love it when the perfect dress turns out to be below the bride's budget. Lisa's best work was keeping the bride's spirit up when her reserved entourage wasn't all weepy and emotional.

Lisa was the best consultant for Jenny. Both sisters are gorgeous, but Jenny looks softer, sweeter than her sister.

The way mom reacted (or rather, didn’t) explains why Jenny is lacking in self-confidence.
She looks simply amazing in that dress, it’s sad her mom & sister weren’t expressive, that must have hurt the bride’s feelings.

She was STUNNING! Her family was eerily reserved. Even if her family didn’t feel that was her dress, she objectively looked beautiful in that dress - maybe it’s the editing but it was bizarre how flat their response was.

@@kp4911 completely agree - her Mum was blinking back tears at one point. My own mother seemed quite reserved when I was trying on dresses, but my friend who was with us said that she was trying very very hard not to push me in one way or another (because my Grandmother had been very opinionated, and ruined the experience when she was dress shopping).

I feel wounded, and uncomfortably so, seriously just as a spectator. The mom and sisters unmerited reservation was hard to watch. (THIS edit must not be true to their real reaction). Jenny called ahead and had her choices pulled. Her family likely had already been consulted so seeing her in the dress would not have been shocking-as the edit presented. THE DRESS was perfect. Jenny is stunning. She should be the PRIDE and JOY of the family. As far as I am concerned, she is.
This is a scripted TV show. You know nothing aside from your own visceral reaction based on your own experiences. Maybe they are introverts who were uncomfortable being filmed but agreed to do it to try and help their beloved sister/daughter's singing career so she could get exposure. This comments section is so weird. Ultimately it's how she feels about herself so it literally doesn't matter whether other people tell her she's "prettier than her sister". She doesn't "feel" beautiful and no-one can make her feel and believe that but herself.
