Thanks for sharing! As a women of color who hikes and camps, it's always nice to see more channels that highlight this! There are plenty of us but it doesn't feel like outdoor brands remember women or WOC.
Great review. One thing. The little slits at the bottom of the back are for a little bike clip on flashlight. Like an Olite Oclip. I love that light. Tiny. Clips on anything. Magnetic back. Multiple brightness levels. And had solid and red blinking lights. It or any other brand is a must for any pack. It’s come in handy many times and it lives on my refrigerator when I’m not on the go.
Thanks for this review! I feel more confident in committing to this purchase now, since the Osprey videos weren't as thorough or specific to the 9L bag. Happy safe hiking!
Thank you sooo much for the review! I was trying to look for the water bladder size which can fit in the Tempest 9L, finally find your video was mentioning the size there!!!! Thank you!!!! I also have an Osprey Kyte 48, so I decide to buy a 3L water bladder in order to use with both backpacks, but just not fill it up completely while using this Tempest 9L
I purchased this SAME PACK, color and all...and am getting ready to use it for the first time. Enjoyed your overview and learned a few things! Thanks for sharing 😁
Thanks for watching Erica! The 9 is the perfect size. It worked great for the 7 hour hike I did to the glacier and I had plenty of water and space to put everything I needed.
Thank you so much (!!); this video was so informative! I typically never comment on videos, but I love your energy, and your lighthearted candidness about the product. Happy hiking 🙂~
@@TravelWithLady I felt just the same like Erika. Oh and indeed snacks comes always first. 😀 Very informative video. I like your style. I wanted a co-worker just like you when I sold hiking clothes. (8 year A. S. Adventure (Belgium hiking stores with summit-collections)). You give me a little bit the feeling off mine selling-style. 😉 You give the features and when you're going to hike you will like it more and more. Oh yes, this and that and... Oh more snackplace! Have a good day!
Thank you @cabaretkonijn 💕 So happy you enjoyed the review. Your comment put a giant smile on my face 😃 Glad you feel the same way about snacks too! haha! Hope you have an awesome day!
Just came across your channel and I love your attitude! Would you recommend this pack for run commuting? Do you know the dimensions of the side pockets? I'm wondering if it could fit an iPhone 13 pro.
Thanks for watching Chellsea. 😀 The pockets aren't big enough to fit my phone but I do have a large Samsung. I'm not familiar with run commuting. I've used this on every hike I've done in Alaska for the past couple of years and enjoy it. Hope you find a backpack that fits your needs. 💕
Would you recommend a backpack that I can add a sleeping bag to it? I already have one in mind because the last one I used. I used it until it need to be RIP. But I want a smaller size pack. So, I am going to assume this one your talking about wouldn’t hold a sleeping back correct?
If I needed a sleeping bag I wouldn't take this backpack since it's only 9 liters. I currently use it for summer day hikes. There are larger versions that are between 30 and 40 liters that would better accommodate more gear. When I went backpacking I used the Aura and did a review of it here: ruclips.net/video/kWVm0XzuNkE/видео.html Thanks for watching Tina!
@@TravelWithLady cool beans. Thanks for answering so fast. Also, it is also cool to see another sistah into camping and such. I don’t know too many. Your video was great. I’ll go check out your video you just sent me. Thanks again.
@@TravelWithLady i bought it, thanks to you, and I am already in love?! Its perfect - comfortable and beautiful, thank you for sharing once more! Plus, you are so cute! I love your energy ❤️❤️❤️
With their styles from last year they had a size of small/medium and that's what I purchased. I would need to check their sizing chart again to see what it would be for the updated pack. When I'm done I'll let you know. If you'd like to as well you can size yourself using this link: fave.co/3bl59Nu
Because of my torso length the sizing guide says I could choose either size. I would stick with the smaller option (xs-s) since I am a small in their overnight women's bag.
You can attach hiking poles if you get one of the larger sizes. For example the next size up is the 20L size. You can see it here: bit.ly/3Eef7xZ Thanks for watching Lee!

Thanks for the detailed review. I think it's going on my Christmas wish list now.

Thanks for sharing! I don't have that Olight yet. I'll have to check it out their other flashlights are awesome 😀
@@TravelWithLady You will love it. It clips perfectly onto that pack. Great video.
Thank you! I was really wondering what the inside was like on this bag and a lot of the online shops were just showing photos from outside.
Glad the video was helpful Sylvenya! 🙂

Thank you so much I was deciding what to get. But there are no videos of seeing how it fits on a person's body. This is so helpful!

@@TravelWithLady Going for an 8 mile hike tomorrow in Iowa. No bear spray needed here 😁
@@amynixon7204 haha it's nice not to need bear spray! Have fun on your hike!
Great review! I was looking at the Tempest 20 but now I'm thinking it may be too big and the 9 actually may be the better size for 4-6 hour hikes.

You're welcome JuleB. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this excellent review, is there anywhere to clip/carry hiking poles on the outside of this pack at all..?
You're welcome Maya! If you would like hiking poles choose the 20 liter since the bag I reviewed, the 9 liter, does not have a place for hiking poles.
There is clip on the arm is for hiking poles and there is one on the front for ice picks which is also great for hiking poles or an umbrella.
Good idea thanks
Gummy worms come first - yaaaas girl LOL I hit subscribe so fast when I heard you say that :)
Haha! Glad you can relate! :) 💕
Gummy Worms, love it 🤣
Haha yup! They're practically a requirement now. 😂
Would this be good for going to the gym? Need to have room for a pair of jogging shoes a towel and a water bottle?
Gummy worms absolutely come first 😋😆👏🏻 💯 agree
Yes Lindsay! Gummy worms are amazing 😆😆😆

@@TravelWithLady thanks for checking! Yeah I measured too i wasn't sure. I'm similar height so I will go for small again! Thanks.

Thanks for watching Lee!
what size is that?
Thanks for watching! The size of this pack is small/medium. However in their new sizing I would choose the xsmall/small.
It is also a 9 liter bag.
Hola, gracias por el vídeo, la talla que tienes es Xs/S o la talla S/M?
Hi Ana. Thanks for watching! I'm the XS/S.
