You go try that in a left foot or the new electronic parking brakes.

Idk bro , that i just found this video and it's dumb asf , you are an automatic transmmison why they just keep the left foot on the break and and right on the gas pedal and just realse the break slow and accelerate slowley , so it's an automatic clutch it's always engaged so it's not like on a manual 😂

We should be able to turn it off. It’s not helping for an experienced manual driver, it just stalls the engine cause it holds past what it would normally take to move forward. Burn the clutch assist is what it should be called

wow when I started the video I just assumed it was only for manuals..if you need this feature in your automatic, you shouldn't be driving..truthfully if you need it in your manual, you either need practice or an automatic..

actually driving a manual has 0 advatages in our time, but sure it feels better to drive a manual because you can do things that people with automatics can't do.

Youcef Hamouni you contradicted yourself, if there is no advantage to having a manual then how can it do things that automatics can't do.

I could see this being useful for handicapped people. But seriously, I could do hillstarts without using hill assist or the handbrake on a manual transmission without rolling back. It's a basic skill. Isn't this taught anymore?

An Drei indeed. They don't teach that, I figured that out for myself. Even though in my country everyone drives a manual

Wow, roll start assist when moving downhill. WHY ?????
when you go down hill you still press on the gas ? let your foot stay focus on the break !
And what happens when there is a glitch and the device kicks in while you are driving 60mph?

  • @jesusninja2401

You're not reading the description. This feature is used on the PowerShift transmission and others that are manuals but shift on their own like an automatic. When stopped on a hill as you let your foot off the break the car will roll backward as your foot leaves the break to hit the gas peddle like a manual would. This assist feature lets your car add 2.5 seconds of breaking while your foot moves to the accelerator. Terrible design on Ford and other companies that use it. It also allows you to turn it on while driving downhill allowing you to let off the break and save on wear and tear. We have a Ford Focus with this and it's terrible.
