Personally, I find habit tracking really useful.
In case you feel the same - or want to give it a try - here is an easy way for you to do so. See which of these three popular habit-tracking plugins is right for you.
You can follow along and build your own tracker or download the free "Lean Habits" vault at kspr.me/lhb.
As always, let me know your thoughts - I appreciate all the feedback!

I tried to merge it with the other obsidian vaults but it doesn't work properly, I followed the guide you provided when merging CRM lean. I also can't open the Books Dashboard. I need help! 😅

Thanks for this super helpful video! Do you know which of the plugins would be best for charting daily and weekly habit score trends? For example, if I am tracking 5 daily habits and I complete 4 habits on a given day, that's an 80% habit score for the day (and a similar calculation for the week).

@@nikhilmaddiralathank you. That's very kind of you. Are these habits all true/false properties?

@@leanproductivity Yes, let's take the simple case of 1/0 values. I'm thinking one simple method is to define a daily formula called "daily habit score" that sums all the individual habit values, then I can just use heatmap or a tracker chart to plot this. Would this be the best approach? Thanks again!

@@nikhilmaddirala not sure how to get this into a heatmap or chart. i managed to write a dataviewjs query that checks the current note's frontmatter, counts all boolean properties and then calculates the percentage of those that are "true". but i have not yet found a way to use these results in a chart or heatmap.

@@leanproductivity That's a bummer, but thanks so much for looking into it! It could easily be accomplished with a custom python script automation I guess, but that's more work!
