This one was too aggressive for me. I sprayed it to test in the store. It stayed in my breathing space for the rest of the evening as I shopped. I kept getting the scent and looking around like: WHAT IS THAT??? ... and it was me!😂😅
On that note: if you love this scent family, go for it! It was a scrubber for me!
Ps: I sprayed 3,sprays on my left wrist. It outlasted all its sisters I sprayed on my other sample spots.

I’m not a rose floral fan at all, but I was so surprised to LOVE this one!! I paired it with VS Aqua Kiss and it was so beautiful. Most definitely not an ordinary overly sweet rose.

Zara Rose Gourmand is a dupe for Mancera Roses Vanille (rose and vanilla), which is also close to Montale Intense Cafe (rose, vanilla, and coffee, but the coffee is very slight). (Mancera and Montale are the same company.) If you detect a coffee note in Covered In Roses, I wonder if it might be a dupe for Intense Cafe? Although I remember people, saying that Whipped Rose Latte was a dupe for Intense Cafe.

I am so impressed with this release from Bath & Body Works, and I love your reviews btw! I think Covered in Roses smells like Delina Exclusif myself but I prefer Whipped Rose Latte. Also On the Horizon to me gives MAC Turquatic! Definitely will be getting back ups of these beauties during the upcoming bodycare sale!

Rose Gourmand is very close to Mancera's Roses Vanille, i hope this line comes to Canada so i can get my nose on these.

I finally ordered it from the US website and oh my goodness it’s amazing. I want a back up. I layered it the other day with Nest Lychee Rose. It’s gorgeous on its own. So happy I ordered it. Canada likely will not get it.

Hmmmm now I am interested...I wrote her off too soon...and not because she is floral but because someone said she smelled heavy rose and burnt sugar? I guess that is how they smelled the amber?

It doesn't smell like Delina to me at all either. It's totally lacking the tartness of rhubarb and lychee. When I tested it in store I immediately thought of dark red rosebuds. With the berries it's absolutely beautiful! But it ain't no Delina.

Fragrance cam be so different for everyone.....I don't get a dark rose at all....I get that very bright juicy tartness like the rhubarb. Very bright and tart. I wish you were able to get that too from it because it is devine!! For me its brighter then the 68.....so interesting

I pick up the bright juiciness of the litchi/rhubarb in the opening but there's still that dryness of the aromatics like vetiver and the woodiness stays the entire time (cedar). And there's that smokiness of the incense in both Covered in Roses and Delina/Exclusif. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they carry a Dupe of La Rosee. I'd like to wear it all the time but that price is a lot to wear it all the time. lol
I just went an ordered 9 out the 10 in the collection. I skipped the musk one.
I'm interested in this one. My store doesn't have any of these scents and I'm hesitant to blind buy. Did you think that the rose note was similar to that in Whipped Rose Latte? My favorite rose from BBW thus far is Rose.

Covered in Roses does smell like Delina to me and that's exactly why I don't like it. lol (I have Delina). CIR is a bit more plasticky on the dry down but it's a really close dupe for the price point. Now they need to make La Rosee next. lol
edit: I do get the tartness, fruitiness (in the opening), florals, aromatics, and woody notes in this dupe. They are lighter but that's to be expected for the price. I sprayed both on my myself and card to test.

I looked at it but I passed it up because I was afraid it would be too floral for my nose. I wished I would of gotten it, oh well I got enough to last me a year or 2 .

Not going lie I haven't bought bbw in while bought the actual new perfume that have been coming out and I been pleased also gone to zara and that peach perfume is like the tom ford one and I been loving the zara price plus no lie I'm half way done with it same long term longevity I highly recommend to get samples of delina cause some people are not lovers of the actual scent plus if is over 300 dollars and not loving don't always get into the case of falling for it sample first save some money I personally love it and have different options carolina herrera has options like the red heel and pink heel just lighter version go sephora or ulta smell. Oh wow if you love flowers new version of my way my hubby love it on me he said scent trail was hypnotizing beautiful then started kissing me hahaha.
