Sergio Martinez versus GGG would have been a joke. Cotto beat Martinez badly. As good as Cotto is, and he is great but he does not hit like GGG. Martinez would not have lasted more than a couple of rounds against GGG and he knew it which is why they never fought.
Martinez was a shot fighter. He wasn't the same anymore he took the cotto fight cus of the money. He knee was badly damaged
Cotto never beats a healthy Martinez, I watched that fight and it was sad to see because his legs were gone.
A prime GGG vs prime Martinez would have been a great fight, I would give it to GGG. Having said that if GGG was in his prime now he beats all the current MW and SMW including Canelo.
