Listening to your voice is very comforting. You sound like my stepmom. We lost her in 2022. Still miss her terribly.

The epitaph has the first word missing. It should read, 'Gone from our home, but not from our hearts.' A sweet sentiment for sure. May God grant all who are buried Grace and everlasting peace

Back during the 1800's the life expectancy was only 30-40 years. This was why girls married in their early teenage years. Lord bless and keep you. Happy trails! ❤🙏

I really enjoy your videos, I love cemeteries also. The story about the Miller family, Doctor Stewart and Charlie was so interesting, I really enjoyed it, ❤

That story about Lula Miller is like something from a murder ballad. Poor girl.

We had a issue in Chicago Illinois where a cemetery full of historical remains started removing graves to unknown locations and reselling the plots

So awful. To be killed for getting pregnant, just horrible. And the poor, innocent owner of the horse.

That poor family. Such a sad situation. Tragic. ❤ The fence around the Keller family plot is very pretty and in surprisingly good shape.

Those brass markers are from the US government. He had a military funeral. Veterans get a free funeral and marker. 21 gun salute included. My mother’s cousin had that same stone and funeral in 2013. His body was retrieved from North Korea. KIA 1950.

Some people could only go back to their great grand parents and that is as far back as they can go just because the family history records are distroyed so there is no guarantee they are going to find anything on their family history that's why I don't look I only go by what my mother told us kids

Some old stones have the makers mark along toward the bottom of the stone. I dont think our more modern stones have this on them.
