This dude is an example to the community, not only as an actor but as a well spoken person and inspiring example to strive to do better. The community needs to stop having gangsters as heroes. Those are just characters in a film. Need to imitate him as the real example, not the reel example.
The problem is that it requires FATHERS! Gangsters ban together seeking that strong male presence. And bm continues to blame bw, the system, the white man, and everyone else for why they abandon their children. You have to acknowledge that your actions are problematic in order to acknowledge that you need to change those actions.
It will never come, let’s be honest. If we was the majority and in power, why would you let another group catch up or pass you? We wouldn’t. I know I wouldn’t. It’s just a numbers game. If we stop 💥 each other on the streets and bw stop getting rid of us. We can finally get the population to take over. Even if a lot of us are average earners, we would have a big enough population where we would also have a good amount of go getters and start buying up all this sh*t.

Your a very good actor, and glad , for longevity. Don't let them change, you. Always stay , true , to God , no matter what's going on in your , Life. Keep up the good work , brother.
Tate talking about Sam Young and them. Read the book "The Policy Kings" Its a thin book but it will lay the historical ground work, and give you the names to look up for further research.
Robert Townsends movie “Hollywood Shuffle”…Robert warned us about this back in 1987. Being born and raised in South Central Los Angeles..you could say I got a knack for the vernacular. I’m not the best at speaking it but I can “hear” it. Make a long story short..When Snowfall first aired..first two episodes I was like damn this a good show..until I heard the lead actor say something..then I rewound it..and I was like mm mmm no way. Did my research and low and behold dude is British lol. That was the last episode I watched. Sorry but I’m not falling for it.
I'm from South Central also, and I knew something was off with the lead character in Snowfall, I haven't watched it either. Same with All-American you can see the difference in the authenticity, of the characters who are FBA and the ones who aren't. Spencer just didn't nail it all the way, good show but I knew something was up.
I'm gonna age myself but the first time I remember seeing him on any screen was The Royal Family with the Legends Red Foxx and Della Reese. He is definitely a legend in his own right.
Bravo and thank you for this great interview and an unseen side of our favorite actors! Hopefully, we'll see Wayne Brady and Byron Allen on this platform. Real smart black men!
Great interview - very informative. I believe that until we own something as a Nation such as much more land mass as possible being bought and not rented to actually build infrastructure on as well as intangible assets such as more of our own streaming services there's still going to be control and monitisation by the powers that be in Hellyweird unfortunately - praying we are actually getting there. Also need to be a lot more collaboration between old and new actors and actresses to create more production companies and new platforms of opportunity.
You look at such great actors as William Marshall who not only played in the Blackula series of movies but also insisted on the part being played off as an African Prince who was from a highly cultured people, protesting the slave trade. This man is so overlooked by black mainstream media but is in my opinion one of the finest Shakespearian actors that ever graced the stage. Dinah Carroll who as a black woman played a leading role in the late sixties show Julia. As a nurse and single mother who surpassed the usual Sanford And Son stereotypes of how black women were portrayed. Clarence Williams the third. Linc from the series The Mod Squad. Another fine actor who played the role of an undercover policeman with class and distinction.

We came here thousands of yrs ago, and we are the original people of this continent. They just found a mummy in Peru fully intact bc of the altitude. She has very dark brown skin and mini braids in her hair, she's 1000 yrs old. India is in Asia, we are from here, we're not Indians😊
@WapajeaWalksOnWater I stand correct... know the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas were Indics(Indos), right? Ex: Peru is short for the word: Puranas, which is Indo(Indian)- European sanskrit word that means ancient or old... ✌🏾
Larenz Tate Most Definitely Legendary, STILL A YOUNG MAN!👏🏼♥️I recall First watching Him in a Music Video, "Happy" With The Boys, waay prior to His Movie Appearances!😎👑🥰♥️
This brother has a billion dollar smile. What a great energy!😊
It’s crazy that we are still fighting for equality
It will never come, let’s be honest. If we was the majority and in power, why would you let another group catch up or pass you? We wouldn’t. I know I wouldn’t. It’s just a numbers game. If we stop 💥 each other on the streets and bw stop getting rid of us. We can finally get the population to take over. Even if a lot of us are average earners, we would have a big enough population where we would also have a good amount of go getters and start buying up all this sh*t.
@nxttraining398 - And the struggle continues. It's a damn shame that we as blacks continue to have to fight for what's rightfully our
This country s built on HATE, Racism and misery. I'm 26 and living with some of the same problems my parents faced
The crazy part is you want to be equal to someone else……… you are unique and you make your own way.
@@massdisruption3437 Exactly. They are holding the whyte men to a high standard which they are not. The majority like 85-90% of whyte people are working class living check to check, in debt the whole 9 yet people of color think they living some life of luxury. Most of em are peasants. No better than anybody else. We are not only equal but can surpass them in every way. We can make as much, we can date whoever we want. The world is ours but a lot of people of color have no ambition or suck up so much they don’t see it.
We keep begging white people to accept us.
Salute to the Fam, Gotta give our Brother Larenz Tate His Legendary JustDue☝🏾💪🏾💯🔥🔥🔥
(No knock to brother Larenz)
Honestly I know there’s a lot of things that go on in “Hollywood”
I personally don’t think you need them at all, You Already have The Foundation in Motion‼️
Peace and Blessings

I never met him but always looked up to him my mom always told me he”s kin to my cousin side on the West Side of Chicago she always said how talented the Tate’s were growing up. Love Big Cuz 💪🏾💪🏾#290
Thanks you 😘 for having this conversation regarding Hollywood needs more room for improvement all round the country.
Counsel man Tate, this dude is a legend. He is deserving of an oscar, hopefully one day.
He have held his youthful health up…He remind you of family.🥰
Excellent interview with Lorenz Tate.....truth is good within the black community dealing with the industry!! And how and why we need and should move forward. Investing in ourselves is most imperative 💪💯
I'm in Chicago, love to see you Lorenze Tate, . Love his movies. Way back from Dead Presidents, to now. You look good brother, for all that time spent in the Industry.. Your a very good actor, and glad , for longevity. Don't let them change, you. Always stay , true , to God , no matter what's going on in your , Life. Keep up the good work , brother.
I really appreciate the guest with the much appreciated information given he is so talented thank you and God bless 🙏
Larenz Tate- the guy I had a HUGH Crush on... so much so, I named my son after him ❤❤❤ Much Love
What a Smart Classy Respectful 🧔!!! God 🙏 Bless 🙏 You BROTHER 🙏
Great interview! His trajectory of goals and plans are attainable! It can be done
Tate talking about Sam Young and them. Read the book "The Policy Kings" Its a thin book but it will lay the historical ground work, and give you the names to look up for further research.
Dead Presidents ending just killed me, hold him up high since then, wonderful actor ❤
I don’t support black immigrants whenever their playing the role of black Americans
Great interview. I wish it was longer! 💎
This was a great interview, very nice to hear some of the business side of things instead of hearing him talk about the latest gossip.
Will always love this dude!! Need to see more of him!! ❤
This was a great interview
I am listening to any conversation Lorenz Tate is having.
Good content as usual brothers. Keep up the good work

This was a great interview. He listed some ppl he would like to work with. I think he should work with if given the chance: Issa Rae, Viola Davis, and Lupita. & play a part out of his usual like a sci-fi/marvel like film.
Great interview for one of the greatest screen actors...sub'd!
Powerful!!! More reason to own and control your craft so that you're compensated fairly
Much respect to Mr. Tate. Massive salute. See you on the flip side
Excellent interview with a talented brother. A national treasure. 🙂
