Episode 9:
Korra tries to meditate on the visions of Aang's life that have been plaguing here while being confined in an unknown area. Meanwhile, after hearing from Tarrlok that Korra had been captured by Equalist, Tenzin, Lin Beifong, and Team Avatar set out to find her, leading to the discovery of an underground Equalist base where several police officers were held captive. At Tarrlok's hideout, Amon and his Equalists arrive. After Tarrlok's bending is stripped by Amon, Korra sees the opportunity to escape and finds her way back to Republic City.

3:42 too adorable reaction 😊
"Don't freeze yourself, we've already seen that story." LMFAO 🤣
"I am the solution" still give me chills
Good to see you again.
one of the coldest lines/delivery i've ever seen
Same, that’s one of my favorite parts of the show. Never gets old!
Yessssss,I agree , Amon full of sick lines😂 🔥
@@olesyasreaction NGL to you.. i like Amon a lot. I am an equalist at heart
@@erickeker8761 **.....Dials phone** _"This is Lin. What's your emergency?"_
Honest when I watched the this episode for the first time the part seeing the flashbacks of adult aang, sokka, and toph, I always wanted a series featuring the original team avatar’s adulthood :)
😊Udders
😊
Don't you worry, we're getting one
Amon just walking through Tarrlok’s Bloodbending is so badass. Chills every single time!
I agree it was so sick 🔥
I can´t believe you MONOLOGUED over EVERY SINGLE FLASHBACK SCENE... And I do mean talking over EVERY SINGLE LINE OF DIALOGUE :S:S
I’m sorry, but I had to do that 🥺
Imagine if Bolin didn't clear his zipper?? OUCHIES!!😂😂
Oh no 😂
Fun fact: Toph is voice by Kate Higgins aka Sakura from Naruto and Yakon is voiced by Clancy Brown aka Long Fang from the original series and Mr.Krabs from SpongeBob. Sokka is also voiced by the guy who played Otis from Back at the Barnyard series
_THIS FREAKING EPISODE MAN I STG_
THIS IS LIKE THE COOLEST EPISODE IN THE ENTIRE FIRST SEASON I WILL NEVER NOT IMMEDIATELY DEVOLVE INTO RABID FANGIRL MODE AS SOON AS I SEE IT LIKE THAT AMON SCENE AAAAAAAA-----
... **High-pitched ahem** okay now that that's out of the way, Aang was biologically 66 at death and 166 if you uh, take into account the iceberg. ^^;;
I agreeeee so far it’s number 1 for me 🔥 Amon is literally on fire 😎
One of my favorite episodes from season 1! Glad you liked it, more good stuff to come 😌
Wow adult aang, sokka and toph look so good😍😍😍😍
.
.
I want a series with them🥺
.
.
Have a good day 😊
Aang passed away in his mid 60's. It is confirmed that he died an earlier death because his body consumed so much energy to keep him alive in the iceberg. That is a very quick death compared to others (Bumi, Katara, Toph) as you can live up to 120 years in the world of Avatar ... or it might me just a "coincidence" so we can see Korra AND Toph + Katara, as they had around the same age as Aang
Thank you for the answer ❤️
9:33 - "звезда в шоке!"
•At this point, I don't think Tarrlok cares about illegal. Also, depends on the material, as purer metals are less bendable.
•Leading government officials. Imagine how much sleep the President actually gets, especially when something breaking occurs.
•Saving face via a cover story.
•I imagine an area as big as an entire city would have too much interference for such a scan, even for the daughter of Toph.
•Bolin, there's an old phrase I want you to memorize with Hagrid- Loose Lips Sink Ships!
•That's right, Chief Sokka was both a member of the United Republic Council, as well as its chairman. You also see an air acolyte serving as the representative of the Air Nomads, meaning that to be a member of the Council was not exclusive to Benders.
•Common Complaint #9-how OP bloodbenders were made, especially after removing the prerequisite of a full moon to bloodbend.
•And with this episode, Amon became all the more creepier, as in a horror movie villain.
•As for how Amon found them, I think the Equalists were placed on heightened alert after the raid on their prison and then followed Tarrlok after he fled City Hall.
I really love to see your reaction, it's a good way for me to feel like i'm watching this like the first time. I'm sorry bout my english, a hug from Mexico ^^/
Awww thank you so so much that’s soooo sweeet ❤️ don’t worry about your English mine is not better 😂❤️
Told you you were underestimating how terrifying Amon could be. "Blood bending too powerful it should be illegal? How cute that you try to use it now let me take your bending away."
Finally here. I missed you fr.
Awwww that’s so cuuuuute🥺
Yay a new reaction. I've been waiting for it all day today. Have a great weekend ❤️
oh hey! not sure if they have told you or not, but, the guy voicing Yakone is Mr. Krabs from Sponge Bob!
Whaaaaaaaaaaat😱😂 Noooo no one told me that 😂
@@olesyasreaction you gotta listen to the Yakone parts and close you eyes and picture Mr. Krabs 😑😉 once you do, you'll only be able to picture yakone as Mr. Krabs 🤣
@@Glaceonmon oh my god I swear I’ll do that 😂
Would you believe the first time I watched this I didn't hear them mention Counselor Sokka and had no idea it was him until I rewatched the series. I still kick myself at not noticing my favourite Avatar character!
This series is really good at adding in complex political actions without overly complicating the story or boring the audience. Tarrlok's capturing of Korra and blaming it on the equalists is a prime example of a false flag manipulation - doing an action, blame it on your opposition to justify a powerful reaction. Tarrlok had been struggling to crush the Equalist movement while getting everyone on his side, and by blaming them for the Avatar's disappearance any opposition or issues he had with Lin and Tenzin evaporated. A great story beat, and something that sadly happens in the real world too
My personal fav lok episode!
I feel like when She was being bloodbent by tarlok, her avatar State should have been activated as a defence mechanism.
what a snicker lol
I believe Aang was around 165 when he died. Also, your track record has been pretty good so far. You were right about Zhao in TLA, and you were right about Tarrlok in Korra. Hope you enjoy the rest of Book 1, there will be a nice TLA cameo that I think you’ll really like!
The idiot me was thinking :: who??? Then clicked lol
@@erickeker8761 lol yeah it’s not the same character, but I think Olesya will be happy about it. Just don’t wanna say too much without spoiling it!
Hama could also blood bend multiple people at once... For example when she let sokka and aang fly into eachother... Until katara stopped her
That’s truuuuuuue😱
At this point of the season, most of us thought Tarlokk could be Amon but no...
Aang died at the age of 166 years
She can't hit ground and see whole city..
Great reaction! Maybe turn down the music at the end, would be nice to hear you a little clearer!
For some reason I always have problems with the sound , sometimes is too loud or too quiet 😂 can’t find the gold middle, but thank you for the feed back ❤️
All the flashbacks in this episode had be all giddy! Wished they had made a series where we saw them as adults but oh well.... they still have time to make it happen 😏 Literally comic books as blueprints. Same with Korra. Really wish they would animate them.
But love this episode and we get more information regarding Tarrlok's background and honestly that "What are you!?" with Amon answering "I, am the solution" - gives me CHILLS every time. So good! More goodies coming soon! 😁
Saaaaame, I wish we had actual series about adult ATLA 😩
Min 12:41 " How he resisting it?"...well, remember Katara resisting to Hama's blood blending? so is nothing new about this scene
Yeah, but it was the full moon🤷🏻♀️ so she got the powers from Yue 😂
