this is really amazing... thank you so much! 🥺 i tried this technique last night and suddenly my talent showed up... i am a beginner level at digital art but with this video i became an upper intermediate.. THANK YOU 🥺😭😭😭
I'd just saw the realistic arts in tiktok, then I started to find for tutorials and your video is what I really need, the fact that you also provide a sketch for us to practice with! Thank you very much!🥺💓
thank you too. As much as possible I want to provide practices with tutorials, also it helps since you can reference my artwork until you can create your own.
AAAAAAA why can i be so dumb. i've been shitting myself over why my realism is so bad and weird and i just now knew u just have to color pick to blend it lmaoaoao. thank uu aaa
This is very helpful. Thank you. ❤ I've been trying to use the blur tool for blending in IbisPaint, and realized now that my shading looks very muddy and atrocious, lol.
Hello, I tried it and finally I filled the hole in my knowledge of shading and value. Also I used your sketch to practice. This is very helpful. Thank you and btw the sketch is a bit look like Dina Fritz (Human Version) 💜💜💜💜
Thank you, this is very helpful! What brushes do you use and what are their settings (if there are any?) I really want learn blending without using smudge tool.
Hi I have the brushes that I use on my latest video, Its soft pastel for the skin and hair gloss for the hair , I also adjusted some settings on it. Also, adjust the pressure sensitivity to whatever you are comfortable with
Its just my preference, Since it works best with my paint strokes, I can control the soft pastel more than the pen fade. It depends on what you prefer and comfortable with, since we each apply different pressures. The technique and method is more important
there is no problem with it even with smudge, I just dont recommend it when starting out, since most of the time, people blend it out to much and it looks blurry, what I really want to highlight is using cuts or hard edges. As long as you do the hard edges there is no problem with smudge or blurring
I am sorry if your mom thinks that way. Up until now, I also receive comments about that too, just keep going and they will realize that. . Drawing a realistic face takes effort the same as how we do it in paper, sometimes other people just dont appreciate it the same way. I hope that you will still continue digital art, you can join digital art groups, Im sure a lot of people will appreciate your works. Keep on making art , whether its digital or traditional. Dont lose your passion. Take care😊
but there is a wrong way to use it, which is a lot I see with beginners. I recommend studying edge control first which can be understood by using the method in this video. Using the smudge tool without understanding this, will just make the image look blurry, this is the primary purpose of this video. Shapes and forms are an important part of an illustration, if these are not defined properly, it wont look good. But if you are already good with fundamentals, any tools will do as long as it makes it easier for you.
Hi baka in a few days or next week po. Sorry po if matagal magedit, binabalance ko po with personal projects. I will try to post tutorials weekly. Thank you for supporting

Also, adjust the pressure sensitivity to whatever you are comfortable with
okay, thank you so much!
Hiii! I have another question, is it normal for the brush to have an effect like this? It shows whenever i use brush in water pin.it/6DWT5YM
I DIDNT KNOW YOU CAN BLEND LIKE THAT..
I tried your method but it seems my pastel brush and yours are different. Yours is solid but mine isn't. Plus the blending doesn't work well
Did you find a new method for ibispaint? This aint working for me as well
@@ari-man unfortunately I haven't an alternative method yet. Right now I'm trying some other apps instead
brush?
I USE THE SOFT PASTEL PEN SND I DONT DO THAT SO ITS BSD AND NOE I UNDERSTAND TYYY
Thanks
youre welcome❤️
What the name backsound?
Finally
Is soft pastel better than penn fade?
Its just my preference, Since it works best with my paint strokes, I can control the soft pastel more than the pen fade. It depends on what you prefer and comfortable with, since we each apply different pressures. The technique and method is more important
😍💜
Great video! Was just wondering, how do you find the colour name/code?
hi I dont quite understand what the color name or code is, in which part of the video did I do it? sorry I got confused
Where is thr non using smudge part for blending
Hi I didnt use smudge in this painting, the method I use for blending is at 0:20
Amazing tutorial!! I’m just curious, what brush did you use to blur it?
hi! i dont suggest using the blur tool. I use the soft pastel brush at 60-90% opacity for blending
What brush did you use
They used soft pastel
What brushes did ya use? :0
Soft pastel for the skin, and flat watercolor opaque for the hair
I use blur
there is no problem with it even with smudge, I just dont recommend it when starting out, since most of the time, people blend it out to much and it looks blurry, what I really want to highlight is using cuts or hard edges. As long as you do the hard edges there is no problem with smudge or blurring

I painted a realistic face in ibis paint but my asian mom told me it's not real art and i should do it in paper instead :'(
I am sorry if your mom thinks that way. Up until now, I also receive comments about that too, just keep going and they will realize that.
