Absolutely love the 400 Unit as a full band, but when you strip back a song to the acoustic basics like this you really get to see how great the song actually is. Jason is a phenomenal songwriter.!
@@daccaboy wouldn’t it be funny if we ended up sitting next to each other😆. Because of my hip we try to only go to seated venues but if we haven’t gotten our Jason fix for the year I pony up, pop a few ibuprofen, and stand until I have to lean on my wife
@@bluejay3945 I’m in the balcony in Spokane July 6 with my wife, daughter and son-in-law…I think the best seats for these smaller venues with balconies is the “loge” balcony area - front row of that area. Anyway, hope you get to see him soon.

I haven't seen a standing Isbell gig since 2016, and he's moved on to HUGE venues around here in the last few years. Was lucky enough to still see him in small theaters in 2018 and 19, and standing wasn't even an option there.
I truly hope these wonderful songs release his inner tensions and his family and life is more at peace. Most musicians I don't have that personal connection, something about him and his personal struggles wants to just give him a big hug on behalf of his fans

From a few comes vivid pictures in our minds, smells, and feelings. It is the most rewarding feeling for a few us who can close their eyes and really fall into a good song. It’s like, no… it is a real life time Machine.
He is a legend I adore everything about his songwriting, vocals and guitar skills! Covers were good enough for me until I I found Jason Isbell. He changed my life by being himself and he’s the absolute best!!

Buddy, that's past ridiculous. Billy S. is a flat picking phenom.....but he is not in the same league as Isbell as a songwriter. Isbell is not deficient in his chops either
