Winters in Massachusetts are way too extreme to have lemon trees growing outside, I’m so jealous of your massive plant! Please keep me posted on when you’re ready to sell some of these cuttings, thank you so much for this tutorial!
I'm certainly going to try this method! Not only with my citrus but I want to try it with hydrangea. In Hawaii, no reputable company will mail plants to me. I have tried with cuttings from flower bouquets but failed every time. Hoping using your method will work for me.

I thank you so much. I see I am doing it wrong. I have a tree branch and it is much bigger than what you showed. I have the root grower but I got it after I put the tree in container. Should I put the root grower on then replace it?

Good morning Lead! Question once the cuttings take root and we transfer out the cup what size container do we put them in? Do we just go a little bigger and keep going up when the tree grows or go straight to a large container?
In your experience, how cold tolerant are Meyer lemons? I have friends and acquaintances who grow them, but I had one and it died to the graft on a not so cold winter. Around 18°F and I was confused, because you’ll see some people here have some big meyer lemons.
Thanks for the video. I just bought a Meyer lemon from Lowe’s (3 gallon?) and it had some buds on it. I’m in 9a zone and the weather is fluctuating between 80’s to 105’ degrees. I was watering it every few days and it started dropping leaves and turning yellow. It’s been on the covered patio and not in direct sun. Should I wait to plant it? My backyard gets full sun from sunrise to sunset. Don’t want to plant it right now and it get scorched from the sun
Karen Christian it sounds like too much water. Citrus almost act like cactus 🌵 they like it dry but not tooooooooo dry. No need to water that much. You can plant it. It will bounce back quicker in the ground or much larger container.

When are you going to have them ready, I would like to purchase one I can not find them anywhere. It is in a pot since per the nursery I should not plant it in the ground here. Anyway it in the house and doing amazing since I have a south facing window. My Improved Meyer Tree sapling. I had some white larva in the soil and in its roots. I repotted it, I added netting to protect it but its leaves are yellow and droopy. It seems to be in shock. I purchased it in April. It is in a clay pot. Any ideas.
Thanks for sharing. My pink lemon tree gets those same flowers & I do get what appears to be fruit but it's like they disappear. I'm not sure what's eating my fruit. Could ants eat the fruit buds?
I bought a peach tree from lowes....i got excited because I had finally found a fruit tree. I didn't realize that I need a pollinator. Of course I can't find another tree to help pollinate it...should I go ahead and still plant it? Will it survive until next when I can find a pollinator? I'm in NC 7B.....thanks

Hello Lead.🤚🏾. Question: I bought 6 Meyer lemon cuttings from EBay but they came with no leaves, I put in a peekaboo cup with rooting hormone and it’s been 3 weeks with nothing happening yet. Should I give up and just toss them in the trash or keep hope alive that some roots will appear???
