Just seeing the animation of the paddles move when shifting up and down through the gears on Drive Club makes you realize how much of a masterpiece of a game it is. It's little details like this that engages you more into the game play. This game is sooooo underrated.
minimilla Drive Club is honestly the only racing game that should be played on PS4 at all... Xbox One Has Forza, and PC has... well... it has tons of Great racing games that should simply stay on PC.

I can say that Drive Club is my best experience until now in terms of car simulators... A lot of attention was put on the details and the graphics are like nothing I had ever seen before! :)
Hi Jose, I must admit to being a little unimpressed when I first started playing but after installing the update I was mindblown. The graphics are unlike anything I have seen some of the tracks I have played with dynamic weather have just made my jaw drop.
Cool! Maybe we can both race sometime or team up to race others... I am not very experienced yet so I think we're more or less at the same skill level! :)
The sense of speed is EVERYTHING in a racing game, Driveclub nails that perfectly. Driveclub is the racing game that I would design given the chance. My only gripe with Driveclub is the weird lack of American and Japanese cars, and real-world tracks would be nice. The lack of customization doesn't bother me, but for other people it definitely would so I get that.
Yeah on those aspects, but the gameplay on project cars is better. And Driveclub lost my interest when they started drifting around every single corner...
-If you have a REAL INTEREST in everything automotive, have a brain that can compare reality to video games, and enjoy 1080p/60fps over 30fps on *THE PC MASTER-RACE*; then the obvious choice is *_Project Cars_**.* If you enjoy pretty graphic textures over gameplay, being able to tweet your thoughts to fellow sorority sisters while playing, or something programmed on a potato; the obvious choice is *_drive club_**.* (I'd rather go to a gay club personally.)
***** If you had read what Evolution Studios said when they were developing Driveclub, they could have done 60fps and still kept the graphical fidelity as it is now. They just chose 30fps as the had the sense of speed required for the game. Also i think (apart from the Karts) project cars feels slow and doesn't reprisent actual speeds is suppose to be going! In turn Driveblub is way ahead of this current crop of games graphically (console). next wave of games may catch up we shall see.
James Frog "They just chose 30fps as the had the sense of speed required for the game"... yeah, good story, bro. That was the lamest shit since W. claimed there were WMDs in Iraq. Now, when it comes to FOV, which is a big part of the sense of speed in a driving game, you don't want it too wide. It gives you less time to set up the car for the APEX and in a sim, that is everything. The reason for this is that you see more details and aren't distracted by the distortion that a wider setting produces.
EMRE55TURK GT6 is probably the most realistic game in terms of feels, not visuals. Tuning is real, feedback is real. Project Cars doesn't feel like a great game at all
EMRE55TURK I'm a very big gran turismo fan, have played all of them and owned every one since GT2, but they have failed the AI, engine sound, brake sound, and tire sound department with every iteration. I'm hoping this new version completely revamps some of their features and takes the crown but like Nintendo they've slowly been fading away with lackluster updates.
May I ask, how do you get the camera to slowly circle and move around the cockpit / drivers seat like that? Smoothly and randomly like a real head/eye movement? Both Drivelub (ps4) and project cars? 1:47 and 0:11 and 2:58 and 5:45
man driveclub really knows that sense of speed, something project cars needs to work on, oh and the rain on the windshield for project cars, that is ridiculous haha
Why it only has 50 cars its physics are pretty dam shitty and its only 30fps the only thing it has its graphics and thats about it get forza 6 it will 28 tracks 450+ cars and it will be 1080p 60fps this game looks nice but its just gets really repetitive
+somesh jagbeer never mind that, can we move on to the sound. Sure, Project CARS did meet that requirement, somewhat. Drive club put better emphasis on the racing gearbox, but that ruins the engine sound. And with the R8 V10+, drive club didn't help the sound. It didn't sound like a Lamborghini V10. But the Mclaren sound, project CARS was off by That much of a gap. Then the hot brake effect, drive club again. Now I'm sorry but if the disks are hot they glow red, not turn orange. And before someone says, yes Project CARS had night racing and raining racing before forza did, but to make it compete with games like Forza and Drive club, the best simulators on Console, the game has to be umm... Good. Project CARS was a low budget game developed with high hopes to compete with a game developed for a console, made by a country that lives in a world, more advanced then we could ever wish to be ( Japan ). And also a game made for an American console
Whatever you do, don't get a car game for the graphics. The FF and handling are much more important. Games like Simbin's Race07 e t c are still among the best driving sims out there and to be honest, when you try to hold a 700bhp car on the track, you don't really notice the interior e t c. Now, pCARS have both. The physics is modern and (especially on PC) it looks very good. It's really challenging you when you try to get your laptimes down. Try the Lotus 98T and you will know what I mean. 1/10th of a second to early on the throttle and the arse comes like a bat out of hell. Which is entirely realistic. Berger, Prost, Senna and the others were masters of controlling the 1000bhp they had. No TC, ABS or power steering. It was all in the hands of the driver so don't expect to be able to put the throttle down in the middle of a corner. DC looks great but it's quite clear that the game helps you in the corners. Just look how the game helps the driver to keep the power slide. There's no effort to it which to me is totally boring. You might as well have the game to drive the car for you. So, it all depends on what you are looking for. A great driving game? Then it's clear that pCARS is in another league. Good looking? Then it's probably a dead race between them, but DC still has less features than pCARS so I wouldn't choose it anyway.
azynkron DC looks great but it's quite clear that the game helps you in the corners. Just look how the game helps the driver to keep the power slide. There's no effort to it which to me is totally boring. You might as well have the game to drive the car for you. Thats a great comment. I had Alone Club. IT was a very beautiful game but besides the lacking and being arcade style the game was amazingly beautiful. One of the sexiest visual stunning games out there. I was hoping it was gonna be more of a simulator. The reason I sold my copy on eBay was because the servers where down for almost a MONTH and half. No online play or support right after release? What a joke. I'm glad its all fixed now and the game has been running fine. But that was pretty much why myself and at least 15 other friends into racing games sold it. Project cars isnt as pretty but if your looking for a simulator on the ps4 that offers more, tracks vehicles and physics. Its the better route.
I played all of them and I can say this: Driveclub: - Good simple arcade gameplay (kinda like NFS The Run); - Best visual effects ever (not the textures but the post processing effects, color balance and other things because the textures it self are not that much impressive as the rain\sun flares actually are); - Good sounds; - Fun game to play; GT6: - Simcade (kinda half sim, half arcade); - Best career of all racing games; - WORST SOUND EVER (still sound a lot like GT2 from PS1); - So many cars however some cars have like 5 same cars repeated and none with interior drawn or any difference at all (not even different steering wheel position); - Good visuals for the PS3 standards and good color balance; - I actually prefer GT2 and GT4, they were even more arcade, but also lot more fun to play Forza up to 4 (don't have a Xone to play the newer ones): - Simcade; - Best visuals on old gen consoles (but color balance isnt as good as GT, it looks more anime like); - Most fun to drive game ever in my opinion, drift everywhere with everything (we can change motors, aspiration, traction 4x4, rwd, fwd.....); - Best painting jobs since forza 1; - damage system; - Career isn't as good as GT; - Lacks Weather effects. Asseto Corsa (can't say much as I only tried a very early version and didn't like it) - simish; - Good visuals; - sry can't say much about it. Project Cars: - Simish - Good Visuals; - Actually FUN even though it is more simulator than arcade (but no drift kings in it as expected by a sim). - some cars have AWESOME sounds; - Good damage; - It has been the best experience I ever had on a racing game (not as realistic as WTCC and other Simbin games, but hell some cars are really very realistic even the brakes pressed very slightly on some cars will simply spin out right away like real life). But sadly some cars have bad handling. Simbin games (or most of them like GTR, WTCC...): - Simulator; - good sound; - good handling; - damage system; - Definitely not a fun game to play, never finished a single booring career race (can't even say those games have career at all). EXCEPT GT LEGENDS which I actually found a pretty fun game to play and actually has career.
TheAymanhawk23 ps4 is more powerful than a 5000 dollar pc that's why it's not on pc developerss think pc is a fuckin joke that's why you're stuck with theprojectbitchimeancars ps4driveclubmasterrace
totally real name Driveclub is 1080p. What are you smokin? Evolution chose a 30fps cap for parity across all systems; it never drops below 30 and could probably run higher, but the 30fps cap means that all players are at a consistent framerate regardless of position on the track.
I choose project cars any day. not a fan of arcade physics. looks like drive club is running with hotwheel physics. the game is good looking though....really looks good.
very interesting, it seems to me that Driveclub won on almost every requisite except one that was not mentioned in the video. Frame rate limitation. Driveclub is capped at 30 FPS, whereas ProjectCars can go up to however much your hardware can drive. And that counts a lot than graphics/looks. Because looking at it is one thing, playing it is another.
FernanDK in Driveclub because of the sort of arcade like physics the game can render at 30fps and isn't that big deal in the other hand project cars needs to render at 60fps so the simulation feels a lot like that. If not the game could've felt like arcade.
no they both dont have realism.. Driveclub has more of an arcade driving style, but better graphics. Projects cars is more of a racing sim with not that good graphics although its not far behind.
+Ghost72104 NOOOO DON'T BUY PROJECT CARS IT'S FUCKING SHIT GO FOR DRIVECLUB IT'S MORE REALISTIC AND THE GRAPHICS ARE WAY BETTER AND THE SOUNS AS WELL. I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU. I PLAYED PROJECT CARS AND I WAS DISAPPOINTED. THEN I TRIED DRIVECLUB AND MY MINE WAS BLOWN AWAY. AND IN THE NIGHT PROJECT CARS LOOKS LIKE A PS2 GAME. I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU MAN!
+Ghost72104 Don't listen to tafel. If you want the typical arcade type of racing then go buy driveclub. If you want something a little more challenging then buy PC. It's hard to play at first if you're not that into racing games like me but I spent a few hours playing around with it and now it's so much fun
Driveclub seems to have better, brighter colors while Project Cars has superior lighting & blacks. Driveclub has better weather effects hands down, and sound quality is equal I'd say.
Jimmy Aronsson Sounds more like you bought the propaganda they sold you and read alot of youtube comments... Both games utilize over 12 mics places in strategic locations to replicate the sounds of these cars... PCars sound engineers said they are designing the sounds as it would sound like in the cabin of the cars and went in to replicate this, along with dynamic sound for the helmet cam which is their kind of their "Known" for feature... Driveclub places sometimes upto 18 mics and specifically have said they went for what the engine sound is like from it's source.. Both are comparable for sound.. Just different focuses to what they wanted to achieve. Now the fact that PRoject cars cost 5 million to develop and Driveclub is said to cost Sony over 180 million in development... It makes you wonder... Specially because it struggles to get 12 cars on track at 30 FPS... with simplistic physics models... Where project cars can have 64 cars on track at 1080p 60 FPS with 600 physics calculations every second..... Is Project cars perfect? Hell no... But for a first run with only 5 million development budget? This game deserves all the hype it gets by gaming standards... With some money from game sales they now can purchase licenses for new car assets and tracks while being able to pay a team of developers to polish the game further. For an entry into a crowded racing game genre with legendary titles such as Gran Turismo and Forza, Assetto Corsa etc and being compared to these titles with a 5million dollar development budget is awe inspiring. Specially when the game is actually really good as a stand alone product not compared to anything.
DootDoot project cars is shit in comparison with drive club no matter the budget so cut the shit dimwit. driveclub graphics with weather effect added alone make it dump all over project cars shit i'd go as far to say this is the greatest graphical game in gaming history period. the sound effects within the environment are top tier wtf are you talking about? the frame rate is perfect you keep talking about how many cars are in drive club? when it's a known fact there have been multiple updates with many more cars added to the game through these updates. it does not struggle in the least bit to get cars on the track this is not forza fuck face.
Project Cars lightning I think isn't better, sorry it just isn't. Sound quality I say DC wins, the ones in PC sound buzzy and at 8:27 you cannot possibly say that's an MP4-12C. Though PC has slightly better gear shifts
+Lars Tillmann I don't know alot about cars so forgive me but.. I played Project Cars alot and found the sounds very.. annoying? Extremely highpitched accelleration sounds and stuff. Turn up the volume to high and your ears start to bleed. Is that really realistic? Then I prefer non-realistic.
+Son Goku The car sounds in Project Cars are pretty realistic, yes. And especially real race cars are so loud that it's easily annoying, no matter if you are inside driving them or outside watching them drive.
+Jesse Pinkman Real race cars make you deaf (not literally) from a distance away... I praise pCars for its audio realism. It and R3E are top when it comes to this.
I've got my hands to play both games - imo Project cars is a way better game. Sure, it doesn't look this good (still is beautiful I think), but it's way more realistic. DriveClub seems like a arcade race. It is fun somehow, but it's always the same. No real tracks, no pit stop, arcady gameplay. So if you want a fun arcade racer with great cars, customization and and nice graphics, get DriveClub. If you want realism and simulated, tough racing, get Project Cars. That's what I think.
Those weather effects in DC are phenomenal. It's not often I praise graphics but they are definitely immersive and on another level compared to PC. It's like a feel wet and cold just from watching and hearing it.
Drive club has nailed the rain effects (added details on the rear of the cars with rain slowly moving for example) and the immersion of travelling at high speeds. Also, the difference between the sound of the Lykan on each is interesting..
Project Cars you idiot, but even if: would it hurt your feelings too bad? whats wrong with quitting pc gaming for something else, dont be such a nerdy bitch about it
Dude go actually play project cars on pc and tell me ps4 has better graphics lmfao first off stick to battling with Xbone because that's your only argument simply because pc is in a league of its own.
I watched this and was going to say: "I always preferred the ps4 over the xbox one, due to graphics, but after watching this xbox one CARS gameplay that has higher FPS than PS4 drive club and more vivid colors, I met Jesus. I'm now going to buy myself a xbox one because it's worth a try." Only to find the title says both games on the video are on the PS4. You had one job Microsoft. Anyway, if the Scorpio has great graphics like they're saying it's going to have, I'm definitely going to give it a try. Well, this after 1 or 2 months of the release, after everyone has given their reviews about the price, the graphics, the sound, the gameplay, the controller, and how Microsoft is such an asshole when it comes to draining our money, after all they're Apple disciples.
+ProTheJump I played all of them and I can say this: Driveclub: - Good simple arcade gameplay (kinda like NFS The Run); - Best visual effects ever (not the textures but the post processing effects, color balance and other things because the textures it self are not that much impressive as the rain\sun flares actually are); GT6: - Simcade (kinda half sim, half arcade); - WORST SOUND EVER (still sound a lot like GT2 from PS1); - So many cars however some cars have like 5 same cars repeated and none with interior drawn or any difference at all (not even different steering wheel position); - Good visuals for the PS3 standards and good color balance; Forza up to 4 (don't have a Xone to play the newer ones): - Simcade; - Best visuals on old gen consoles; - Most fun to drive game ever in my opinion, drift everywhere with everything (we can change motors, aspiration, traction 4x4, rwd, fwd.....); - Best painting jobs since forza 1; - damage system Asseto Corsa (can't say much as I only tried a very early version and didn't like it) - simish; - Good visuals; - sry can't say much about it. Project Cars: - Simish - Good Visuals; - Actually FUN even though it is more simulator than arcade (but no drift kings in it as expected by a sim). - some cars have AWESOME sounds; - It has been the best experience I ever had on a racing game (not as realistic as WTCC and other Simbin games, but hell some cars are really very realistic even the brakes pressed very slightly on some cars will simply spin out right away like real life). EXCEPT GT LEGENDS which I actually found a pretty fun game to play and actually has career.
never understood the obession wwith simulation racers... isnt the point of video games to break away from reality and just have fun? who cares how realistic it feels... it still just a game..
django chubbinz A lot of people never get the chance to race a Porsche or Ferrari on a track so for a lot of us we want a chance at something that resembles the reality of that. Its the same reason I would rather play battlefield than call of duty. I get excited pretending I'm in a real war. There are obviously games that are more realistic but I'm sure you get my point. Different strokes for different folks anyway.. Sometimes the arcade games are fun too.
Amaury Lindé That's not what I meant at all. I meant its cool how it gives you that perspective. At the end of the day it isn't a real war so no harm done. If I really wanted to go to war I would sign up for the army. But I don't want to.. Just because someone plays a video game or watches a movie doesn't mean they actually want to be doing something in real life.. That's a misconception too many people make about video games...
django chubbinz Realistic games take more skill, games like NFS take almost no time to learn and then they get boring...also I dont own a garage of fast cars and a bunch of tracks in real life
A lot of comments have already addressed the comparison. I just want to add that I have trouble with seeing the back of the car when I'm driving towards the sun. I mean, why can I still see the chrome exhaust shining when clearly, the exhaust tip are in the shadow. The shadow should be dark enough to not see the rear of the car, DriveClub did exactly just that to make the game look realistic (I repeat LOOK realistic). I know that some game developers have made a deal with the car manufacturers to show the car in overhead view. But man, DriveClub broke that rule and make the game look sooo much better.
Graphics are similar, people saying one looks "far" better than either need to get their generic fanboy head out of their asses. The in car rain effect in Drive Club is boss though, it's not even a comparison. Sounds for both suck, Forza does car sounds better than anyone.
That’s because DRIVECLUB was meant to be a “simcade.” Although ai do agree with the physics being better in Project Cars, I’d prefer almost any other sim racer than it.
i think you mixed :) Really Driveclub and its dynamic weather its the best i have seen in videogames until today. no other game can compare to it. so stop comparing other games with driveclub
i am a dragster race driver and the feeling you get in cockpit in driveclub is really realistic. the speed feeling in project cars from what i see in videos because i dont have the game looks slow in my opinion and doesnt give you any high adrenaline feeling. its really a good project but not that good yet. lets wait to see both of them bring #2 :)
I´m not a Fanboy, but DriveClub looks more real than Project Cars! The weather effects, mainly rainning effects in DriveClub are fantastic. One bad thing in DriveClub and in playstation car games is that they look darker than in Xbox or PC.
I have both, and they both look nice. I'd have to say that Driveclub is a little better but not by much. It's definitely an easier game to pick up and play too.
just because you can go wit 300 km in a corner in driveclub and because the rainphysics are better doesn't mean it's a better game is 300km through a corner realistic?NO! yes, rain physics is better on driveclub but the overal graphics are better on project cars. dissagreeing with me? well, go outsideand loo how real life looks like compared to these two games and cry because of some weirdo on the internet was right about the graphics being better in project cars than a free psplus game
ok the main problem for me in driveclub was that the game is just really...fucking..boring.. i don't know why but everytime when i'm like yeah im gonna play a little bit of driveclub, it just makes want to kill myself out of boringness after 15 minutes of playing it. in project cars, there is more of a challenge in it im not saying project cars is perfect tho..when you push someone else in the grass, the car will not lose speed at all while someone else pushes you in the grass you can barrely hit the 20 miles and you will most likely lose control over your car, sometimes cars drive through you, alot of props in the game are not solid and you drive right through it, and with rainy weather in a slipery car, it is litterly impossible to drive but i think overal it is the best race game i played so far
From playing both, I would say that: Driveclub: Better looking tracks and cars Better looking weather hands down Slightly better lighting effects during certain areas Arcade driving mechanics Poor traction- cars slide as if they are on ice in hot weather (you will get used to it) Non-realistic sound but still pleasant to listen to Show cars (not used in professional racing) Difficult drifting mechanic (opinion) You must unlock cars Project Cars: Below average looking environments and rain Decent looking cars and tracks (driveclub beats it by a little) Superior traction- tires can be changed based on weather and terrain Shifter carts can be a bit choppy to control without practice (every other car is good) Race cars with some imports thrown in (such as the audi r8) Strong sense of realism in sound Little to no drifting (the game is better played without it) Access to all cars from beginning (racing league specific)
RoadleGaming, that's fine if you think PC has better sound but honestly go to 8:27 and tell me what that sounds like... Not an MP4-12C. I think PC sounds good but in accuracy it's not special.
Muva u Letu In max setting at PC no console ever will look better than the Pc by itself. But side to side in ps4 you can see the difference between one and other. If you look close enough you that are a PC gamer(assuming by your comment) can see that driveclub looks way more detailed and the light effects are better than most of consoles racing games. NEVER it will surpase max settings at a High rendering PC
who gives a fuck about graphics. if you love cars and realism as far as sound goes project cars is the shit. if you want a digital cluster fuck yeah sure play drive club
Thank you guys for 1 milion views!

The water in drive club wtf! GLORIOUS! Hands down best water physics I've ever seen where it is not the main feature.
Just seeing the animation of the paddles move when shifting up and down through the gears on Drive Club makes you realize how much of a masterpiece of a game it is. It's little details like this that engages you more into the game play. This game is sooooo underrated.
This rain effect in driveclub is stunning!!! Much better than any other game
Really good!
I hate it when the fake tracks are better than 90% of the real ones. Driveclub really needs more recognition, shame it had a troubled start.
minimilla Drive Club is honestly the only racing game that should be played on PS4 at all... Xbox One Has Forza, and PC has... well... it has tons of Great racing games that should simply stay on PC.
minimilla Driveclub's tracks are really impressive. Whoever designed them deserves credit, because they're intricate and challenging, and they really reward good driving. RunFromBlaine Evo has a great history with track design. The MotorStorm series always had really good, complex, challenging layouts.
minimilla it's getting more attention with each second. Driveclub is genuine. even though the start was a bit rough
minimilla they add more new details and improve the locations with each update. real talk, real work
My god the rain effect in about 5:57 when the wipers work, the rain on the windshield and the outside looks horrible in Project Cars!
teamracing07 In the race it's not bad actually ;p But yes, it looks little funny :)
Redmitsu actually it is unless you wipe driveclub from your memory. it looks terrible in comparison.
teamracing07 do u know what kind of processing power is needed to have awesome graphics with rain?
there is a reason why rain doesnt exist in games
there is a reason why apple limits their apps to their apps only and disabled flash
because people like you complain about something you all know nothing about, performance requirement which is the reason why windows is most of the time a fail unless you are advanced enough and have the power requirement enough for it to not be slow
ant a Then tell me why does DriveClub running on PS4 have the greatest rain effect ever in a game?
teamracing07 idk, maybe because it's arcadey and leaves out lots of real rain physics
Drive club looks way better especially with the weather effects.
minners71 You're talking about DriveClub patch? If yes, then I must agree with you :)
José Lopes look forward to the challenge.
the comparison is very clear, "DRIVECLUB" is the best.♥♥♥
3:07 wtf is this shit
+Dio Stura Lavandini It's called nighttime.
Pretty realistic if you ask me
+Samuel Muñoz isn't realistic project cars xD
seems like you need a fucking sarcasm detector
+Samuel Muñoz lol
It's looks like a fucking ps2 game
The sense of speed is EVERYTHING in a racing game, Driveclub nails that perfectly. Driveclub is the racing game that I would design given the chance. My only gripe with Driveclub is the weird lack of American and Japanese cars, and real-world tracks would be nice. The lack of customization doesn't bother me, but for other people it definitely would so I get that.
Driveclub wins
CrunchiBox you need to know driveclub isnt a simulator, but yeah the company that made the game do too much effort on graphics.
Jonhy Garza project cars still feels like shift to me
CrunchiBox hands down
Yeah on those aspects, but the gameplay on project cars is better. And Driveclub lost my interest when they started drifting around every single corner...
-If you have a REAL INTEREST in everything automotive, have a brain that can compare reality to video games, and enjoy 1080p/60fps over 30fps on *THE PC MASTER-RACE*; then the obvious choice is *_Project Cars_**.*

driveclub wins easily
***** If you had read what Evolution Studios said when they were developing Driveclub, they could have done 60fps and still kept the graphical fidelity as it is now. Dont know why on PC there are no games with this graphics, probably there are missing great designers.
James Frog Adjust the field of view, Project cars now looks faster.
James Frog Try DC on VR googles and then feel the difference between "DC" and "PC"
Driveclub till now the benchmark of weather effects
it still is though🤣
Glad I gave driveclub another chance. The game may have been horrible when it came out but now it's amazing.
ikr.... it's actually a great game now
Driveclub, of course ;)
Thanks for the effort! Great comparison :)
Syam Tajuddin It was my pleasure ; )
project cars=most realistic racing game you can get
driveclub=very fun realistic looking arcadey racer
neither game can or should be compared.
InTheZoneAXC Finally somebody who understands it, is like comparing a ship with a truck
InTheZoneAXC i think you meant: the second most realistic racing game you can get (P.Cars). Lets not forget about the Gran Turismo Series :)
EMRE55TURK GT6 is probably the most realistic game in terms of feels, not visuals. Tuning is real, feedback is real. Project Cars doesn't feel like a great game at all
EMRE55TURK Wow, a PS3 title.. lol, I needed that laugh..
Here's a Sound Comparison:
Driveclub - Brrrrrrrrr, Weeeeeeeee, Woooooosh
Project Cars - GAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR
9/8 Would listen Again - IGN
GTX1080 lmaoo 😂😂
During Rain, DRIVECLUB is the most realistic game ever
no lol gran turismo is worst than driveclub
fine
And here we have another dumbfuck that doesn't even know the laws of physics and stays in house all day.
DriveClub all day!
May I ask, how do you get the camera to slowly circle and move around the cockpit / drivers seat like that? Smoothly and randomly like a real head/eye movement? Both Drivelub (ps4) and project cars? 1:47 and 0:11 and 2:58 and 5:45
They are controlled with the right thumbstick in Driveclub. During gameplay you can look around and in photo mode orbit around the vehicle.
DriveClub is gorgeous. Great video.
Hey man ! how did you record this in 1080p video ?
what pc configurations required to play games like this?
+VInay Kumar Driveclub is only on PS4, Project Cars is recorded on ps4 too ; )
Driveclub win in graphic, but if we talking about Gameplay & Sound, I'm gonna choose Project CARS.
man driveclub really knows that sense of speed, something project cars needs to work on, oh and the rain on the windshield for project cars, that is ridiculous haha
Drive club wins it. The end. I wish that game comes to Xbox
Why it only has 50 cars its physics are pretty dam shitty and its only 30fps the only thing it has its graphics and thats about it get forza 6 it will 28 tracks 450+ cars and it will be 1080p 60fps this game looks nice but its just gets really repetitive
+Minecraft Racer Lol if you had an Xbox and Drive Club was on it, it'd spend my money on Forza 6
+Jeff Zammit I did
Amazing grammar guys
+somesh jagbeer never mind that, can we move on to the sound. Sure, Project CARS did meet that requirement, somewhat. Drive club put better emphasis on the racing gearbox, but that ruins the engine sound. And with the R8 V10+, drive club didn't help the sound. It didn't sound like a Lamborghini V10. But the Mclaren sound, project CARS was off by
That much of a gap.
Love it, keep making new videos :). Subscribed!
Then it's probably a dead race between them, but DC still has less features than pCARS so I wouldn't choose it anyway.
azynkron Imo, even with all the DLC Race07 lacks cars :(
Killian Weise-Desbois There are always mods?
Jane Bentt On Race07 ? Some mods ? I don't know anything about that x)
azynkron DC looks great but it's quite clear that the game helps you in the
corners. Just look how the game helps the driver to keep the power
slide. There's no effort to it which to me is totally boring. You might
as well have the game to drive the car for you.
Its the better route.
azynkron Fuck you and your opinion.
This is the interwebz, bitch.
When i was younger i thought driveclub was real life
I played all of them and I can say this:
Driveclub:
- Good simple arcade gameplay (kinda like NFS The Run);
- Best visual effects ever (not the textures but the post processing
effects, color balance and other things because the textures it self are
not that much impressive as the rain\sun flares actually are);
- Good sounds;
- Fun game to play;
GT6:
- Simcade (kinda half sim, half arcade);
- Best career of all racing games;
- WORST SOUND EVER (still sound a lot like GT2 from PS1);
- So many cars however some cars have like 5 same cars repeated and none
with interior drawn or any difference at all (not even different
steering wheel position);
- Good visuals for the PS3 standards and good color balance;
- I actually prefer GT2 and GT4, they were even more arcade, but also lot more fun to play
Forza up to 4 (don't have a Xone to play the newer ones):
- Simcade;
- Best visuals on old gen consoles (but color balance isnt as good as GT, it looks more anime like);
- Most fun to drive game ever in my opinion, drift everywhere with
everything (we can change motors, aspiration, traction 4x4, rwd,
fwd.....);
- Best painting jobs since forza 1;
- damage system;
- Career isn't as good as GT;
- Lacks Weather effects.
Asseto Corsa (can't say much as I only tried a very early version and
didn't like it)
- simish;
- Good visuals;
- sry can't say much about it.
Project Cars:
- Simish
- Good Visuals;
- Actually FUN even though it is more simulator than arcade (but no
drift kings in it as expected by a sim).
- some cars have AWESOME sounds;
- Good damage;
- It has been the best experience I ever had on a racing game (not as
realistic as WTCC and other Simbin games, but hell some cars are really
very realistic even the brakes pressed very slightly on some cars will
simply spin out right away like real life). But sadly some cars have bad handling.
Simbin games (or most of them like GTR, WTCC...):
- Simulator;
- good sound;
- good handling;
- damage system;
- Definitely not a fun game to play, never finished a single booring
career race (can't even say those games have career at all). EXCEPT GT
LEGENDS which I actually found a pretty fun game to play and actually
has career.
God Driveclub looks almost fucking real and its only on the PS4 imagine if it were to go to PC!!! A man can only dream
TheAymanhawk23 ps4 is more powerful than a 5000 dollar pc that's why it's not on pc developerss think pc is a fuckin joke that's why you're stuck with theprojectbitchimeancars ps4driveclubmasterrace
***** I hope you're joking lol (ik ur joking)
Crysis 3 and star citizen both look better and run 1080p 60fps on sub 1000$ pcs with all settings maxed out. While driveclub is 900p and 30fps
totally real name Driveclub is 1080p. What are you smokin?
Evolution chose a 30fps cap for parity across all systems; it never drops below 30 and could probably run higher, but the 30fps cap means that all players are at a consistent framerate regardless of position on the track.
Crazee73 oops, my bad, must have mixed it up with some other game
Driveclub is gorgeous, imagine how it could look on a PC with higher settings!
Too bad it's on PS4 :D
+Godzillafan well i have a ps4 so whats your point?
+Schindlers fist higher settings? you mean real life graphics?
+Zlatan Ibrahimović definitely photo realistic
princeviny17 I have it now and the photo editor is next level
Driveclub>Real Life>Project Cars
KAZ
Project Cars = Driveclub > Real Life? ; )
Redmitsu Games nice
CrunchiBox
AKbizzy_PS4 nahh drive club won
So you think driveclub is better than real life... You need to check your brain..
Which one do you recommend of either of these two
This is 2 really different games. Drive Club for good graphics and fun, and Project Cars for realistic simulation and nice car sounds :)
What setup/settings are the best for McLaren P1 in Project CARS?
I choose project cars any day. not a fan of arcade physics. looks like drive club is running with hotwheel physics. the game is good looking though....really looks good.
Both game support Logitech G27 Racing Wheel? :D
very interesting, it seems to me that Driveclub won on almost every requisite except one that was not mentioned in the video.
FernanDK I play drive club and I think it plays very well.
U can turn off camera shake= less sense of speed but looks smoother
FernanDK Nah its looks exactly the same on my tv
is driveclub only for ps4????can't i get it for pc somewhere?
In terms of graphics, I'll take Driveclub. However,
in terms of sound and a bit of realism then I'll take Project Cars.
+Ghost72104 project cars, you have more realism in the game with all the tracks. Driveclub is good but doesnt really feel like a race game
no they both dont have realism..
It's hard to play at first if you're not that into racing games like me but I spent a few hours playing around with it and now it's so much fun
but driveclub is better at one thing. Graphics. but who buys a racing game for the graphics lol!
THE HOT BRAKE EFFECT WAS THE FINAL STRAW.....WOW DRIVECLUB! ,SOUND,WEATHER ,AMAZING
Is driveclub an openworld game? Just wondering
You're fucking deaf? Lol
3:28 Look at those little buttons on the left!! Even they have light effects on them. That is insane!
PS4 Driveclub beats the overhyped Project Cars easy :-D :-D
+1984rockabilly In terms of graphics, yes. But considering everything else, no.
+1984rockabilly for real dude, i think project cars looks like shit on alot of videos
+Jesse Pinkman Real race cars make you deaf (not literally) from a distance away... I praise pCars for its audio realism. It and R3E are top when it comes to this.
how did you get that car
Forget about sounds and graphics, which is more fun to play?
DriveClub
I've got my hands to play both games - imo Project cars is a way better game. Sure, it doesn't look this good (still is beautiful I think), but it's way more realistic. DriveClub seems like a arcade race. It is fun somehow, but it's always the same. No real tracks, no pit stop, arcady gameplay.
So if you want a fun arcade racer with great cars, customization and and nice graphics, get DriveClub. If you want realism and simulated, tough racing, get Project Cars.
That's what I think.
BTW: Played both games with a wheel.
I got Project Cars when it was released, got bored within a few days of playing it.
***** That's a dam shame.
Those weather effects in DC are phenomenal. It's not often I praise graphics but they are definitely immersive and on another level compared to PC. It's like a feel wet and cold just from watching and hearing it.
Driveclub looks better by a mile.
2020 and I still love Driveclub. 😉👍
Wenn ich mir das Spiel heutzutage kaufe, kann ich dann die Updates für das Spiel noch laden, da die Server down sind (ich meine NICHT die DLCs)?
wow.drive club is actually better
Do you have xbox one? probably in the future when F6 release you may do a video comparing this three amazing games.
Jonhy Garza Unfortunately I don't have XONE, but in the future I'll compare Asseto Corsa with Project Cars on PS4 or new NFS with DC ; )
Gran turismo you will not be missed.
EXACTLY
Drive club has nailed the rain effects (added details on the rear of the cars with rain slowly moving for example) and the immersion of travelling at high speeds. Also, the difference between the sound of the Lykan on each is interesting..
11:59 omg
how come the p1's active spoiler doesn't move on PC
The weather in project cars is kinda crappy compared to drive club
(from a pc and xbox person)
Man. How DriveClub looks still astounds in the look department, every time I see it.
drive club is better , the graphics are much more realistic than project cars graphics . This is just my opinion .
Amazing review... keep it up.
driveclub better than project and win
Allan San Sounds better in this vid as well. That RUF roars!
Yups that true mate
1:27 lol that fire effect
Drivegasm? Glorious PS4 Master Race
***** DC got both so suck it
lol i quit playing PC because of DC, so much for changing my opinion XD
Project Cars you idiot, but even if: would it hurt your feelings too bad? whats wrong with quitting pc gaming for something else, dont be such a nerdy bitch about it
***** nvm
Dude go actually play project cars on pc and tell me ps4 has better graphics lmfao first off stick to battling with Xbone because that's your only argument simply because pc is in a league of its own.
why when the pilot accelerate on project cars we don't see his feet moving?
I watched this and was going to say:
"I always preferred the ps4 over the xbox one, due to graphics, but after watching this xbox one CARS gameplay that has higher FPS than PS4 drive club and more vivid colors, I met Jesus.
I'm now going to buy myself a xbox one because it's worth a try."
Only to find the title says both games on the video are on the PS4.
PROJECT CARS*
Drive clube its a monster. The graphics its just WOW.
driveclub is way bettet
better*
MrMemesBilly
Shut up You fucking SHIT
Woah. Driveclub.....we need more of that in simulated style racing,
drive club better in everything and this guy can't even play it!!!
Driveclub is an arcade racer. Real players go for the sim - Project Cars.
+Mubble Mann then compare it to the precious gen. gran turismo games...and still loses
Gran Turismo? Wow, that game is 10 years behind the competition. Project Cars is the benchmark for sim racers.
Mubble Mann nope, then you definitely didnt play asetto corsa
+ProTheJump I played all of them and I can say this:
Driveclub:

What driving game for ps4 should i get???
never understood the obession wwith simulation racers... isnt the point of video games to break away from reality and just have fun? who cares how realistic it feels... it still just a game..
django chubbinz A lot of people never get the chance to race a Porsche or Ferrari on a track so for a lot of us we want a chance at something that resembles the reality of that.
That's a misconception too many people make about video games...
stevesartstudio totaly get you mate and I couldn't agree more with you :)
django chubbinz Realistic games take more skill, games like NFS take almost no time to learn and then they get boring...also I dont own a garage of fast cars and a bunch of tracks in real life
I love realistic games, and hate games like Mass Effect, its boring and stupid for me...
The sound in Project CARS is terrible. Every car sounds the same. Like an electric weed whacker.
does project cars have an open world?
Graphics are similar, people saying one looks "far" better than either need to get their generic fanboy head out of their asses. The in car rain effect in Drive Club is boss though, it's not even a comparison. Sounds for both suck, Forza does car sounds better than anyone.
with is better for simulator?
Jimmy Tapia Driveclub is an arcade project cars is a full on sim. So project cars for sure.
pro gamer
seems like handling in driveclub are for babies..........project cars is real ,every car handles differently.
Exactly,
That’s because DRIVECLUB was meant to be a “simcade.” Although ai do agree with the physics being better in Project Cars, I’d prefer almost any other sim racer than it.
Driveclub... I love the sound of cars , graphics, serious
and then in one sennse DrivecIub peas
Driveclub has better graphics over all it's as simple as that.
+kicksoffs and PCars is better in everything else. since physics, damage model, etc > just graphics, then PCars is better as overall game. so simple
+kicksoffs no car shadow mclaren p1 scene driveclub, and environment looks better in project cars as well...sorry :)
+mariusz rogowski Driveclub has better environment. Go look at the snow levels and tell me if that's better than Driveclub
Is there a R-35 in project cars??
The cars in Driveclub feel like they're on $20 used tires
13:36 anyone noticed that it shifted the left paddle instead of the right
project cars looks so real
i think you mixed :) Really Driveclub and its dynamic weather its the best i have seen in videogames until today. no other game can compare to it. so stop comparing other games with driveclub
Driveclub does look amazing but in a somewhat unrealistic way. Pcars is just raw, and incredibly realistic. They're both amazing games :)
i am a dragster race driver and the feeling you get in cockpit in driveclub is really realistic. the speed feeling in project cars from what i see in videos because i dont have the game looks slow in my opinion and doesnt give you any high adrenaline feeling. its really a good project but not that good yet. lets wait to see both of them bring #2 :)
+polis1mbit I'm super hyped for assetto corsa too
Bro Assetto is Brilliant :)
I´m not a Fanboy, but DriveClub looks more real than Project Cars! The weather effects, mainly rainning effects in DriveClub are fantastic. One bad thing in DriveClub and in playstation car games is that they look darker than in Xbox or PC.
The biggest different? 30 fps and 60 fps. Nuf said
na bro naaaa
+TehReelSanic lmao xD
+kuhmilch Console gamers ....^^
+RideOrangeKTM A PC is a console? .-.
P1Z1K
Don't be a smart ass lol
hahaha @ 4:03 the Caterham in Driveclub sounds like an electric weed wacker
Project cars at night looks terrible
I have both, and they both look nice.
I'd have to say that Driveclub is a little better but not by much.
It's definitely an easier game to pick up and play too.
just because you can go wit 300 km in a corner in driveclub and because the rainphysics are better doesn't mean it's a better game
is 300km through a corner realistic?NO! yes, rain physics is better on driveclub but the overal graphics are better on project cars. dissagreeing with me? well, go outsideand loo how real life looks like compared to these two games and cry because of some weirdo on the internet was right about the graphics being better in project cars than a free psplus game
+N0 300 in the corner haha
go back to sleep kido
project cars have better physics than driveclub,but driveclub has better graphics and sounds
nvidia fucked up project cars graphics
+niko laine or atleast some of the sounds are better driveclub
ok the main problem for me in driveclub was that the game is just really...fucking..boring..
i don't know why but everytime when i'm like yeah im gonna play a little bit of driveclub, it just makes want to kill myself out of boringness after 15 minutes of playing it.
in project cars, there is more of a challenge in it
im not saying project cars is perfect tho..when you push someone else in the grass, the car will not lose speed at all while someone else pushes you in the grass you can barrely hit the 20 miles and you will most likely lose control over your car, sometimes cars drive through you, alot of props in the game are not solid and you drive right through it, and with rainy weather in a slipery car, it is litterly impossible to drive
but i think overal it is the best race game i played so far
+N00b Tube have they yet fixed the damage for project cars?
They have to work together, both are amazing !
Something like Project Club.
I like how youtube comment sections are a bunch of 12 year olds posting their irrelevent opinions
From playing both, I would say that:
Driveclub:
Better looking tracks and cars
Better looking weather hands down
Slightly better lighting effects during certain areas
Arcade driving mechanics
Poor traction- cars slide as if they are on ice in hot weather (you will get used to it)
Non-realistic sound but still pleasant to listen to
Show cars (not used in professional racing)
Difficult drifting mechanic (opinion)
You must unlock cars
Project Cars:
Below average looking environments and rain
Decent looking cars and tracks (driveclub beats it by a little)
Superior traction- tires can be changed based on weather and terrain
Shifter carts can be a bit choppy to control without practice (every other car is good)
Race cars with some imports thrown in (such as the audi r8)
Strong sense of realism in sound
Little to no drifting (the game is better played without it)
Access to all cars from beginning (racing league specific)
Jimmy Aronsson It was a exaggeration but I just wanted to make it clear that project cars had better sound.
.
RoadleGaming, that's fine if you think PC has better sound but honestly go to 8:27 and tell me what that sounds like... Not an MP4-12C. I think PC sounds good but in accuracy it's not special.
anyone else think that Drive Club doesn't look very good? It's almost like a cartoon
project car's mclaren's steering wheel is in the right side and drive club's one is in the left side???
project cars McLaren is broken then. drive clubber #1
yup
Project cars wins 100% graphic detail is better then drive club
Muva u Letu The comparison was done on PS4. I love project cars, but Driveclub was able to maximize the consoles abilities.
Project cars on pc with max settings looks better then ps4 and other consoles
We know, but this is z console comparison. It's kind of unfair to compare PC to console as there really is no comparison :p
ye, you're right
Muva u Letu In max setting at PC no console ever will look better than the Pc by itself. But side to side in ps4 you can see the difference between one and other. If you look close enough you that are a PC gamer(assuming by your comment) can see that driveclub looks way more detailed and the light effects are better than most of consoles racing games. NEVER it will surpase max settings at a High rendering PC
I kinda want project cars coz it takes me back to the V8 Supercar game on PS2
oh my God!... Project cars sound terrible
Like a NFS Shift wannabe
The rainbow in 07:31 on Driveclub is just awesome and realistic
who gives a fuck about graphics. if you love cars and realism as far as sound goes project cars is the shit. if you want a digital cluster fuck yeah sure play drive club
+Brad you just like to watch the world burn.
I don't think you know how to use that quote
you don't know what you're talking about
I have both and I can say without a doubt Driveclub is way better looking, better sound, and WAYYYYY more realistic than Project CARS
Way more reallistic.....u mean in graphics or physics..cuz if u mean in physics i just want to punch you..
Graphic : DriveClub.
Engine Sound : Project Cars.
You can get more realistic driving experience from Project Cars.
trickman8 I think the engine sound in DRIVELCLUB is far better. It’s just muffled, really.
