You can tell dave gets a bit pissed off at times with being constantly interrupted and people not listening to his instruction. He does well to keep it together

you bring animals to a host who is TERRIFIED of them, your'd be lucky to share any info at all.

@@azhari7968 i suppose that's possible, but I feel like it isn't really an act for the audience bc 1. He does have to handle dangerous animals around people who don't have experience with safety around animals and 2. He is clearly very passionate about animals and education. When you're passionate and want to tell people about your passions, it gets really frustrating very quickly when they keep interrupting or making jokes. Honestly, I don't blame him for getting frustrated with the host and guest. Sure, the show relies on jokes, but when it comes to animals like the Snapping Turtle, maaaaybe dial it back a bit and let the expert give you instructions and information.

Fun fact about snapping turtles: they used to be used to find dead bodies in lakes. They were tied to ropes, dropped into the water, and when they stopped moving, it meant that they found a body and started feeding on the body.

@@katiekane5247 I almost cleared out a coffee shop that way once. A fellow bought in his pet python (white and yellow bands) and the gal at the counter was so frightened she wouldn't serve him. I asked the owner if I could just hold the snake for him until he got his coffee. The fun part was people were waiting in line nearby and I was at a high table with the snake; they'd smile at me and then their looks turned to horrified expressions when they realized what I was holding. Such fun!!!!

Why do the producers never listen to what the audience has to say? Every time this guy comes on this show, Jimmy never shuts up and never lets him speak. It makes no sense in any way to conduct this interview the way he does.

It seems to me that American talk shows are much more about the host than about the guests. The only one that (barely) changes that setting is Colbert.

The alligator snapping turtle's bite sounds like a pair of scissors cutting paper. Nasty bite! Also, I would have a hard time being near a skunk because I'm risking myself by being sprayed.
