Parenthood is definitely a season change! My first is just 1yr and I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant. In Feb. we got sick, then moved, then got sick again in March 😐 We missed almost 2 months of church and on Easter was our first service back and I was so happy to just be back in the presence of the Lord 🙌🏼 It is just a season though. I know even our prayer life and walk with God gets shaken up when our schedules revolve around babies but we just keep pressing forward and God will always be faithful!!
I liked your message at the end. So true that the point of this life is not to maximize experiences. It’s to serve God, and often that means sacrificing things we want to do to meet someone else’s need.

My husband and I had our first child (baby girl) almost 7months ago and it has been the most stretching experience - filled with such joyous moments AND frustrating ones too. At 3 minutes in though, Micah is front-facing in the carrier. I have a 7-week old and my midwives just warned me it is bad for baby’s hips to have them face that way 😱
