B Slade talks Lexi Show sexuality announcement with Hollywood Unlocked [UNCENSORED]

Gospel artist B.Slade swung by Hollywood Unlocked Uncensored this week and shared why he was disappointed after his Lexi Show interview back in in 2010 saying, "I was blacklisted and I felt that Lexi "tried it" because she never questioned my gospel counterparts of being gay". When it comes to the black church, B.Slade feels that they should speak about both sides of homosexuality, "lesbianism is never talked about in the black church, being a gay male is always blown out of proportion". He also spoke about what inspired his transition from Tonex to B.Slade saying, it was the passing of his parents and the movie called the Velvet Goldmine which helped him transition. B.Slade didn't leave without shading Kirk Franklinand Donnie Mckirkland about gay allegations, talking about his soon-to-come biopic, and his mixtape coming out in December.

I hated seeing him get blacklisted in the gospel community. His voice is beyond amazing. The day he returns I pray that he can't be stopped. He's really that great. Thanks Gio, Melissa and Jason.

It shows us how hypocritical some Christians can be. It is sad that they don't practice what they preach. I guess they forgot that they will be judged in the same way in which they judge.
Being a fan of Tonex and also being disappointed with his position as it stands in the church, I totally respect his decision to walk in truth. This interview made me think objectively of him. He definitely made a point as to how the church judges and forever he will have respect and support
I know his life is unconventional, but I hope his story helps someone know that Jesus loves them regardless if people do.

Wow. This episode was powerful. Who said you could only get a sermon in church? I wish the world, including myself, had this much power to completely stand in their truth in EVERY aspect of our lives.
No grown man or woman should have to explain their sexuality to anyone. I am blessed to never had to come out of the closet since I came out in elementary school, and have been openly gay ever since. Only Jesus can validate us to God, so we don't need your approval if you're human! Proud of Tonex for coming out!

@@doubtingdennis Yes I had crushes, & yes that's normal for children. It is considered normal for children under 12 years old to have same sex like. The reason being, is they haven't reached puberty yet. Thus the "like" is not sexualized. Prior to puberty, children are only sexualized if they have been molested or experienced sexual trauma. So making some definitive statement about "coming out in elementary school as openly g@y", raises plenty of reed flags.

I'm so sorry for the multiple comments but, this is my fav so for far. I'm a southern woman who definitely see the hurt that's been passed on to the gay community. I myself love all! Who am I to say God doesn't love ALL his children. I'm glad I don't think that way and that's how I'm raising my children. Lord knows I'm not perfect. I want to continue to grow and evolve in love! Kudos to Jason for the perspective he has on respecting his "friend's" sole political view. We are all INDEPENDENT thinkers....We have to get beyond demonizing our friends and loved ones because they don't think as we do. Okay Tonex bslade contradicted himself at the end of the interview. He was mad at homeboy for calling him the b word. He said it disrespects him as a man. So he said earlier that he's not a gender but clearly he identifies with male. He is so confused. Man this world is sad. But we as Christians still have to show love and pray for these brothers.

I am on the late show. Why am I just now hearing about this show? Melissa, Jason, and Gio y'all got a fan for life. Ya'll funny and real. OK, bout BSlade. I knew him when he was Tonex. I booked him for his very first appearance in Wisconsin. Even then I knew how real he was. My then church CFFC and Pastor embraced him immediately. Apparently something happened and I never found out what. I never knew how deep his struggle was even though I suspected he went through some shit. But I lost contact with him but will always love that brother. Anyway I'm glad to have found your show.

So, the very person Tonex/B Slade is today, HE WAS THE BLACK CHURCH that he is talking about that he didn't accept.
Except for Jason trying to reflect his own gay image on Kirk Franklin and being disrespectful calling him a she. And, still talking about himself after Melissa finished asking Tonex about his brother's death. Other than that this was a good interview thanks to Tonex.
