Gooseworx has actually confirmed the character's ages in the form of a list when a fan asked about it.

Jax-22
Zooble - 22
Ragatha - 30 (or 31, can't remember, but it was one of the two)

And Caine and Bubble don't have ages cuz they're AI lol

Well, the original truck stayed on the "surface," then Pomni and Gummigoo took the one that was in the Dev room assets.
I'm glad you said that cuz I realized in post my question didn't make sense - I more meant "how" are there two, I know why it happened in terms of sequence of events but I more was wondering why it's possible, and if it could be possible to generate two, seemingly sentient, identical NPC's

If I can recommend shows to check out, I would recommend Gildedguy on RUclips. He is another pillar of RUclips animation and my favorite RUclips animator personally. His "story" series shows his progress as an animator over the years and is about 1 and a half hours in full. On top of that, he is releasing a new episode here in a few days. Anyhoo, great reaction bud, I really liked a lot of the insights you offered to the episode.
Jax is still my favorite character I'm really interested in seeing where they take him! I love the chaos he sows I think it adds a lot of entertainment value
Gangle is my favorite i love her very much lol. I hope the breaking her mask so she is sad mode dont not stick to be her thing. Its funny a few times but i want to see what the voice actress can do with different emotions. Poor gummi going poof but i can understand chaine dont want to be confuse. I wanted to see some of the mayhem at the end. Jax tryed hard to make it happen i wanted to see some of the wood puppet get eaten.

I’ve heard that the creator says that Jax is canonically chaotic evil and will,get worse with every episode. It’ll be interesting to see just how far he goes and what that means for the plot overall.

Was definitely surprised by the upscale in animation quality from the pilot especially with how smooth it was during the rig chase.
That whole sequences making use of the 3D environment must have made rendering it a b!tch.

I have no idea who my favorite character is, partly because I kinda feel a bunch of them could turn at any point. Bubble seems the most consistently funny/cute so maybe I’d go with them. Although Caine fascinates me endlessly, I’m not sure I can say I really like him… but I do really want to find out more about him.
I have a theory that when Pomni came to the circus she either brought with her, or somehow is, a virus. A lot of big glitches seem to take place around her, and she seems to get more unintentional peeks behind the curtain because of them. Or you know, it’s two episodes in and we seem to be following Pomni as a main character more that the rest so far so we just haven’t seen other characters have similar experiences. Time will tell I suppose.
Oh and I’m down for whatever theory/philosophy vids you post. I like weird stuff, and digging deep into it is just fun for me. I’m def someone who ends up sometimes more interested in the world building and what it means for the characters, than the characters themselves. If that makes sense.

Also, i think it’s worth keeping in mind how Jax was not amongst the Hands at the end there, I am aware that could’ve just been due to him not joining the Funeral, but considering what Gooseworx has said about him, it could be a hint towards how things might be in the Future.

I bet Jax is gonna be abstracted in the next episode. He seems like he's going to snap at any given time right now. He wasn't even at the funeral at the end.
I don't know why you think he will abstract in next episode. Jax is gooseworx's favorite character. And he feels like a one of main characters.
At lest in the season 1 the finale, but I highly doubt it.
That wasn't him losing himself, it was showing that he doesn't do funerals. What you should really be thinking of is which character is an npc. Cain said he can forget which is which. Maybe its Jax.
If you’re looking for more indie animation to cover, I highly recommend the Spooky Month series by Sr. Pelo. Basically image if you took the wacky, cartoony horror of Courage the Cowardly Dog or Billy & Mandy, and combined it with the emotional beats and ARG mystery elements of Gravity Falls.
