Appreciate the tips atkpwr! Lot to learn from a lot of mistakes. Hard see in real game time but easy to see now. Map and deck was not the greatest for how long range most of the game was. Air tab basically useless against a good AA deck.
Default keyset 4:02 - N, the fastmove/attack "button"/key is N (J is "call artillery"). 5:06 - Fastmove/unload is Y, yes. Btw. I agree with all the comments made by AtkPwr. Also, I'd add, try playing some more on single player (until you win again and again in hard mode). It's good training. You start to learn what every unit does (not just, "what weapon it has", but even, "what damage it will do to what unit, how often it hits against what unit, what distance to keep to what unit, etc). And, as AtkPwr pointed out, and I agree with, you need to memorise the N (fastmove/attack) key, the Y (fastmove then unload at here) key, and various other keys. This will happen if you play single player again and again and again. Try very easy, until that's easy for you to beat, then bump it up to easy until that's easy for you to beat, bump it up to medium, etc. It will be a bit boring, but it'll teach you a lot.
If I had a dom-kink, I would buy Patreon and send in my games so ATKPWR has to review them. Haha. But seriously, thanks for bringing that game into the internet for us all to see, Kegger. Very helpful for newb/noob players like me apart from - I guess - being very hekpful for your play. So many quoteable lines in this as well, different from high(er) level casts. 29:57 When AtkPwr is telling you to use less arty, then you positively have too much arty. :D
I got an auxiliary, hand sized keypad for my left hand to link the hotkeys to, which helped a lot. It’s not necessary, I have health issues with my hands, but learning the hotkeys is absolutely necessary imo.
I am still not sure after various different thoughts about it and testing it, so I will just quickly ask: What does the Batterie-Führer / Artillery Leader do? (The Leader unit in the arty tab)
As mentioned in the in-game tooltip, they act like a unit leader (improving the veterancy of all units within their circle of influence by 1 step), and they grant the "Radio" trait to all artillery units in their circle of influence that are not mortars or rocket-launchers (if the unit does not already have a radio).
I’m thinking he drove those armored cars behind the lake because of that enormous bulge in front line, as a newer player too, the front line mechanic can have some weird bulges deeper than you’d expect, considering what’s causing them.
From my own experience, the only offmap that is super effective in killing stuff would be the Allied Rocket Offmap. (1st SSB for example, or Maneuvergroup Vyborg if I'm not wrong)
@@opsroyal one of 6th airborne offmaps fire huge ammount of shots, it fills entire circle with craters. Goering 600mm offmap is somewhat deadly too, but it is unconviniently called by recon plane
definitely has a pretty slim infantry selection until C phase where nearly half of his infantry are. I have also noticed the few ranked matches I have played that the lower ranked players cluster up arty into blobs and try to spam it a lot.
For the deck of this guy I would say few things. 1) He should probably fit 2nd card of calarasi in B and keep the 2 cards on 1vet due to how good snipers are. 2) Upveting C card of rasiori since for time limit game it 32 in C is too much especialy for Mav. 3) he is playing ca dunkirk So lunchs are close to useless due to pzshreks on jagdkampfso it is better to run stug leader in A and normal stug in B or rotates 4) Better to run 45mm 2vet since you do nit loose a lot and you gain like 2/3 rof. 5) vickers aa is very bad No need to take it especialy when you have sdkfz 7/1 6) 81mm is not needed when you have 60mm So better to take arty leader in B instead. Also 122mm is better 1 vet as it gives it bonuses in only role it is good at being direct fire support 7) running HS cluster in B is too much considering that he has only 2 tank cards and all of them you can kill with stugs and rasitsa
thanks for "casting my video" :D i was the enemy- CaptainSatan
Let's play mister Satan... I myself am leaning and trying to get into pvp
Good game! Thanks for giving us a good match to watch!

Thanks for always reminding me of the default buttons haha 😆

Along with the above comment, it does improve the dispersion of the arty piece by I believe 10%, although it might be 5 I can’t remember

Understandable that could be it. But the armor car doesn’t even affect the line so it doesn’t help you figure it out
Yeah, I figured that was a "I have to find that unit"-moment.
It would be awesome if you cast some more low elo games I find them fascinating.
I have some coming up soon!
What are other ways to take out an IS 2 or Jumbo, other than elefant or king tiger?
P.s i have no AT aircrafts.
if you have no AT guns or AT aircrafts then ur next best bet should be getting a side shot or using Heavy arty on the IS2 or Jumbo
In most effective order, side shot, rocket arty, mortars, heavy arty, div bomber, smoke and drive a AT infantry up to it
Once I get fixed up and back to work, I think I’ll be needing to join up ol Patreon.
That would be awesome thanks!
41:15 There are indeed offmaps which kill (almost) everything in blast zone, thats just not one of them.

Yeah there are like 4 in total. The rocket ones and the 600mm one. Most don’t though
This guy had one thing that atk pwr doesnt have. "Good luck"
Hahahaha facts

I did that yesterday and lost a clump of 12 arty💀
@@timtolerton9813 Yeah the guy I faced who did it lost a ton of arty to just a couple of 122s that I fielded alone in random light forests.
Arty spam is fine. Bunching it up is not
Gameplay reviev is on the highest rank on patreon right?
I’m don’t think so.
Second highest. Live direct coaching is the top level and that comes with this as well
@@atkpwrgamingI hope to get to this level soon! Now I'm only on the lowest tier

2) Upveting C card of rasiori since for time limit game it 32 in C is too much especialy for Mav.
3) he is playing ca dunkirk So lunchs are close to useless due to pzshreks on jagdkampfso it is better to run stug leader in A and normal stug in B or rotates
4) Better to run 45mm 2vet since you do nit loose a lot and you gain like 2/3 rof.
5) vickers aa is very bad No need to take it especialy when you have sdkfz 7/1
6) 81mm is not needed when you have 60mm So better to take arty leader in B instead. Also 122mm is better 1 vet as it gives it bonuses in only role it is good at being direct fire support

Great advice thank you!
