Yup. There's a reason everybody wears Nirvana shirts. It's so easy to write off a band as overblown when you see them everywhere, but in this case it's entirely deserved. They were actually that fucking good. Kurt Cobain was one of the most honest and raw musicians who ever lived. Nobody can touch the passion that he had or the way that it came through in how he played and sang. The word "haunting" just, but only just begins to describe it. It was true also in how he lived and how he died. Legend. I also think that though he came from punk rock he always saw himself as a blues singer. This is a blues song written a long time ago by a blues singer and it's like Lead Belly wrote it with the knowledge that it would be one day sang in this way. This is one genius honoring the legacy of another from many generations before. This was the last song in the last set they ever played for a reason. Cobain and Lead Belly are tied to each other through their freaking souls. The whole concert was like this. They could have just played their own hits, but instead they played mostly other people's songs and begged the crowd to listen, really listen, because this is where they came from. That's what kind of band Nirvana was. They honored their heroes, not themselves.
Would love to see more Nirvana on the channel! Its crazy that they all doubted their ability to pull this off because of Kurt being so sick from withdrawals, they had little practice and no rehearsal, no experience in acoustic settings, (they made Dave practice drums with twizzlers, because he kept banging on the drums too hard😂),and at the end of the day, this was one of the most iconic live performances to ever take place. This Unplugged performance is one you need to watch in full from start to finish after you finish doing whatever individual reactions you want to do. (Doing the entire performance in a live with us would be pretty awesome too)

I've "followed" him since the "Bleach" album, i 'm not a teenager, okay ?! He wrote ALL THE SONGS of Nirvana and he talked about guns, death, pain,. He chose to stop a fuckin life of rockstar on drugs he didn't like at all but he didn't know HOW stop THE PAIN, this terrible depression and bipolarity so he expla8ned to his fans in a letter and he said i love u to his wife and daughter. I hate Courtney but she SAVE HIS LIFE 2 TIMES and it would be easy to say "omg ! I didn't think he was in this state !" In Roma, 1 month before his death, he tried and if Courtney didn't wake up in the night, he would have been dead right there. The idiots who write "he wanted divorce and Courtney wanted money." Courtney prefered 100% being Mrs Cobain than the Cobain's widow. She's a slut and he fell in love for the worst chick, his 1st Tracy would have been great BUT Courtney didn't kill not only her superstar husband for money, okay but no fame for her for 30 years... She's just the unbearable, drug addict Frances Bean Cobain's mother. The end.
