- American peanuts from the farm to the factory is an expression of teamwork in action. Quality control is the key ingredient in the process from the peanut farmer to the peanut buying point, to the peanut sheller, to the peanut blancher, and to the peanut manufacturer. We make every effort to insure that our American peanuts are of the highest quality, safest, and most nutritious in the world when they reach the consumer.
Just eating hand full of roasted peanuts here in Liverpool, UK & thought to my self - I wonder what goes into getting these things from the farm to me, RUclips is so very amazing for such things. Very nice summary, exactly what I wanted to know, thank you.
lol just did the same haha from the UK too.
Same here. Was eating planters and wondered how the hell are these things produced?
Same here 😂😂
Same here! Alberta, Canada.
Same here, from Portugal
This is the type of tape that cool science teachers would play during recess on a rainy day 😂
Only watching this because my 4 year old asked me where did peanuts come from, while having them as a snack. Sooooo I didn’t know and I responded “come here I’ll show you, “ and showed her this video as if I already knew where they came from lol now we are both informed and appreciative of the peanut.
This is one of the rare videos that you can watch again and still pay it compliments
It was 6am and I was wondering what machine was used to shell mass quantities of peanuts
1:08 in the morning eating peanuts😂😂
@@coreyburton658 Me doing the same at 1.22 am rn 🤣🤣
Me three. lol.😄
Nice to see other people have the same curiousity as me at a random time
@@GeebyTeenyBooper Currently eating peanut butter at 5 am and watching this. Makes me feel less alone knowing there are others at random points in time doing the same thing.
Well doesn't that just make us appreciate peanuts more! Bravo.
Its always nice to watch videos of peanuts when ur munching on them
I legitimately cannot even fathom the fact that I'm actually taking an agriculture class in school and learning about how peanuts are made.
2020 truly is the strangest timeline.
It's amazing how we as humans learned to do all this and the amount of machinery farmers use
Fantastic video, showing a side of agriculture that many of us never get to see, or think about!
This video is awesome!
Would really like to see the other facets of the peanut processing, like the cooking/roasting [for whole table nuts], crushing for oil and how the P.B. is actually made.
Only watching this because i'm eating shelled peanuts at this very moment
Sigurd Mjelve sure you are, and I bet your grandpa had a peanut farm when you were a kid too.?
I'm eating nutter butters
Same here! Sitting on the porch and was curious
You live an interesting life
Haha..me too..eating roasted peanuts in the shell while watching this.
Cuz I'm watching a Crazy Food show with peanuts as the staple food..I say to myself " are peanuts like on a tree?! Where the hell do peanuts come from"?? Thank you-this video is perfect
Thanks HUGE for sharing this. I remember touring a peanut processing plant during a youth field trip, and it was fascinating to see how the peanut butter was made... and we each got a tasty sample!
I work in a peanut shelling plant. There's a few steps the video left out. Like how the bags are actually filled and how the stuff that can't be used for food goes to make oil stock.
Hi Cade, I am also starting a mini peanut shelling plant in Sri Lanka.
What you mean by food that can't be used for food?
Why am I sitting here watching this. This is nuts
May God continue to bless all the farmers without farmers the will be no food for anybody else 😘

Marvelous! man made mechines makes more easier to accelerate the harvest and more convenient both to prepare ready to sell their yields and also to quit manpower. It saves time as well quick for marketing. This helps to reduce the cost of product. This video was awesome!
This is a brilliant video and thanks for making it
That looks like the Georgia Ports Authority in Garden City Ga.
Very interesting video. Has a good explanation of how peanuts are grown, harvested and sold.
That's good
I certainly work at a peanut sheller in Texas and I can say this. I Love peanuts
This is fascinating and it's one of my Go to foods when I go camping.👍
Strangely satisfying to watch. :)
Greetings from the IL/WI area where it's mostly Corn and Soybeans. It's interesting to see how other crops are handled. I noticed there are no augers in the life of the peanut. I'm guessing that augers would damage the peanut/crack open the shells which is why you use elevators and shake conveyors. ... I'll keep eating them if you keep planting them. Stay Safe.
Thanks you!.
I love peanut butter 🥜 !.
I'm from Brazil great video
Pretty cool up north we don’t grow peanuts I’m in Alabama today very interesting crop
My last Lab loved peanuts. I use to give them to her in the shell, she would crack them open and remove the shell, but also the red wrapper, she didn't like that part. I on the other hand love the red wrapper.
Was this from an orientation at the peanut butter plant? Sounds like one.
*lol, love this video, watch it daily!!!!! :-)*
This is all so goddamn beautiful...

In 1m14 to 1m16 what the word does he say?
"depending on the individual grower's preference"
just type 01:14 - 01:16 to let youtube redirect users to that part of video
“Depending on the individual grower’s preference, weather conditions prior to planting, soil type, and other intangibles.”
I love to eat very much peanut cook along with beef . Yummy
