- Hello everyone,
In this episode we take billycan cooking to the next level with a beef and ale stew with dumplings, followed by some bobby bushcraft bacon and eggs. We then practice the ancient art of archery, throwing some arrows around like there's no tomorrow. I get spannered on the strong ales and kip in the shed, a great night.

Canny set up you've got there in the woods and once again I was slavvering while you were cooking that fabulous ale and steak with the dumplings!!
I hope you don't suffer with the cholestrol because that breakfast wouldn't be doing you any favours, never mind how divine it was hahaha but a little, or a lot, of what you fancy does you good.

I was thinking when you were eating your stew, that's never enough for one, haha. I also use the swan Vesta fire starting method, big fan of small matches that burn the thumbs. 😁 Nice video, good to see you drinking broon ale, classic.

Great little vid. I have a flat bow and used to belong to a club that had 3d targets set out in very old woodland. I used to like to shoot at the Alligator they had next to a pond!

Cheers mate, aye we’ve been lucky with the shed so far. There’s no public access to the woods but the odd intruder occasionally turns up now and again.
Really enjoying the billy can cooking, I cheat and used Aunt Bessie’s dumplings with a oxtail cup-a-soup for my camp stews, will try the dehydrated veg, though, keep up the videos as thoroughly enjoyable.

Good effort with the billy can. Is that one of the masons bushcraft knives on your belt? If so, does the guy who made them have a site or anything other than IG for contact? 👍
Cheers! Yes it's a Mason Bushcraft knife, I don't think he has a website and just does everything through IG. It's worth just getting in touch with him for a chat, he's a nice bloke and the knives are excellent 👍

I ‘m pretty sure you can’t shoot down planes with a bow in the UK !, here in the US you can , otherwise people complain you’re taking away their rights ! I shoot at a target with my longbow , I don’t think I could hit something while hunting , unless they make dairy cows legal .
I can't believe you haven't got the right to hunt a dairy cow in the land of the free! 😂 I figure I'll move on to a longbow at some point 👍
