- Incredible introduction to the new bands! All of them look so insane and I can't wait to see them more in the future! Animation looks really smooth as well, so I think we are in for a good time!

Poppin' Dream is a direct continuation of season 3, so you will probably get most out of it if you watch it then
the roselia movies and morfonication fall sort of outside the mainline anime because they're based on in-game stories (roselia movies are the anime version of a big arc for roselia, and morfonication is a direct prequel to an in-game event called Summer Sunny Basket)
the 1st and 2nd live movies are sort of the same in that they don't entirely depend on the anime, since they're basically concert movies
the 2nd movie has 3 separate encores, so keep that in mind (it's because you'd get a different encore depending on what theatre you watched the movie in)
21:18 Man, LOUDER is such a good song for Roselia. And not to mention the story behind it is really heartwarming. Basically, this song canonically isn't even from Roselia, but instead was Yukina's father's song. After certain events during semester 2, Roselia added this song to their lineup, and it remained as a legacy of her father's love of music.
Plus the song slaps.

I really like this first episode of season 2 since it does a really solid job at introducing most relevant bands (even if it can't give you an in depth look at the characters yet). From here on out the anime can focus on the story without having to deal with people not knowing the important characters.
Hello Happy World is the most insane band ever, everything they do is completely over the top... and they have the money for it.
If you like Roselia now, wait 'till you hear them perform "Black Shout". Roselia is musically probably my personal favourite band shown so far. Only one other band will be able to match them at some later point in the series. But that is my personal take. ^.-
Opening in S2 and S3 are fine to watch as they do not spoil anything as far as I remember. At least S2 you can watch now, both openings (one of the episodes has a different opening) will tell you when you get towards the end of S2 if it's fine to watch S3 opening cuz I don't remember for S3 lol.
Also: nice 3dcg, and it keeps getting better (best is in BanGDream it's MyGO!!!)
Today, 5/19 is Saya's birthday, so Happy Birthday, Saya. Also, in season 1 there was a girl that with white hair that resembles the character in Pastel Palettes. You will also see other characters that resemble characters from other bands if you rewatch season 1.

Hype for season 2! Been pretty busy lately and it looks like it'll stay that way for some time, so you probably won't see me much in the comments (I hate quickly spamming comments on each video)...

BanG Dream! and D4DJ (both Bushiroad franchises and made by same studio SANZIGEN) are in my opinion the best looking full CG animes. But that might be my Bushiroad bias speaking...
Extra-short background on the new bands (no need for PoPiPa obviously, and for Roselia you'll see it in the Roselia movies):
- Afterglow: childhood friends who formed a band to spend more time together after being split in different classes in high school
- Pastel*Palettes: professional band formed by an idol agency
- Hello, Happy World: Kokoro (singer) wants to make the entire world smile, and dragged the four other girls into forming a band with her (a bit like Kasumi dragging everyone into PoPiPa)
Openings and endings for S2 and 3 are fine to watch from the start. The "Film Live" movies are animated live shows, all music and no story. Poppin'Dream movie is a sequel to S3. I'll repost the watch order I commented the other day anyway, just in case.
If you're interested, I'd also recommend checking some actual live performances by the BanG Dream! bands. No need to make reaction videos, though Bushiroad is pretty chill with copyrights, as long as you pick videos posted on their official youtube channels you'll be fine.
For now the only real-life bands you've encountered are Poppin'Party and Roselia, but from this point on every new band introduced is also performing live.

Now that I reacted to this Season 2 opening is the Most banger one for Popipa.
First episode and we already see most of the bands.
Now, a list of characters that can keep up with Kasumi's genki energy the best (Remember how i did this on the first few episodes? We are so back!)
From Roselia:
-Yukina is Kasumi's "Big sister" and Lisa is the Local Gyaru
From Pastel*Palettes:
-Sayo is pretty hyper herself (The one with green hair and student council president at Aa-chan's school)
From Popipa:
-As we know, Saaya is the best at managing Kasumi, Arisa is the "girlfriend" so she does her best and OTae vibes in the same wavelenght.
From Hello Happy World:
-Both Kokoro (Blonde) and Hagumi (Orange hair) vibe in the same wavelenght as Kasumi and OTae.
I swear, NEVER let Hagumi, Kokoro, Kasumi and OTae in the same room XD
S2 and S3 Opening doesn't contain any spoiler so it's okay of u want to watch it since they are already show it all the characters in episode 1

Iirc, season 2 is on the lighter side of things, so I wouldn't mind too much of the plot and just focus on enjoying the performances.
And yes, season 2 assumes that you've played the game, so they also expect you to at least know about the other band members. Roselia is my most favourite band, and their songs were what made me get into the franchise.

Here are the orders, after season 2 we have movie called BanG Dream! FILM LIVE then season 3, after season 3 we have a couple of movies like Episode of Roselia 1 and 2, FILM LIVE 2nd STAGE, and Poppin' Dream. We will also be having a 2 OVA's called CiRCLE THANKS PARTY! and a Morfonica-centered story called Morfonication then lastly BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!
Kasumi's sister A-chan's transferisng to a different school is kinda like a reference to her seiyuu Ozaki Yuka she used to be in the same agency with Kasumi's seiyuu Aimi in Hibiki but later on transferred to a new Agency called Ken-ON.

BanG Dream! has 10 bands so far 12 if you count Glitter Green and Chispa but out of those 10-12 bands 7 of them have real-life bands they are Poppin'Party, Roselia, RAISE A SUILEN, Morfonica, MyGO!!!!!, Ave Mujica and Mugendai Myu-Type.
Poppin'Party was formed in 2015, Roselia was formed in 2016, and RAISE A SUILEN was formed in 2017 they were formerly called THE THIRD and they were initially formed as the backing band for the game only and anime bands like Pastel*Palettes, Afterglow, and Hello, Happy World since the seiyuu for those game only and anime bands don't play the instruments of the characters that they are voicing. Morfonica was formed around 2019 but was introduced in early 2020, MyGO!!!!! was formed in 2021 but was introduced in April of 2022 but the identities behind the band weren't revealed till their 4th Live on April 9, 2023, Ave Mujica was formed in 2022 but introduced in early 2023 and just like MyGO!!!!! their identities weren't revealed until the airing of the anime BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!! in mid 2023 and lastly the newest band in the BanG Dream! franchise Mugendai Myu-Type it's a band that was born out of a Public Audition at first it was marketed as a VTuber Group and it's okay if the applicants don't play musical instruments as long as they can sing but the applicants that they hired eventually are those who could play musical instruments. Mugendai Myu-Type was introduced in November 2023 and since they are not yet included in the game and anime and haven't done their 1st live yet most of the stuff that they are doing right now is VTube Stuff and as of now the identities behind the seiyuu/musicians behind the band hasn't been revealed yet but for sure just like MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica their identities will be revealed soon and Mugendai Myu-Type will be having their 1st live this August 24, 2024.

Film Live movie containing live performance from all the main band in bigger stage really recommended to check it out probably after finishing 2nd season first, for Poppin Dream Movie u might want to watch it last before going to Bang dream its Mygo since that movie act as barrier for new season babg dream its mygo
Chispa Member are all has the same year with Poppin party which is second year of highschool but yeah they are kinda not relevant for this season since we already has like 5 band to focus now, also just a reminder to be careful since this season is full of live performance and song so it's might be vulnerable for copyright strike.
