I also was a couple weeks early on iwm... and sat through a probe that failed juuust above my stop loss. It's been a great trade. I wish I still had 60% in though. Only 25% running here

I never understood that "market breadth is low therefore it's bearish" argument. Logically, the biggest bulls always end with dash to trash so the more concentrated profits are, the bigger the following rotation should be. Even in cap-weighted indices, it's just simple math exercise. Especially with big tech, when everyone in the money management industry has to own it (therefore they will buy pullbacks) to have any chance to outperform benchmark. Imo it's just another "boomer" rule of thumb that doesn't work in the age of 0DTE and fear to fomo switches happening on a daily basis.
Is this why you don't fight the bulls, because you know exactly what the bears are doing? :D

Great analysis Dan. One question I had, you speak about entering on breaks a lot. What are some ways you would say you successfully avoid entering fake breakouts or fake breakdowns? Or is that not a common thing you come across? Thanks
By selling partial into the initial move to lower my cost basis so if it is a fake out, it is much more forgiving.
