I stumbled upon your video in the middle of the night. I am 72 years old, and suffer from a rare pain disorder caused by a stroke. Even when my body is raging, you speak in the same tone that my spirit speaks. As soon as I heard your voice, I recognized it as my own language. You will probably never read this, as you have so many followers, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing yourself with the world 🙏❣️
Sending you gentle hugs. I know it's hard to be in pain every day, but I hope you take some solice in knowing you're not alone. All us chronic pain people have to stick together. You're my mom's age, I know she's just now starting to deal with pain I've been going through it since age 23 I'm 36 now. So please, be kind to yourself, rest when you must, and remember you're never alone. 💜
Hi Lola! I love your name, it's so pretty 😍. I have a pain disorder too from fibromyalgia and arthritis. It's caused from past physical and mental trauma. My goal is to live in a similar manner as this beautiful couple. I hope you sleep well tonight.
🍁Dear Jonna🍁 I am a 12 year old girl living in Switzerland. I've been following you since I was 10 years old. I never wrote a comment before, but now it's time to say thank you to you. Your videos help me a lot! They are full of passion and packed with so many precious moments. I am very grateful that we are allowed to look into parts of your life. You make really beautiful recordings and sometimes they are so funny that it makes me laugh. I have great respect for how well and lovingly you deal with nature and draw so much benefit from it. When I feel useless or when I think life has no meaning, sometimes I watch your videos and then I immediately feel better. You radiate so much joy in life, optimism and Happiness and then I remember that you also lived a life that didn't suit you. You started over and now you live the way it feels right for you. That gives me courage. When I grow up, I hope to find the path and courage for a life that suits me. Unfortunately, many people don't find this path or don't dare to enter it, but I think you are pushing us a little bit in the right direction. So maybe more people will dare to live a life they enjoy and the world will be a little bit better. Thank you so much!♥ And enjoy the end of summer☺
Love you so much for your wise and heartwearming words, young girl, old soul, wish you a happy life full of wonderfull moments! Lots of love to you and everyone who shares the same thoughts💗💫🤗
Greeting from Switzerland to Switzerland ❤️🤭 What a feedback from a young girl 😱 Youre amaizing, focus on the things you want. Dont let anything or anybody push you out of your path
The world is a wonderful place with you growing your wisdom, kindness and compassion young lady. Enjoy your youth. Take nothing for granted. Create yourself an incredible life full of beauty, joy and love. Blessings on your path dear Luchs. Your comment has given me such a big smile and warms my heart. I feel what you e expressed too... and it's the sweetest to hear someone young like yourself recognize and admire someone doing things so courageously from their heart. The thought or desire comes first, like a seed, and the actions naturally follow. Best to you! 🤍
I wanted to leave a comment about Jonna and Johan's relationship. Of course, I loved the video, seriously it always gives me an otherworldly feel when I watch any of Jonna's videos, but the thing that stood out to me the most in this video is how sweet your husband is and how healthy your relationship is. if a man dresses up in a tailcoat to pose in a field overrun by mosquitoes just because you had an idea for a photo, you know you made the right choice. seriously that was so sweet of him, I'm so glad you two have each other, Jonna deserves the world. The other thing that said a lot to me was how you took some time away by yourself, alone. Oftentimes, couples try to do everything together and they forget that space and some time apart is just as important as time together. Only when you're content by yourself will you be in a truly healthy relationship, and I think it's beautiful that Jonna is in such a good place in life. Hope you two share a great life together, I'm sure you'll help each other grow and fulfill your purpose.
Dear Jonna, We are a couple of travel content creators from India trying to make videos that are meant to slow down time and appreciate the "smaller" things in life. You have been a big source of inspiration for us for the longest time. Creators like you, Isabel paige etc are helping slow things down in this ridiculously and unnecessarily fast paced world. Thank you for spreading joy, happiness and positivity through your videos. The world needs it.🙂🙂. Much Love from India.❤❤
You, Jonna, make a difference in this world. You are a gift to us all. If everybody was like you or even 50% like you, this would’ve been the heaven! Thank you for all that you’ve done for us, showed us, you are, for me, The Mother Nature. You always radiate such a bright light, a fairy between us! Everyday I’m wearing the quartz crystal necklace from you, such a beauty, always grounding me. Thank you again for all the art that you share with us and I’m wishing you, Johan and Nanook a peaceful ending to this summer and sending you lots of hugs! 🥰
Thank you so much for your loving words ❤ And Im so glad you like your crystal necklace and that you feel that its grounding you. How beautiful!! Sending you big hugs and lots of love! ❤
@@jonnajinton yes, Joanna, I am from New Jersey, USA and I have always had a love for nature (as I think most humans do) and watching your videos are a wonderful blend of relaxing reconnection to the natural world (from which we were all born!) and also the sweet glimpse into your sweet home life full of appreciation and respect. Your man is tired but still dresses up to make you happy, and that is the essence of love. Doing something not for yourself, but for those that you adore BECAUSE you know it will make them happy. There is no sign more caring or loving than that 😭♥️ and I think the love you share together shines through the content you create. It is as beautiful as your surroundings! ♥️♥️♥️much love! 👍🇺🇸♥️🇸🇪
At first, I was waiting for the vampire stories but quickly realized she was talking about mosquitos. 😂 As a Louisianan growing up near swamps and rivers, I feel your pain. They are such little menaces.
Same here, y'all. Do you also get sad when the drone of cicadas dies off in the fall? I love that sound and I miss it when it's gone. I do not, however, miss the mosquitoes!
Spray yourself in a scent such as lavender, citronella, or eucalyptus. Those smells give of a 'chemical' that mosquitoes hate, and they'll mask the CO2 you're body gives off, which is what they try to find.
We’ve been in a 2 month heatwave in Texas - and then the rain came! And I thought about your advice “to do something that makes you smile”. So I went outside today and danced in the rain! I felt like a kid again and loved every drop! Thank you for your blessed intuition and presence! You are a treasure! ❤
I am soo happy you finally had rain in Texas! Blessings from Canada, I was watching your drought trouble on the internet. I adopted a dog from a Texas shelter. His first reaction to snow was hilarious. Now he LOVES IT.
I’m from Texas, too. The rain is glorious after so many months with no rain and temperatures over 100F. I did the rain dance too😆😍 even my dogs ran in the rain.
@@AMonikaD I love that you rescued a fur baby! A Texas fur baby no less! God bless you for that and thank you for the good vibes - we needed it and so grateful for this rain at last! 🥰
Oh Jonna, how do I express my feelings in words that would do justice to how you truly make me feel and how much your work touches the depths of my soul! You are the only person who has the capacity to weave such a wondrous connection with the forests, flowers, rivers, streams, trees, insects, life and nature around you. Every time I watch your video, it's like therapy and joy for me. It makes me feel so calm and nourished. Grounded and yet flying amidst a magical place cultivated by you. The fruits of your labour (hard work) that we get to enjoy, your videos are like a series of nature documentaries (similar to ones airing on Netflix), its a ride through the mountains, forests and skies of Sweden. Oh Jonna, I am so privileged to be watching this depth of storytelling. You're doing a great service to the humanity by weaving this connection with the nature, documenting it and allowing us to feel that same magic all from within the comfort and boundaries of our homes. I am so grateful that you exist and for your marvelous work. You make me weep and cry out of the heavenly connection that you create between me and Mother Earth through your videos. I am forever thankful to you and I owe you everything! I have been following you for more than a year and a half now, and its the same feeling ever time I watch a new video of yours! You're a blessed soul, a white fairy living in the dreamland, wonderland, mysterious yet oddly beautiful wilderness! You're my biggest inspiration. Sending love and respect from India! Namastey!
Awww this made my heart melt ❤😭🙏 I don't really know how to express my gratitude enough to you for writing this beautiful comment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤ I could really feel your love in your words and it means sooo much to me. I wish I could give you a real hug!! ❤ Sending you lots of love from Sweden!
What I think is truly magical is that you and Johan found each other in this big world. That you two came together and are such an extension of each other and are so compatible, is the true miracle. The respect and honor you have for one another is evident in all your interactions. May you both always be so in love and so kind to each other.
Hej Jonna, I´m Lotta and 20 years old. At the moment i´m going through really taff times and now i found your videos and can´t stopp watching them. I love sweden sice i was a young child and i went there many, many times that it almost feels like home for me. More than any place else.(sorry / ursäktar that my english is not the best... i hope you can understand me anyway. ) Your videos and photography gave me a lot!!! so thank you for that! i´m so greatful for the pure nature, the little moments, the lights and the nostalgic you caught with your camera... this is art for me and feels sooooo good to watch. Everything about it is so calming and pure and grounded and beautiful... i have never seen something like this on youtube before! so thank you for sharing your beautiful work and your mystic moments of life! You seem like a really good soul! thank you for every little Advice and reminder. greetings from germany (in my dreams i´m always surrounded by the swedish nature... :) ) hope you have a nice evening, Lotta
Jonna and Johan, Ii sometimes wonder if you realize the full impact your channel is having on people. For example, today when you said goodnight in your van and the waterfall came up next, I began to cry from joy. For me, it's more than just entertainment, I've changed my day to day lifestyle to include more nature and gratitude. Thank YOU from the bottom of our hearts
For me it is similar, but also it is a deep, weird sadness of longing to be in nature like this too and knowing I probably never will. These videos are so painfully beautiful, no other way to describe it.
@@jonnajinton We also live in nature, rescuing birds and animals. You have beautiful songs, nature calls. They are very heart touching. Can i use your vocal for video? (Will include links for your channel)
The video, the nature and the property are magnificent. Many of you wish for such a life but I can say one thing, someone who has never been to Scandinavia or Russia (Taiga, Siberia) has no idea of this enormous plague, mosquitoes!!! Without chemistry they drive you insane.
@@dutcher777 very true. I live in Seattle Washington which is very similar in appearance but I would truly go insane with her mosquitoes. That's why I use peppermint oil before I go outside. Although, over there they seem immune.
A life you could actually live yourself, a nice comfy cabin in Norway or Sweden is not expensive, and you can find multiple ways to sustain yourself with work that isn't too hard, or even better if your husband can provide for the family. All it takes is actually wanting it, and you can live like humans are supposed to live
Can't believe there are humans like You and Johan, your compassion towards each other and and gentle spirit is inspiring, thank you for the soothing videos and keeping our hopes alive about the gentleness of the universe and human spirit.
Why do you believe it? This is a curtail'd version of these people's lives? You don't know what personal problems they have. It's called influencer Envy. You become envious of these people with their seemingly perfect lives. You should really learn to check that behavior or else you're going didn't become extremely depressed. People have killed themselves because of this. Furthermore I'm not sure if you want of those crazy climate change people but how economically friendly could it be for two people to travel around to these locations just to show you pretty videos? They are increasing their carbon footprint for monetary gain. Is that not environmental exploitation? And now you just gave them more money to go the drive or fly somewhere else producing more greenhouse gases. I guess it doesn't matter because they're likely not capitalists although they are capitalizing the accumulation of wealth so they're kind of hypocrites if you think about it. Your Heroes are dead, move on and try to grow a little bit of a human being. You have a 1 out of 174 chance of being murdered. That's just the average, the odds go up dramatically if you live in an area with a large number of 1 specific type of people. Live a little. Don't waste your life being envious of people who don't have perfect lives.
@@youtube_chaplain what the f*** are you talking about? That has nothing to do with anything that's being spoken about here. That is so off topic. I'm claiming that they're actually regular human beings who are capable of failure and negative emotions and you're over here talking about some nonsensical religious crap. I've already passed righteous judgment on these people so your God is not necessary. Sorry I beat you to the punch except I used logic and a basic understanding of human behavior as opposed to Jesus being the answer to everything. Don't get me wrong I'm a God-fearing man but whereas you use the Bible to Shield you from all other forms of information, I specifically go out and seek out that information ravenously. I think the world is a lot more interesting when you actually understand how things work then just blindly thinking God is responsible for everything, which he is. But the world is more interesting and beautiful when you actually understand the workings of the heavenly father. I may not actually be a good Christian though because I wish with all of my heart to commit the original sin and eat from the tree knowledge. I want to understand and know everything.
Dear Jonna, I've just realized that you, guys, literally pay with your blood and that is why every second of your videos is so magical and special for us. Deep bow & thank you to you and Joan for all the sacriface and crystal clear love spreading to the world! Love, Vicky from Bulgaria ♡
Awww "pay with your blood" haha what a cute/beautiful way of looking at it. THANK YOU! I will think of your comment next time im feeding the vampires 😘 Thank you for your beautiful and uplifting words. Sending you big hugs and lots of love from Sweden!

@@InBeats-o4q I am grateful that she makes this sacrifize for her audience like recording videos even in such hard environment like mosquitos, freezing degrees etc. So only wrong thing is the twisted logic and misunderstanding in your head.
For some of us living on the other side of the planet, we are experiencing our dream life through her lenses. When I need escape from the studies, I come to this channel and I always find peace and makes my breathing a little easier. Thank you Jonna ❤️
I grew up on a 60 acre farm in the mountains and now live in an apartment in the city without even a balcony. I’m in driving distance of the water, but everyone flocks there in the summer and there is a big Covid outbreak here. I agree. It’s healing to watch these videos.
@@jonnajinton Where in Sweden is the crystal quarz mine located? I loved that area and would love to visit it during my next Sweden trip. Thank you so much for everything you are doing🙏🥰
So many people want to connect back with nature, especially now in these dark times. Bless you and your love ones may each year grant you a more bountiful harvest!
And there are people like me who have been relaxing outside for the past 8 years. Sitting next to plants. We are all connected. Australian outback is nice.
I just adopted a kitten from the street and he's a handful of energy! I started watching this video and he came into my lap and watched the whole thing with me, super peaceful and focused on everything! I'm used to old cats, they're so much calmer, but I lost my oldest cat Chubbs a couple of weeks ago and dealing with it hasn't been easy. My new kitten Midsummer is definately helping with it, and watching your amazing videos help so much too.
I AM truly sorry for you loss Of your BELOVED CHUBBS May your heart be healed And your soul mended/renewed As this new relationship grows LOVE 2U Catarina From Hong Kong ✨🤍💋🤍✨
For me, the end-of-summer feeling is usually associated with heavy nostalgia and anxiety, after being in school for 12+ years of my childhood. Lol. It wasn't until well into adulthood that i could let go of the sadness, to appreciate and embrace the feeling of Autumn arriving. It used to be a depressing time for me, but it's become more of a healing experience and I've crafted a happier nostalgia of a different kind. ❤love from New England.
Beetle bob, I love this thought. I live in Oregon, where the end of summer feels like death to me and the entrance into our 9 months of overcast and rain 😆. But I never realized it might also be partly from the school years end of summer feelings… I love your perspective and I’m really going to try to get excited for and enjoy the fall season ☺️
I also get a certain melancholy at the end of August, and I recently realized it's a holdover from my youth--I didn't like going back to school after having a summer of early sunrises and riding my bike through the woods, and playing on the beach with my brothers and sisters when the sun set well past 9 pm. I still struggle with it but am trying to get over it because I am wasting some of this glory on melancholy. Thanks for your comment!
I was the same way! The shortening of the days meant school was creeping closer and once the fireworks ended on Labor Day night there was a pang of sadness because the next day was the first day of school. Only in the last 10 years or so have I come to love the Fall. Greets from a fellow New Englander 👍🏻
I’m an Indian n I religiously watch your videos. They are like a warm hug to me on a cold winter day. Thank you so much for filling up my life with so much love.
My wife & I homesteaded in Canadian wilderness nearly 40 years. Still have Homestead tho' no longer there full time. Heartwarming to see next generation discovering simple, sustainable healing life in nature. And your wonderful cinematography evokes comments from around the world that speak to our common, shared human experience (thinking of the documentary "Human") with its many sorrows & few joys, the latter most often found in the peaceful solitude of nature - early morning coffee shared with a beautiful morning sunrise & loons or at day's end sitting quietly on the shore of a river or lake taking in spectacular sunsets
How incredible your own lives must have been, spent in the wilderness. Which area of which province or territory were you (but please don't say exactly)? I grew up, part time, in les Laurentides, Laurentian Hills, north of Montreal. I've so many wonderful memories of those days and places. Two homes were built by the hands of my father. I never achieved so much as he was able but am thankful always.
After a week of probably constant hair pulling, this is totally what I need right now. These videos make me feel like I am entering a portal to a secret and magical land, give me a few seconds aways from the headache of the daily life.
Im so glad that the video came in a good timing and that it can help you relax a bit. I really hope you feel better soon and whatever challenges you are going through right now will ease up. Sending you tons of love ❤
Yes Oh I agree so much with you , I myself also had a stressfull week and I was overloaded but since this beautyful vlog from the sweetest person , Jonna Jinton, 😇😘👌I am feeling so much more relaxed now - it was exactly what I needed to charge myself again! Thank U beautyful Jonna!😇😇💞💞💞♥️
That husband of yours is a real keeper.....so supportive. In my 48 years I never never come across a man that would be willing to suport me in such away. Its been a shirt while since I have watched your videos and today I am so glad that I did
Even when I’m feeling the lowest of lows and don’t know how I can keep going your videos remind me that there is still so much beauty in this world left to see and I don’t want to miss it. Your videos help me change perspective in the most crucial moments. Thank you so much!
You work so hard. I did quite a bit of manual labor with my dad when the parents were still alive. Chopping and hauling and stacking firewood for example. Now I live in a group home where staff do all the cooking and cleaning. I read books and sing and play guitar. I couldn’t imagine life without something to work on. I enjoy your videos and your channel. Today your happiness cheered me up for awhile in a video where you were marveling over the beauty of nature and winter. Your videos keep me company and help pass the time here being unemployed and mentally ill. I’m saying hi from Canada. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Autumn has always been my favorite season. The colors, the food, the weather. I know it sounds odd, but as everything else is dying off or going into hibernation, I feel like I'm being born again, or awakening.
How she describes the end of summer is SUCH a healthy way to see it.. in Europe I noticed plenty of times my friends would spend the whole year waiting for summer and then be depressed when it’s over. But if you face it as a long-enjoyable party, autumn is the self care after spending that much energy (i adapted her thinking to my reality lol) I always loved autumn and now I’ll love it even more ❤️
I can't even imagine anyone in this world who doesn't love Jonna Jinton! You are adorable, talented, sweet, and such a hard worker. I love every video you put out and am so excited when I see a new one posted. Always the best of every You Tube channel I watch!
I don't know how many times I've been in Sweden but I'll go again in 2 weeks time. I'm so excited. That country just sings, the language is soooo melodic, the nature... Kilometers of woods and then suddenly a small village and then again kilometers of woods and no civilisation. Those red houses. The pop music. The yoghurt drinks and cinnamon buns and chocolate balls. The lakes. The mushrooms and berries. It's just so beautiful Those little mosquitos cannot stop me from loving the country
I loved the clouds in the ending, its as if she has truly connected with herself and liberated her soul, which shines across to her viewers and gives comfort and inspires us too plus she and Joan are an amazing couple wish them the best
I am from the Netherlands and I am currently on vacation in Sweden. We are doing a road trip. We enjoy it so much. I always loved your videos and the beauty of it. But seeing it with my own eyes is such a wonderful experience. Sweden is so beautiful! I love that I watch your video currently while I am in Sweden myself.

Jonna, I absolutely love seeing your beautiful Sweden through your eyes. It is so beautiful, and you have the ability to show this beauty at just the right moments to enhance it even more. Johan is a charming man dressed up in his tuxedo and even more of an awesome husband to take pictures with you in a mosquito infested field. The pictures turned out beautiful. You and Johan had a very busy summer, and your place and gardens look amazing. I always look forward to seeing your videos, they are authentic and from your eyes and heart and this makes them even more pleasurable to watch. Love you and Johan and please always be yourself, your beauty is from the inside out and so charming and original and that makes me excited to see you over and over again. God Bless you, Johan, and Nanok and keep you safe and healthy. Thank you for sharing all of the beauty of Sweden through your eyes and heart.
Such a beautiful country Sweden has the finger print of God everywhere. Thank you for the beautiful videos. You touch hearts and souls around the world.

I have been a fan of Jonna for a few years now and even though I live in Sweden she always captures all the most beautiful parts, a lot of which I would miss if not for her. I have tried to share her content with my family, and I though they never paid attention but for my birthday in July I received the Rose Quartz Spirit necklace. I cried a lot that night. And I wear it everyday.💕
Joona, this video had me in tears. Your connection to nature jumps through the computer screen and straight into my heart! I too thrive in nature and my connection mirrors yours. I have a small cabin in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and when I watch your content it makes me feel like I am there! Thank you so much for sharing your life. I can't wait to see you go back to the quartz mine! Lots of Love back to you!
You are like a story book come to life. Watching your videos gives me a sense of nostalgia, not for a life I have not lived. But for the rawest moments of my own human experience. This really makes me feel wonder and gratitude for this human experience. Thankyou!
This is how I imagine heaven looks like Me, my boyfriend and my baby who has transcended to another life, together in a cozy cabin surrounded by this amazing nature. Thank you for such a beautiful video.
We can create heaven while here on Earth 🙏💖 you don’t have to wait. In fact, I think it’s better not to! I really feel we are meant to be embodiments of heaven, as Jesus said, the Kingdom of Heaven is within us! So why do people still believe that it’s “out there” something only to be experienced after death? Jesus instructs us to find this kingdom, before doing anything else. He doesn’t say wait till you die and go there lol. He says find it here, in the now.
I was thinking the same thing. My husband passed away almost 5 months ago, and I just felt like crying during the entire video while thinking "this is what heaven must look and feel like"
I visited New Zealand and started singing for the cows when stopping on a road trip to view the farmland. They started running over to me just like this and it was so cute. They mood back too.
The ending of summer is my favorite time of the year. I can't describe the feelings I feel on particular days nearing the end, transitioning of summer into autumn. When I go on walks I feel this energy that vibrates through me and the warm sun kissew my cheeks with a light breeze blowing. The weather is perfect I say
Thank you for the sacrifice you and Johan made to take the beautiful photos. Your work, your lives together and your beautiful souls inspire, encourage and bless so many. What a loving husband to brave the thick air of mosquitos with you. I could hear the sound of them buzzing in my ear and it felt like there were mosquitos flying around in my headphones. Thank you, Johan, for the support you show Jonna. Your love and friendship is an excellent example of what a marriage should be. Happy Anniversary
I love when you share the clips from winter to summer so that we can see all the contrast and hard work you've done! You are a beautiful soul 💚 thank you so much for sharing!!
Dear one, Jonna, I am so delighted and grateful you share your life and beautiful country with us. You bring grace and love and light to all who see you. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart.
Her whole channel puts me on a whole nother level of peace. As a girl born and raised in sweden with swedish roots in my blood this is so beautiful how you are showing swedens true natural beauty. I love you so much and stay safe.
I have never felt so relaxed after a video. You guys in sweden or even whole scandinavia are living so peacefull. And sure i get that not everyone is living the life like she is but still.
It makes me anxious af. I have the 'vampire disease' (Porphyria) so I cannot be in the sun nearly at all. Thankfully, my skin is pretty dark so the melanin blocks some of the UV rays naturally, i also have to use a thick sunscreen and i obsessively cover up or i get red swollen skin after a short amount of time. I do tan because i am dark, but it's actually painful and aside from feeling like burning it causes me to get sick to my stomach, light headed, and feel like I'm hung over if im out too long. I hate that she lied in the title... I literally thought i found someone else like me. I hate this disease, but when people like her mock it.... yeah, she's a really bad person.
Hello, I am from Vietnam, I have just followed your channel for a few days, but I watched almost all of your videos. Sometimes, I feel bored with my life in which I have to get up early to go to work and do the household chores at the weekend, and everything seems to repeat boringly, I cannot remember how many times I wonder if this is the life I want to live or not. And your videos are like an inspiration for me to try harder to reach my goal and have the encouragement to chase the way of life I want. I am very grateful for the positive messages you bring. I hope to see more of your videos.
Thank you for sharing about what you are going through. You can do it, live the life that you want. I used to live like how you described, repetitive boring routine, living was like a chore. I found my way through some help and I want to share with you, that anything is possible. You can do it~
I really love your message. That's exactly how my life feels like right now. I hope we can all work on that and enjoy our lives to the fullest. Good luck everyone!
No life is boring, there is always a possibility to find or create mystic and enchantment even in the most mundane acts. I bet a lot of depressed people somewhere might even envy your busy life. Embrace it, enjoy your life and good things happen. Wish you the best.
If this is not the life you want to live, you have the power to change it. Take care of your health and yourself (mental health included, but especially your physical health) and as long as you are healthy, the whole world of possibilities is still open to you whenever you are ready to make a change. There is always sacrifice that comes with that, and it is scary, and a risk of failure, but that’s part of the adventure of living! And remember: you aren’t alone. You aren’t alone with these feelings. And there are people who care about you, even if you haven’t met them yet or even if they are on the other side of the world via the internet. Hang in there. And thank you for sharing your feelings. I think they will resonate with more people than will ever check “thumbs up” or you will ever really know. They certainly did with me. You have the power to change your life whenever you are ready. Or not. It’s in your hands. And there’s no shame in either decision, or in “failure,” it’s just experience which is living your life. I’m rooting for you and your happiness.
You and your husband are SO adorable doing that beautiful photo-shoot!!🥰 🌺 Everything about your videos is utter perfection. What a gift they are to all of us!!
I never would've thought that northern sweeden has this many mosquitoes!! I have seen stuff like this here in Italy in the summer, one time here in Tuscany near the sea, and then only in Southern Italy. Here summers can arrive at 40 degrees Celsius.. I thought these little vampires would prefer the warm climate! Thank you Jonna you really give your soul to these videos, the jewelery, your art, everything that you do! You create beauty, you remind people what is like to live with nature, this is truly healing and inspiring. ❤️I've said it again, and I will say it again 🙏🙏🙏
Most people think mosquitoes prefer really warm weather, but it's not true. Here in Texas when we get into our normal, hot summers--there are very few. Only some during early morning, and dusk in the evening--when it's cooler. Not during the heat of the day. They don't do well in hot weather. So not only is it cooler in Sweden--but Jonna also is surrounded by a lot of water--perfect breeding grounds! We are always told to make sure there is NO standing water on your property, that they can breed in. Even an upturned soda bottle cap--holds enough water for them to breed in. I too am amazed to see the huge clouds of mosquitoes that they have there! I have NEVER seen it that bad anywhere! With the diseases they carry, I would hate to be outside--I couldn't take it!
@@dragonfly9209 yes here too they come in the evenings or early mornings, and we are careful to not leave water under the plants in our gardens because of them.. These past years they were a lot more and more aggressive!
The further north you are in the bush, before the tundra begins, is where you'll find the most mosquitos and black fly. Check out some tourist videos going through Labrador, Canada. Puppies have to survive underground to survive the mosquitos. 😑
From within the walls of my apartment in the middle of a concrete jungle, it gives me immeasurable joy to see you happy and thriving surrounded by such natural beauty. ❤
I adore everything about this channel, I’ve been watching it for like 5 years now. And it’s so inspiring and wonderful to see Jonna growing and upgrading as a person and as a video maker. I do however miss the old videos, when she was just sitting in front of the camera and talking about everything happening to her at the moment, and now it has changed into only her voice over footages of the nature. It’s very beautiful and it’s really good quality footage, but i miss seeing her sit and talk like a friend :( And I really miss the times when she used to show her daily life, her home, chores, making food and coffee and everything. It really felt like home, so cozy, so heartwarming, so precious. I remember watching these videos crying when i was homesick and it saved me while getting through the university 🥺❤️ It makes me want to cry so badly, but I understand that people can’t stay the same forever, that everyone has to change and have new interests
The "night clouds" you saw are actually called "noctilucent clouds". They are most likely shards of ice on really high altitude that shine when the sunlight hits them from beneath the horizon. They're often spotted around midsummer in Baltic countries and northern Poland. Once I was lucky enough to see them in southern Poland, but that's incredibly rare. The more north you go, the later in the summer (and earlier in spring) you're going to see them as you need the sun below the horizon but not too low.
@@aabac8398 wtf? Did u confuse channels? Or are literally complaining that there are few persons of colour in northern Sweden...? Jonna creates a vlog about her personal life. Do you expect her to marry a black guy just to appease some woke Americans?
@@Stormchantress Yea,I'm white and from the south and I can tell you why there are few black people there.Same reason I'm not there. Most of the black folks I know are as cold-hating as I am. We're not there because it's frigging cold.
@@gregorywellssr7857 I'm well aware! :) Same with Arabs - lots of them in Southern Sweden and Finland, but fewer and fewer the farther north you go. Also - those areas are not as well developed as the south, so there are fewer jobs opportunities, fewer people in general, so obviously even fewer minorities (not counting the indigenous Sami, of course!)
@McArthur 💛 75 Yes, I realise that it's just a very audible group of people that give the whole nation a bad rap. The whole comment was plain ridiculous (not to mention it had nothing to do with what I had posted) and I think OP just wanted to draw attention to themselves by saying something everyone's saying these days.
Also.. To keep bugs away... Put strong menthol on a scarf and ties to ankles, wrists and around your heard and neck. Taking the scarves off, you remove the scent easily when you are not in the deep woods. My mother used arthritis menthol rub directly on her knees..etc.. but most kinds of strong menthol will keep everything away.. It keeps people away too... Won't help with online people though.lol

It’s just breath taking scenery.., I’m a Japanese and living in Japan so Sweden is quite far away from here but your video makes me feel want to visit so bad😭✨
When one enters the autumn of their life, each season becomes bitter sweet, for you cannot know if this may be your last spring blooming, your last walk in the summer's sun, your last hike amongst the brilliant colors and woodland spice of fall, or the last time you'll feel the crisp cold of the bright winter snow. Bask in each season,in each day, and in the presence of those you love and who love you.
Everytime you made me more and more proud to be Scandinavian! Your dedication to nature makes my heart burst ! Keep on documenting your experience of life in North and making us happy! Thank you!
I have never commented on any video but this just simply touched my heart. It feels like a whole different life - a life full of nature, energy, love & light. Thank you for this beautiful video. Sending lots of love your way!!
JONNA- thank you for bringing the reality of mosquitos to the screen. All too often we watch beautiful videos like yours- then at home can not experience such positive ambience because of the nasty bugs. Here in Canada where I also live out in nature, the bugs never let you experience the Beauty of an evening until late summer and fall. They are just swarms of them. Everything that can, goes indoors. Often we miss this reality, while watching beautiful videos. Its sucks.
The RUclips gods randomly suggested your videos and I’m glad they did. They are beautiful. The “Nordic vampires” sound very like our own pest here in Scotland, the humble midge. Many a summer have our little beasties invaded our gatherings or walks and always seem to catch visitors unaware of them. So many similarities between our nations be it the breathtaking landscape, the long summer nights (although you have us beat here) and the seemingly never ending winter(again you guys win) It’s content like this that still gives me hope on this platform
How beautiful it’s been to watch you grow together since you’ve married. You’ve not only continued to find beauty in each other’s uniqueness & quirks…but have woven them into your own tapestry as well.
I love how you show the before and after. It’s so satisfying to see your hard work pay off and what a beautiful environment you have. Great job, truly inspirational!

Dear Jonna. I am crying trough this video nonstop. The way how you show the progress and work and appreciation is something deeply recognizable for all of us who live in a countryside and have similar values. I take it as my story as well and feel very thankful and grateful you show it trough your eyes. It gives so much strength! Thank you!
Hei Jonna, beautifully made video as always! As a Finnish-born scandinavian living in the USA I can appreciate all the work you have put into these videos to share the essence of life in Scandinavia and so well done in English for worldwide audiences! :D At about 22:40 you mentioned finding right amount of stream in the water - in the USA you could use the word "flow" in place of "stream". We say "stream" when we talk of a small river with moving water in it, but the actual movement of the water is what we call "flow". I could even say that your video has a fantastic flow to it, the story you tell us moves so fluidly! I love it, it is just like I remember it in Finland and also in Sweden! Thank you for sharing this Jonna!! :)
@@jonnajinton gosh, thank you Jonna! I must say that overall your English is very very good!! Your storytelling is so finely crafted, plus the production quality is top-notch as well. I am a 12 year old girl living in Switzerland.

At first, I was waiting for the vampire stories but quickly realized she was talking about mosquitos. 😂
As a Louisianan growing up near swamps and rivers, I feel your pain. They are such little menaces.
Fellow Louisianan here, I can vouch for the pesky critters too. I also dislike the “love bugs” that are prevalent here at certain times of the year
Same here, y'all. Do you also get sad when the drone of cicadas dies off in the fall? I love that sound and I miss it when it's gone. I do not, however, miss the mosquitoes!
South west Florida here. Feeling the pain.
Spray yourself in a scent such as lavender, citronella, or eucalyptus. Those smells give of a 'chemical' that mosquitoes hate, and they'll mask the CO2 you're body gives off, which is what they try to find.
Pretty sure ya'll are talking about the Texas State bird.

Oh Jonna, how do I express my feelings in words that would do justice to how you truly make me feel and how much your work touches the depths of my soul! You are the only person who has the capacity to weave such a wondrous connection with the forests, flowers, rivers, streams, trees, insects, life and nature around you. Oh Jonna, I am so privileged to be watching this depth of storytelling. You're doing a great service to the humanity by weaving this connection with the nature, documenting it and allowing us to feel that same magic all from within the comfort and boundaries of our homes.
And where in the hell are the vampires? I was promised vampires. I haven't seen one god-forsaken vampire
You can’t believe it because we’ve let wickedness grow

I'm used to old cats, they're so much calmer, but I lost my oldest cat Chubbs a couple of weeks ago and dealing with it hasn't been easy. My new kitten Midsummer is definately helping with it, and watching your amazing videos help so much too.
I too--lost a much loved senior cat to illness in June. It's VERY hard. Giving another cat love, and a home--can help with our healing.
I AM truly sorry for you loss
Of your BELOVED CHUBBS
May your heart be healed
And your soul mended/renewed
As this new relationship grows

Hmm so true. I feel you
Same here. Autumn is beautiful, indeed, but it comes with the portent of winter, which depresses me. Summer forever, in my heart.
I’m trying to find “something I love, something that makes me smile” right now. Thank you Jonna for being a wonderful example of living boldly.
Oh Km I pray you find it soon!

Even when I’m feeling the lowest of lows and don’t know how I can keep going your videos remind me that there is still so much beauty in this world left to see and I don’t want to miss it. Your videos help me change perspective in the most crucial moments. Thank you so much!

True to life fairytale. Muchas gracias

You singing to the cows was magical. Bless you both for making earth a better place.
It's just so beautiful
Those little mosquitos cannot stop me from loving the country

Unfortunately, in a country like this, their children are deprived of their families because of social media, under the pretext of protecting children from domestic violence, but a child needs his parents more than anyone else.
You can find His fingerprints everywhere if you are able to get outside of the concrete jungles we called cities.

It’s amazing how similar Sweden and Maine are. You can see where the glaciers carved the lakes and valleys in both places.
Beautiful.
Love your conversation, ❤️ sending Love Sunshine and Beauty Across the world....*'"`•°×√•`~^°✓>•`~°
I’m rooting for you and your happiness.
i'm actually tearing up watching this please never EVER stop what you're doing 🌬🤍
You and your husband are SO adorable doing that beautiful photo-shoot!!🥰 🌺
Everything about your videos is utter perfection. What a gift they are to all of us!!
Aww thank you!! ❤ Lots of love from me and Johan :)
Only some during early morning,
and dusk in the evening--when it's cooler.
Here, here! She's a super talented person and has such a unique character to her art and her presentation. Very cool!
T
From within the walls of my apartment in the middle of a concrete jungle, it gives me immeasurable joy to see you happy and thriving surrounded by such natural beauty. ❤
I adore everything about this channel, I’ve been watching it for like 5 years now. And it’s so inspiring and wonderful to see Jonna growing and upgrading as a person and as a video maker. I do however miss the old videos, when she was just sitting in front of the camera and talking about everything happening to her at the moment, and now it has changed into only her voice over footages of the nature. It’s very beautiful and it’s really good quality footage, but i miss seeing her sit and talk like a friend :(
And I really miss the times when she used to show her daily life, her home, chores, making food and coffee and everything. It really felt like home, so cozy, so heartwarming, so precious. I remember watching these videos crying when i was homesick and it saved me while getting through the university 🥺❤️
It makes me want to cry so badly, but I understand that people can’t stay the same forever, that everyone has to change and have new interests
Yes. I love both, perhaps a little more a mix of both would be perfect.

You and the story of your beautiful home and living are precious. A residence that is very inspirational too.

Aww thank you so much for your kind words! And thank you for teaching me how to use the word "stream" in the right way! :D ❤
