    Mission Guide: Takedown
The naval passage to St. Petersburg is cleared, and we’re moving our ships in to support the final assault on Moscow. Unfortunately, the Soviets have managed to get their Iron Curtain project back on track and have built another prototype. Worse still, this prototype is fully operational. Be prepared for temporarily indestructible Mammoth tanks to attack your base; your only option is to distract them until the effect wears off. And then there’s the issue of the nuclear silo... Good luck with that. Don’t worry-we’ll help you conquer this one. On the bright side, we can construct cruisers, which will greatly aid in destroying the enemy base!
    Let’s dive into the details!
    Strategy Guide
    A soft Landing
At the start of the mission, you’ll receive reinforcements approaching from the south, consisting of an MCV and a small mechanized group supported by infantry. Although there’s space to deploy your MCV and construct a base immediately, I recommend moving your MCV to a small village just west of the LZ. The reason for this is strategic: you’ll want to construct a naval yard in a small bay area just north of the village, which is completely enclosed by rock formations. This location is crucial, as it will keep your ships safe from Soviet Akulas.
    Prepare to Fight
Once you’ve deployed your construction yard, start building production structures, set up a basic economy, and get your base defenses operational. The best base defense in this mission is a combination of pillboxes and a mobile tank force to take out enemy armor. Be prepared for enemy infantry attacks from the southeast, originating from the second Soviet base. Create a service depot to maintain your vehicles. Incoming Mammoth tanks can become indestructible for short periods due to the Iron Curtain effect; when they approach your base, distract them with your medium tanks and evade their attacks until the effect wears off.
    Iconoclasm
Destroy the church and collect the crate to gain additional cash, boosting your economy. Construct a naval yard, radar dome, and tech center to access the highest-tier technology and launch a satellite to reveal the entire map. Start building cruisers and destroyers-note that destroyers are essential for defending against incoming enemy aircraft.
    Oppenheimer
The key to this mission is not to delay too long, as the AI will gladly use a nuclear missile to ruin your day. If you’re unlucky, it could render your base completely inoperable, leaving you without enough resources to restore basic operations. Therefore, use your cruisers to target the nuclear missile silo located next to the Iron Curtain. You can also directly take out the Iron Curtain, which will prevent the Soviets from deploying those invincible Mammoth tanks. I decided to capture the Iron Curtain device, though it’s not required (and honestly, it’s not particularly useful-but old habits die hard!).
    Cleaning House
Once the nuclear missile silo and Iron Curtain are eliminated, focus on destroying the remaining base structures-power plants, refinery, war factory, and so on. This will cripple the operational capacity of the Soviet base to the west. You can either destroy the base entirely or capture parts of it to gain access to Soviet technology. I usually opt for the latter strategy, allowing me to use V2 rocket launchers to take out the Tesla coils guarding the entrance to the Soviet base in the east. Be careful NOT to destroy the Soviet tech center, as capturing it is required to complete the mission. Destroying it will result in immediate mission failure. If your cruisers are targeting too close to the tech center, use alternate fire mode (Ctrl + left-click) to direct their fire away from the tech center.
    Transceptor Technology
Although you can attack the Soviet base to the east by building another naval yard in the bay area adjacent to the Soviet bases, be aware that the waters there are heavily patrolled by Soviet submarines. Moreover, Soviet submarines will continue to arrive as part of enemy reinforcements, so be prepared to fend them off throughout the mission. For this reason, I avoid deploying a naval force in those waters and instead use V2 rocket launchers to start dismantling the Soviet base to the east. Construct V2 rocket launchers and a sizable force of medium tanks to begin your assault on the eastern base. Be cautious, as enemy attack helicopters will target your tanks-bring along rocket soldiers to counter them (I forgot!). With the base defenses down, capture the Soviet tech center. Once the Iron Curtain is destroyed or captured and both tech centers are in your hands, the mission is a success! Good luck, Commander!
