Hey Mark, lead writer of Tanggal (and voice actor for Lucy) here! Thank you for playing our game, the team is really happy that you took your time to do so! I just thought I'd remind people that Tanggal was made during a 10-week long dev course at the University of Skövde, Sweden. The time limit kept us from implementing everything we wanted in the game (it was quite a lot), despite people working overtime. Ten weeks may sound like a lot, but it really isn't - and we learned that the hard way, haha. Regardless, we still hope that the game is an entertaining experience for what it is! FreeFallingUp13 Hi I saw this and I'm Filipino and the Manananggal more often appear as women, or at least that's how they are portrayed in legend. They dont just go for the fetuses in pregnant women but they also eat entrails and by day they are disguised as regular humans then once night comes their bodies separate and the top half is immortal but the bottom half is how you kill it by sealing the wound of the separation so that by sunrise the Manananggal won't be able to return to its old state :)
I like your version of manananggal. It's more look like a demon than a woman vampire. I hope you make a full version of this and make different kinds of mananangal/aswang as a character. Good job :)

Ah yes. Attack on Eachother's Faces. A timeless classic. The English dub is way better than the japanese dub because the heavy breathing noises in English version sound much more authentic. Especially during the fight where Erwin gets his face bitten off by Arm'n'hammer to win Miksa's love. Spoiler alert: she eats both their faces. So romantic.

Hi! I’m the girlfriend of one of the game designers. It was a school project, they are from Sweden! So, You’re kind of correct. It’s inspired by one of the girls on the dev team who happens to be half white, half Filipino! So, they worked with her idea to make tanggal as their school project! ^-^
Mark, I did say this few years back but I really would like you to play 'The Cat Lady'. In my opinion it's a different kind of horror game and has an interesting storyline. I think you'd really like it! Even though the title says Cat Lady it's not really centered around cats. I would tell about it more but of course I don't want to spoil it.

And The Death makes her immortal 😁 Also she owns a lot of cats and the black cat looks like my cat 🐈 There are quite sad moments but also such badass moments 😄 I'm not so good at explaining things since English isn't my mother language 😥
For future reference, my dude, it usually pays to be more direct with the way you form sentences. In this case, it could be changed to "... Supernatural episode where a couple literally ate [them]selves to death [out of] love." It's perfectly fine to take a moment to consider how to phrase something before you actually say it. In my experience, people who do that are typically worth a listen, because there's a bit more thought behind their words.
