Took delivery of a 155 ST line X in September, I've had on going problems with the regenerative energy system only working part of the time, when it's not working the auto stop start doesn't work and it re arranges what I have set up in my view, it's been back 4 times for software updates and still has the problem. Last week the dealer replaced it for another new Puma and now that has the same issues. It's a nice car when working correctly but there needs to be some work done to correct the ongoing problems.😊
You showed the 155hp version. So why you have drum brakes at the back? They said they was only on the 125hp. Are you sure it was a 155hp or lastly with no news ford decided to install posterior drum brakes??
Great video thank you. I have top of the range Puma 2023. Does the new model have fog lamps? Active park assist and a hands free power tailgate or have they stopped this on the new model? Cheers
I would do comparison and i did a few comparisons but is very hard from the point of view of logistics…. Take many time and hard to take cars from dealers for that … now depend also on you what do you want and personal preference…. Both have good and bad. I like Ford Puma design more … interior exterior
I like it very much! How about speaker above the steering wheel? People on the internet are complaining about it that it is obscuring the view, how do you feel about it? I was seating in new puma and I think it is a matter of seat adjustment. Reviewers often seat in a demo car and they do not adjust anything. Also I do not understand people complaining about the engine, I thought it is a price winning engine few years in a row… anyway I really like your reviews!!
For me was fine the dashboard and for my test drive i use the lowest position… it is a little higher then normal but didn’t bother me at all … if you adjust the seat is fine … engine from what i test was fine and smooth… hope will be also reliable in time … now it has a chain and not a belt should be more reliable…
Which colour do you prefer, Cactus Grey (2024 Puma ST line review) or Agate Black (2022 Puma ST review)? Which do you think looks better in real life? P.S. Thanks for the great series of videos, they help a lot when choosing the perfect car 🙂
My pre-facelift Puma is better because it has more physical buttons and knobs. The only thing that I regret is not ordering the St-line-x version with the B&O sound system.
@@steveglossop I really don’t like Teslas. The driver’s cockpit is awful and the cars are ugly like frogs wearing lipstick. I would be interesting upgrading to an EV in 3 years, but not to a Tesla.
What’s the purpose of electronic brake? I never felt that was a relevant and important thing on a car. I prefer start/stop button (which in some cars of this segment is an optional)
Ok, what bothers me, mega box, means you have a hole that is not big enough to be used, let's say you can put a spare tire inside. Let her have a hole down. "Good thing the mega box is just for smaller stuff." Or offer me a Puma where I will choose whether I want a double floor with a spare wheel or I want a hole that I can use twice a year (if)..
@@Antena308 you can put spare tire inside a megabox and still there would be room left. I found megabox very useful, because I can store there bag with small items, windshield washer fluid, bags for groceries and still have the main trunk empty.
Yes, they changed the dashboard from softtouch to hard plastic. Also the door-panels are not that soft anymore. Now the armrest is a bit bigger and adjustable though and they put a leather stripe from the one side of the dashboard to the other... The new one looks much more technical and modern but i also like the quality of the old one more.
Biggest downgrade ever! Bye bye physical buttons, hello new useless screen. Bye bye 5 star ncap rating, hello new 4 star downgrade. Quality of plastics remains bad, trust me, i own an st-line 2020 model. Thx god it's a lease.
You don’t buy a Ford for quality plastics. You buy a Ford because they’re the best handling and most fun to drive in the class. If you want slightly stiffer plastic buy a VW T Roc but you’ll fall asleep with boredom driving it! 😅
@cliftonian10 Agreed. Still you want your car to maintain some standards in terms of quality in order to resell it later. Current quality's interior policy could make this more difficult in the future.
I have found my dream car thanks to Dan!
Glad it was helpful 🙏👍Thanks for feedback
The most comprehensive review of this car! Great job! I just bought exactly the same one :-)
Thanks 🙏🤗

You can also move your foot under the rear of the car, which opens the boot,if you're arms are full.👍
Nice 👌
Great test man! Colour of Porsche Crayon is more similar to Gray Matter/Fancy Gray that was available in older Puma.
Yes 👍 😁Thanks 🙏
I bought the titanium version with a lot of options, hurry to get it back this week
I haven't seen many of them yet in France

I loved your review of the ford puma st line but could you do an in depth review of the st line x

What do you think for comparison Toyota Yaris Cross Premier vs Ford Puma ST Line X, both fully loaded. That would be a nice video to compare these two
@@roninesce8362 Totally agree :) but everyone needs to learn to become better, there is potential I think.
Ford for interior and exterior design and Toyota for engines and overall quality

which car did you like more? puma or the new captur?
Both are super fine cars …. Depend on personal preference 😁

Was this a st line x version or just the st line.
Im convinced its st line x but he says st line
Does this Ford puma 2024 have active park asist Because I can't find it anywhere
I cant remember exactly… 🤔
The question is how long will the 1.0 engine with so much power as 155 last
Probably as long as the 3 years I'll have it.
I would welcome an overview of the android auto integration
Yea i did it 😁 I think is already on my channel the video
@@SDADanCarsI saw one for apple carplay but not android auto, unless i missed it?
Beautiful car. But please Ford, fit a 1500 cc 4cyl engine and I will buy.
👍

They even remove the lights from the glove box also 😢

Hi Dan, According to your experiences, which one would you choose the Puma facelift or the new Renault Captur?
Hard to say … both are similar in value and quality… depend on personal preference
New Capture for sure way better engine and way better torque if you take the edc 160hp!!
Why is there still no electric parking brake in 2024?
What did you press to change the speed/rev display between two different views? Great video!
Just the arrow down 😁Thanks

Drumbrakes in the rear ☹
That’s not a problem if it has enough braking power …

They really downgrade the quality in this facelift model
