One of the most interesting and educational channels about new cars in the low-mid segment. Excellent quality, excellent presenter. Where are the views?
I have the earlier version of the Puma. It is a great car. Too bad however that in the facelift, they removed buttons and knobs. It is more convenient to have knobs for climate control and physical buttons to select drive modes as opposed to navigating through a tablet interface.
I honestly do not fiddle around with AC that much. Don’t understand the big issue that people create around not having physical buttons for that since the screen always displays the buttons for that… Regarding plastics I prefer harder but durable plastics than soft and flimsy ones. Who knows if these harder plastics will last more or less than the previous version softer ? Overall it’s a nice test, helped by a very very flat city with no hills😅
@@joaoreis1079 Climate control matters in areas when it is very hot or very cold. Sometimes you start the car at noon and it is super hot and you tune the air conditioning to the maximum. 20’ later, you are driving in the motorway and you decide that you don’t need it to be that cool.
I own the pre-facelift 2023 Puma and I prefer it much more to what they have done, interior wise. Also, what's the deal with the rear view mirror, why is it so short?

Hi! Thanks for the video and one question, which car is more comfortable and reliable to drive in your opinion, this new Puma or maybe the new Renault Captur? or are they so similar that there is no difference? I think that the interior and multimedia in the Captur seem a little better
Hi, very interesting video. Could you tell me, has this car got rear disc or drum brakes ? I have ordered the same model New 155mhev Auto facelift 2024
Hy Dan, but what evidence you can argue that an manual transmission last longer, A wrong handling of clutch and shifter can distroy a manual also very early. An automatic trans is more komplex, no question, but their are millions of converte, planetar transm. on the road without any problem over years and thousands of kilometers. They need perhaps after years a special maintenance, but on the other hand you have worn on other car parts with a manual transm. Only the CVT had problems from the beginning onwards. Their belt/pulley system was a source of worn and is it perhaps today. Such CVTs need also an adation on their characteristic by the driver. And efficiency, this is also a story of the past. With adopted driving to the automatic characteristic, the differenc in fuel consumption is difficult to measure and sometimes even less with the automatic. I drive automatic since the first Ford A4LD with lock-up clutch and overdrive in the Scorpio was available 1986. Meanwhile I have no nearly 40 years of experience with all types. Converter, planetar up to 9 speed, CVTs and DCTs. I only concern now on the new 7 speed DCTs in Focus and here the Puma the missing manual mode to a rquested gear. This S mode is horrable driving downhill for using the compression of the enginge to brake and control the down speed.

It’s true. Also the plastics in the old one are better quality.

What's best auto or manual ?
Manual is better for efficiency and last longer … Auto is more easy 😁
@@SDADanCars auto only way to get 155 or more

How far did it manage at 100km/h?
Test Toyota Yaris Cross for 2024 and compare consumption with this... vehicle, I guess.
