I met Dallas once in my studio at 900 Bway, when he had FreeWorld. A guy name Crawford hired me to help him with 3D animation. Dallas came in with his boys, and sat at my desk to see what I had done. He liked it. It was a chick-head cartoon girl. I just did it the day before. Eventhough 3D new, I knew what i was doing. The budget got approved on my work tho I just got hired the day before the meeting with Dallas. Then when Crawford showed what he had done. It was terrible. However, Dallas' boys told him it was good. I was so pissed that I went to grab my 3D demo reel off the book shelf behind me just to show Dallas what real 3D was suppose to look like. I accidentally dropped my tape on the floor and when I went to pick it up, Dallas had got up out my black workstation desk and quickly left the studio. (Not a word to me the whole meeting) I tried to get his attention and say "It should look like this". I wasn't his contact. Yes, for the first time in my career I was going to cut the client for misrepresenting. I just couldn't take it. The young lady who hired Crawford was Kim at FreeWorld. Crawford was very slick talker. He tried to con me out my deposit after Dallas approved the work. Crawford bounced my check. Coming from the bank. i happened to be walking down the street and the guy model in the video to me it was FreeWord. I had to go to Kim just to get Crawford to pay me. She was kind. Eventually Crawford didn't deliver the video. To this day, I wish I hadn't drop that video. They would have saw my work and let me fix the video. I could still ace it. Eventually, while still at 900 Bway, I gave my demo to Hype, and he blew up with CG animation in "What's it gonna be" with Buster. Anyway, Glad I told the real story. Sorry that video didn't work out. I would have bossed it.💯❤️⚡️🔥⭐️💥👏🎥🎬 Oh, I think the artist was "Lisa" or something. Attractive brown skin chick. God bless.
I think Crawford was doing their flyers and got wind of the project and took it too. I was cut out as soon as he got the approval after I went to Kim to force him to pay me. I gave my demo to Hype and he got all the credit for 3D CGI animation. I did the 1995 Source Award cover and CD. My studio closed and I became CG Specialist for Philip Morris on Park. Did BMW site for several years, but now I do museum quality. I'm still going to do a music video. 💯⭐️🎥🎬 But I have been hacked ever since. That's a rough industry. Too bad they never worked "with" me. I would have took it up a whole other level. They mirror me everyday tho. I'm an expert 3D animator but they still can't really see me no matter how many eyes they got on me.
